The long night has ended, the world is starting to get back to normal. Normal being that we're all sheltered in massive city states constantly afraid of the soulless, aka skitters, from sneaking in and feasting on our flesh.

I know it's not really normal, but it could be worse...much worse. You could after all join the Rachelle Institute Sorority at the grand university of Nova Nash only to learn you're just another one of their pawns to play with. You could also find yourself in the middle of a love triangle with your older sisters forcing you to obey their humiliating and degrading orders every single day.

I hate it and want to simply walk away, but to refuse the seniors now would be to face expulsion and life on the streets. Here in Nova Nash a diploma from the university is everything and completely reliant on your membership to the fraternity or sorority to attend.

And thus I have to wake up every morning and hope to god I can get through the day with my dignity intact.
