Chapter 23: Chapter 23 – New character to be summoned.

After arriving in the city center, which was not far from my new house, I looked for some service that could go to my old house to pick up the two beds.

It was not hard to find. After asking some people for information, I could find one place within minutes. I went in and told them what I needed. After that, I gave them the address of the two houses, and they confirmed that they would do everything today.

I had to pay now. It was a little more expensive than I expected, but I paid anyway since I had no other way to do it. I could rent a small truck to haul the beds, but I think I can't do it all myself anyway.

"And that makes it much easier."

So, after doing that, I went to my old neighborhood to talk to the people who rented the house to me. As I said, I had gotten this house in a bad place where they only had old houses at an affordable price.

The place was not too far from the house I had previously lived in.

It took me over an hour to get there, and after talking to the receptionist of the place in an old and somewhat damaged building, I was finally ready to return to my house.

I told them the men would go to the house to get the beds, and the rest could stay there. Many of those things are mine since the house was not furnished when I rented. But they are old things.

It's not a good idea to put that stuff in my new house.

"So now that I've done that, I can return home and rest. I will also go back to reading Dragon Ball and start reading Fate. I think I will summon the first character tomorrow morning."

Feeling satisfied, I pedaled home.

"Rias, the beds are probably already coming. When they arrive, call me, I'll be in my room." Rias was on the couch reading something that looked like a fashion magazine. I don't know where she got that, but it's not like I care.

Speaking of which, why doesn't she watch TV? Doesn't she like it?

"Fine."

"Why don't you watch TV? Don't you like it? I think it would be more fun than reading this."

"The TV isn't working..." Rias closed the magazine and looked at me.

"It's not working? Are you sure?" Surprised by her statement, I tried to turn on the television using the control. As she said, it wasn't working. I checked the outlet, but everything was fine.

"See?"

"Damn. Let's talk to Edna about this."

"I don't think the realtor will give you a new TV."

"Well, I rented the house furnished. I was hoping at least the TV would be working. I'll try to talk to Edna tomorrow; if they can't fix it, I'll buy a new one."

"I'll be waiting for that."

I sighed and ran to my room. After urinating and washing my hands and face, I threw myself on the soft bed to continue my reading. "Let's start volume 7 of Dragon Ball." I already had an idea of which character to summon, but I had better read everything I have, just in case.

Hearing something tapping on my bedroom window, I opened my eyes. I had fallen asleep during the last volume I had of Dragon Ball. I didn't have a clock here, but it was probably 3 or 4 a.m.

I looked over and saw Rias lying next to me. I smiled and then got up and went to the big glass window. When I got closer, I looked outside towards the garden. There was nothing there.

However, from the trees in my vision, I could see that the wind was fierce outside.

"Probably the wind "threw" something at the window." I yawned and went to the bathroom. I peed before returning to bed. "I think I'll try to sleep again. But it will be hard. I don't feel tired."

And as I imagined, it was pretty hard to sleep. After trying to sleep for almost twenty minutes, I pulled the first volume of "Fate" out of my storage and started reading. By the time I realized it, I had finished the first volume and was already light outside.

"But now I feel a little tired... Damn." But that didn't matter. I got up and washed my face. I ran downstairs and prepared the coffee before finally summoning a new character.

But I have to put the ATM somewhere before doing this. I think I will put it in a room that no one uses.

I went up the stairs, and in the corner of the bedroom, I put the ATM so that I could withdraw my money. The money from the previous mission was still in the ATM, and I needed it to pay the rent next month.

"But since it won't disappear, I can leave it here. I'll take the rest of the money." I took the rest and left only the money needed for the rent. I didn't want to have any unforeseen events.

'Anyway, let's complete a new mission now and gain more money.'

Right there in the room, I opened the list of characters and items available for summoning. It was much longer than before. The list was already so long that I wondered how I would find a character among the vast plethora of characters that would be available in the future.

"Well, the characters are separate anyway. I have to choose the "Novel/Manga" before choosing a character. They won't get mixed up... I hope."

Okay, but now here it is, the new character that I decided to summon to take care of my finances and the planning of everything.

"Of course I want."
