Power Punch

VOW, Veil Of Worlds. Merely another game in the industry, just that it's the most advanced technologically, one that gives you much more freedom than any other. That's the mindset a seemingly ordinary student takes when logging in for the first time, and that's the mindset he... or maybe she very quickly realizes to be too simple, too lacking. Because the changes she herself experiences and sees in others might just be something that makes a part of another, much greater truth.

A story placed in a world of VOW, a new game made with full dive technology, and the world hundreds of years after Earth became but a reminder for future generations and humanity found their new homes among the stars. And where far more than desolate systems lie, even more so behind the veil that is the fabric of reality.

Story mostly from one POV, first person perspective, (usually) ~3000-4000 words per chapter.

This story is the first of a larger number of books I intend to write in the same world, or at least universe. There will be characters from this book in others I write later on and I might not be explaining some things in those, but you are free to read them in whatever order as there should be no crucial information omitted.

The cover art is a cut from original work that doesn't belong to me. If you have an issue with it, contact me and I will take it down. It is though what was originally the base of Helia's appearance, so I'll keep it here until I get a proper artwork done. It will also be in the glossary (careful of spoilers there).
