6 MONTH TIMESKIP

MONTH 4

Answering the question that vesemir hahad at the end of my second here meant that he wanted to 'boy's slot from me. Whether he wanted to add a growing rune ward to a new garden he wanted made, golems to farm the garden and even runes all over the castle to keep it warm or cool. With each request giving more that I could ask for in return. Cause while my research and domain expanding I could eventually get samples of everything this world has and make more. It is much easier to ask the witchers to use their contacts so I can buy the stuff I want.

Though not a lot of stuff that I want, there is still some high level magical metal and alchemy ingredients that mages have. And with no way for me to buy them except in small bits that they would make me pay for with an arm and leg. So it's just more convenient to have the witchers go to their female sorceress to get me some stuff.

After starting on the runes for a growth type affect, that uses my life control, I have the golem lab start making what is basically a mister handy from fall out. With a magical gravity core in the center I start adding the golem connected to it. Placing arms everywhere and adding simple farming tools, I appreciate the looks of a good looking robot design. I love robots! There so awesome!

Now as for the magical gravity core. It is something I've been making to get flying units. Though every attempt so far has ended in failure, I still got this small core from it. Able to lift a little under a 1000 pounds means it's kinda useless for carrying troops like I wanted or not fast enough for air combat. But for a slow moving farmer that takes care of delicate plants and such its it's fine. Plus i want to see Leo and the returning witchers freak out about it floating.

With that done now I just need to add runes around the castle to keep it at a moderate temperature. Placing them in the wall so no one see them the castle starts cooling done a tad bit. It being summer in the north not making it blistering hot. Though this means when winter comes I'll have to check to see that they work well from longterm strenuous work.

Okay, that's done so let's get some updates on projects.

The rail gun still breaks, so that sucks. Even if I lower its power and have it made from a stronger material it just won't work right. Even with the constant efficiency tweaking of my rune work that my mind does unconsciously. It still is not enough. It's why I wanted the magical material from the mages. Cause it seems that while golems are a dungeons breed and butter my talent in making new and stronger metal is only above average. Still amazing but research is slow.

And as I said before I've been trying to a air unit. Both fight and transport troops. Though as I said it is not ready for anything and will take a hot minute to figure it out. Every test I did made halo pelican shaped golem not even lift a foot of the ground. So baring making the entire thing just feather stone, a better version of magic imbued stone. I'll just wait till I make a better grav core. That's not even to mention the thrusters I'll need to make. Which I haven't even really tried yet.

And speaking of air units, I also made anti air units. Why,  well because my ranger scouts to the north spotted dragons. A lot of dragons, like 10 of the damn things. These aren't like wyvern sized ones or even the ones like saskia from the game. Nope, these are big boys. Nearly 50% longer from tail to snout, and looks like he body builds with the hulk  for fuck sakes. 

So yeah I made AA, what else was I supposed to do, nothing? But I don't think that's as big as they get either. They literally feed off magic, and to the north there are a shit tons of leylines. No wonder the big basterds dont head south of the mountains. The only reason to do so would be to grab gold from the other races. So a whole bunch of giant dragons probably fighting for more resources and huffing magical cocaine from the leylines. Means a huge threat to everyone.

So putting some simple airburst AA guns on the mountains I managed to claim is better than nothing. Then I'm also working on some ground to air missiles that track heat and stuff. Need a thruster system for that though so I guess I'm working on it after all.

Of course now that I've seen that, I'm also kinda like okay fuck it, let's go big. And thus began project more dakka. A project where I started upgrading a lot of guns and saving them for an oh shit moment. This leads to what I call the seige bolter rounds, a bolter round using runes and magical gunpowder and explosives. These things leave a barrel faster than sound by so much that in the test. They they put large crater holes in the target before the sound burst popped and my sensors could register the guns kickback. And my sensors are strong, dont have a exact number but they are awesome. 

That's not even mentioning how I'm doing it to all my weaponry. And even slipped in a titan class golem blueprint. Though no physical work has been done on it, I can say it'll be a beast. Based on the titans from titanfall, these guys should be able to tango with dragons if they decided to land. Which they shouldn't if they see this guy.

That's all I got done these two months, which is a lot. And looking at my base that is the size of multiple mountains but underground,  I think I should start on plans for ground vehicles. It takes a bit for my marines to travel.
