Chapter 2: The way to Earn: First Encounter!

I was asleep, using a piece of Sorbet as a pillow, when the pulsing Crystal made a noise to wake me. 

I felt itchy... like something was crawling on me. I looked at the crystal and understood.

[Dungeon under attack. Enemies: bandits X5. Bound Girl X1. Bound Boy X1. Bound Elderly man X1. Threat lv: 1]

I watched as my Sorbet pelted the men with slime bullets... luring them into room 2.

"Geeze, damn slimes! Keep those Nobles protected, they're our meal ticket."

"Aye, boss!" The biggest guy was carrying all three prisoners... 

They thought they were tough... they weren't expecting an Iron Guardian... Sebastian made short work of them, then brought the hostages to me. I ungagged them... and the girl screamed, so the gag went back on... the boy wet himself... And the old man muttered "whoever you are, Please do not harm the children."

That's when I remembered... Dark Cave. I looked around the bandits corpses in the previous room until I found a torch... And A Stone that read [ignition stone]... it took a few tries, but I eventually got it.

"A naked little girl? What is a child like you doing with these monsters. That's a dungeon core! Child, run! These monsters will kill you to protect the core!"

He then stopped speaking, as I leaned against the core...

"Hello, Whoever you are. And welcome to my Dungeon. I am Sei, the core guardian."
