Chapter 2: The story of my new life

In a small tribal village, in the middle of a forest, a baby's cries can be heard, as the wife of one of the tribes' hunters gives birth to our' future Mc, now named Talon son of Raven (Mother/Life bearer) and Maw (Father/Life giver)

Year one:

The first moment of Talon's life was first celebrated on a successful birth, with five more following in that year, sadly two funerals were also held as the mothers died during or after giving birth.

Year three:

During the second month of this year, Talon learned how to crawl, causing his mother to be excited, and making his father proud as the first baby to crawl in his generation/age group. sadly, during this same year on the fifth month, the village was attacked by a pack of wolves, killing two warriors and one baby, and injuring five warriors and two babies. Because of this incident the village went on a massive hunt for any and all wolves they could find, the village itself went on alert as well, because the closest wolf pack to them is three days travel, at the base of a mountain in a cave. The village made the decision to send out some hunters and warriors to scout out the area and investigate what caused the pack of wolves to attack them. But nothing came of it as the wolf pack at the mountains were still there, so the tribe assumed that it was another pack trying to move into the area and put it behind them.

 

Year five:

As soon as Talon saw his fifth spring, his father started teaching him how to skin small animals and how to make traps to catch them.

During the second month of being taught how to make traps and skin animals, his mother noticed that he was able to make 1 trap a day without struggle, and mentioned it to his father, who became proud of his son, as to him this meat that his son was going to be a strong hunter of the tribe. This also marked the start of his father imparting his knowledge on how to hunt and what are the many dangers of the forest, as well as signs to look out for.

 

Year thirteen:

On Talons thirteenth spring he went on his first hunt with the tribe, during the hunt he was able to work well with all the other hunters and earned himself a place within the tribe's hunters it was also during the hunt that he learned a lot from other hunters and started improving his hunting technique, making both his mother and father proud of having such a strong child. It was also during this year that he was given his tattoos to represent his mother, father, tribe and his status as a hunter of the tribe. Going on a hunt with the tribe also made him learn that some hunters and all warriors of the tribe had some special ability, like Jaguar Paw is a hunter and son of the chieftain and has the ability to track nearly anything, the description he gave of using his ability was that when he finds tracks, he can focus onto it causing those specific tracks to light up in his eyes. White for prey, red for predators and gold for exotic animals like a snow fox in the middle of spring.

Year nineteen:

While on a hunt with his whole tribe, they came across another hunting party on their lands that had not been granted permission, so they did as they normally would and killed everyone, be it man, woman or child, no one was spared, to Talon this was just like another hunt to him as he had heard stories from old hunters and warriors that had encountered other hostile tribes, or tribes that try to take their hunting grounds, that night the tribe had a great feast, and that night was also the night Talon found out that he could heal, as he took multiple arrows to the chest, but did not notice them until someone at the village pointed it out to him. During the feast Talon was granted the honour of eating the heart of the leader of the hunting party that they had killed, in celebration of finding his power/ability and it being on the strong side, making both his parents and his tribe proud and also allowing him to be promoted to elite hunter and be granted the title of Talon the Relentless. This battle also served as motivation to learn from the warriors of the tribe in exchange for some of the animals he hunted, allowing him to improve his combat skills at an extremely fast rate.
