Chapter 2: Yearly Gift Package.

At the backyard of this vast mountain, there is a huge forest with all kind of mysteries, beasts, plants, waterfalls and rivers.

A perfect ecological environment, rarely seen, that depicted a very harmonious and strangely calm scenery.

Within this soothing ambience, a discordant voice suddenly sounded, destroying this hardly seen consonance.

The air started vibrating, the earth was wrinkling.

Flying trees and smoking dust could be seen rolling all over.

Fearful shouts and wailing could also be easily heard, accompanied by the sound of retreating steps, a lot of it.

It seems as if the animals within this area decided to immigrate collectively.

And within this huge storm of smoke, dust and anarchy, a little child about 5 years old kept a punching pose.

Ace, who got clear understanding of his power level, started thinking about a training plan.

Not for power, just for control.

"I am afraid I will end up killing Dadan bandits, If I'm not careful."

Dadan nodded, as she brought Ace along.

Soon, pathetic wails and unwilling cries sounded all around.

"This monster seems to gain more appetite..."

"Brothers, let's join forces..."

A year passed by.

At the foot of the mountain, a little boy with an iron pipe on his back, drag a humongous beast behind him.

The bandits not far away, hurriedly approached him with fearful, full of awe eyes, as they took over his 'baggage'.

"Welcome back, Ace sama..."

Ace couldn't help but smirk smugly, as he nodded his head pretendingly.

As he moved towards the bandits den, he couldn't help but think about his strength.

"To think that even without any oriented training, my power will still increase. Fortunately swordsmanship and physical talent helped a lot in taming this wild power."

Because of his large appetite, he found himself forced to hunt for a huge quantity of meat, since then, he became an existence that every bandit fear and worship.

This is also helped a lot in building a more solid foundation, and gaining more control over his powers.

After he returned to his room, Ace closed the door.

After taking a deep breath, he called over.

"System, receive the gift packet."

A light screen appeared suddenly in front of his eyes.

A golden light was formed from the package icon, as it flew from the screen to his right hand.

This time, it didn't merge, rather, it started morphing, and soon became a golden shining fruit with dragon scales.

'Devil Fruit?'

The first thought Ace come up with is so, but soon he shook his head.

A description suddenly appeared beside the fruit in the form of a small screen light.

That's why Ace was so excited, that he completely lost interest in any draw of the same level.

He hurriedly ate the golden fruit and it tasted very delicious.

Later on, his body started burning with golden light, and deep down in his consciousness, twelve zodiac symbols were magically engraved there.

Ace soon got a clear idea about the way to master this powers.

He can only choose one symbol everytime. Only after fully grasping its essence, can you pick another one.

Ace uncerminiously choose the tiger symbol.

For Ace whose power kept increasing, the power of spiritual balance was quite a god given gift for him.

With this power, his spirit, mind, will, body and any other abilities will always be balanced and easy to use and master to the fullest.

The moment he made a decision, the originally dim symbol was dyed with a strong golden hue.

Ace felt an indescribable ease and comfort.

His originally wild brute power turned mild and easy to tap on.

The mysterious Supreme King Haki seems to be very clear, and he doesn't think that it would be hard to manipulate it at will.

The same for the other two haki types.

Ace sighed in wonder.

"What a mysterious ability. If its grasped correctly, my foundation will be more flawless."

"Based on the current light, it may take a year or so to fully master. There is no need to hunt anymore. Spiritual balance needs meditation and mental ease.

Maybe it's time to visit the village and confirm my conjecture.
