Chapter 34: Duel

Urther: "We must hurry." 

Merlin: "Yes sir." 

Urther along with Merlin was rushing towards the core region. Since he didn't know who these trespassers were he was in a rush because he did not know whether these trespassers had good or bad intentions. 

Merlin: "Sir we are close to the heart." 

Urther: "Yes, I hope that they-" 

Urther: "Nevermind, it seems that they have found the heart  let's hurry." 

Merlin: "I can see them." 

Urther and Merlin were finally able to see the backs of the trespassers. 

Merlin: "There seem to be 4 of them two Pokemon, a flower and a kid." 

Urther: "That kid." 

Urther: 'Sire? No, although he looks like him he is not my sire. I can not even feel his Aura on him.' 

Urther: 'Aura' "!" 

Merlin: "Stupid trespassers dare to mess with this space take this." 

Urther: "No, wait-" 

Before Urther could stop Merlin, Merlin had already sent a thunderbolt at them. 

A while ago... 

Autumn: 'Wait but how come the tree knows what I am thinking? Unless.' 

Autumn: "Violet can you try to ask the tree a question in your mind like what kind of tree it is?" 

Violet: "Huh. Uhh okay, I will try." 

Violet: 'Mr Tree who are you?' 

'The heart of imaginary space' 

'The tree of consciousness.' 

Violet: "Sir it is saying that it's known as the imaginary tree." 

Autumn: "Okay thank you." 

Autumn then looked at the tree with a worried gaze, Autumn had an idea of what power the tree holds but also wished that the guess he had on his mind isn't true. 

Autumn: 'Tree of Consciousness does that mean that this tree has the power to read others' thoughts because it holds power over others' consciousness? If that's the case then-' "!" 

Autumn: 'Looks like our guests have arrived.' 

"Take this" 

Autumn: 'A thunderbolt ehe.' 

[Neutralizer] {Ex}

Able to neutralise attacks if a sufficient amount of Aura is used. 

Autumn raised one of his hands and a strange glow appeared on his hands as soon as the thunderbolt came in contact with his palm the thunderbolt suddenly disappeared. Autumn can now see their so-called guests. He first looked at Merlin and couldn't help but be surprised after looking at the imaginary mage's potential. 

Autumn: 'Spacial affinity no wonder that this mage just now manage to find my concealed space.' 

Autumn then looked at the other person who was accompanying the mage but when he saw the next person froze for a second but immediately snapped out from his momentary daze. 

Autumn: 'Well I did hope that we could meet again but I would have preferred it in much more favourable conditions.' 

Merlin: "Looks like that is not enough to take you down. Alright, how about-" 

Before Merlin could use his next move Urther dashed into action. 

Merlin: "Sir Urther."

Autumn: "Hoh interesting bring it on Valiant Knight." 

When Autumn said that Urther eyes widened for a second but soon a grin appeared on his face though you can't exactly see it due to the armour he had still Urther was indeed grinning at this moment. 

Merlin: "Let me aid you." 

Autumn: "Oh no you don't." 

Autumn raised both of his hands to cast his technique. He used his left hand to use the space technique and his right hand to use creation. 

[Space manupulation]: (Confined Space) 

[Creation]: (Sword creation) 

The power of Creation is one of the top tier power that an Aura Guardian can possess but there is a condition to use it that one condition being that the Aura Guardian cannot just create things arbitrarily. They must have full knowledge of the thing they want to create to minor details. 

Merlin: "Space manipulation" 

Urther: "Merlin let me handle this." 

Merlin: "Alright be careful his space techniques are much stronger than mine." 

Urther: "Haaa" 

*Clank 

Both Autumn and Urther's sword collided with an immense force which send a devastating shockwave throughout the imaginary space. The surroundings were also on the brink of destruction but they returned to their original state thanks to the unique nature of the imaginary space which can restore any destroyed area within the imaginary domain. 

Autumn: "Huh what's the matter did you forget to have lunch or what?" 

Urther: *grunts 

Urther firmly grasped his sword and raised it above his head and went in for another strike this time with more strength seeing this Autumn took a defensive stance and blocked the incoming attack. 

Autumn: "Alright now we are talking but let's step it up a notch shall we?" 

Both started to engage in an intense duel, Autumn will go into offensive and defensive to parry and retaliate against incoming attacks. Both were also moving across the battlefield and attacking each other whenever they got an angle to attack. Furthermore, their speed was something else, both were moving quite fast that no one could make out what was going on except for one individual among them. It was Merlin he could see what was going on and currently, he was in awe of what he was witnessing. 

Autumn: [Time manupulation]: {Time acceleration} 

Urther: [Agility]

A move that increases the speed of the user. 

Merlin: 'Amazing that human strength is far greater than I expected but what's more impressive is his techniques but why do I feel like they have similarities to sir Urther's swordsmanship.' 

Autumn was the one who had the lead currently and after some time Autumn knocked the sword in Urther's hand and was the victor. 

Autumn: "Yield" 

Urther: "I had once made a promise to never yield to any of my foes but... that only applies to my foes, not you sire. So yes I give up my sire your swordsmanship is much more superior than mine." 

Autumn: *Smiles "Get up." 

Urther slowly gets up and after that Autumn snapped his fingers to release Merlin from the confined space. 

Merlin: "Sir Urther this..." 

Urther: "I will explain later it's about to happen." 

Autumn: "What are talking about-" 

The imaginary tree started to glow intensely and soon a white colour sphere was projected towards Autumn. Autumn caught the sphere and take a closer looked at the sphere which soon moulded into a badge. 

Autumn: [Analyze]
