Hello! If you are reading this then I have been captured by an evil king. The only reason I am able to write this is because the sweet princess gave me a notebook. It is only day one of being in prison, but so far it isn’t bad.
The princess took pity on me and gave me a few books and grimoires. With my accelerated growth as a hero I was easily able to learn the spells in the grimoires. I think they are forcing me to learn these spells on purpose, but I don’t care. They are good reads and using magic is surprisingly fun. I quickly lit up the room with the torch spell that was already in my arsenal.
It had gotten dark in my small cell. Perhaps it was a good time to describe my humble new abode to everyone? Well lets see… It was actually pretty large at about 16 feet by 16 feet, and the bed was nice with a beautiful red blanket with gold embroidery. There were books strewn all over the floor from my reading all day. Everytime I would finish a book and complain that I was bored, the princess would show up with another book.
I was a surprisingly fast reader… Okay, It might have been due to my increase in stats since I became a hero, but that is besides the point! There were about 20 or so books thrown about the prison cell which was made of black obsidian. The princess was a god sent! She was also way too beautiful for that old man to be her father. I am convinced that she was the mailman's child.
She was my age at 19 and she had the most beautiful long silver hair flowing all the way down towards her waist. Her eyes were a gorgeous crimson color, and everything about her face was perfect. I wasn’t hideous, but I would say that compared to her I might as well have been. She was simply divine, and I was at best above average. You see my skin was fair, but my features were “normal”. My hair was black and reached my shoulder, and my eyes were a normal brown in color. It wasn’t fair, I wanted to also have those beautiful crimson eyes!
As the day came to a close and night descended the princess gave me a sweet goodnight, and the King told me to call him when I changed my mind about this whole hero business, but I wasn’t about to change my mind! Fufufufufu! Who can hold out for longer, me or this country?
