‘Whats this?’ I couldn’t help but wonder as confusion enveloped my mind.

People often said that we get to pass through doors of either heaven or hell. But what's with this empty black locale?

‘Well, people often say many things.’ I couldn’t help it. Was I in some room, being saved? But that's almost absurd. I fell from a pretty great height if 7 floors are considered that is.

I don’t want to be alive. Getting back up, with the same people and having the same life is more than hell for me.’ I kept looking around to find some clues while thinking about what had happened.

I had left that world behind with all those bitter moments and hopeless scenes of my life. Was I going to go back and suffer again?

-Rustle-

“Huh! Huh!” I blurted out immediately when I heard a sound around me.

Now one thing was for sure.

‘I am alive!!’ No No No…!

‘I didn’t want to die just so I could go back.’ I started stressing about the fact I was alive. In all the turmoil, I suddenly jerked my eyes open.

What met my eyes couldn’t be portrayed by mere words. It was a sensation. And there weren’t sufficient words to clarify that emotion.

Green and fresh trees, some were blooming while many had already prospered. Clear blue sky and a gleaming sun. But it was strange that the sun had more red colour, and some blue colour mixed.

There was grass surrounding the whole place while flowers danced on their stems based on the rhythm of the wind.

It was so mesmerising that for a few minutes I forgot that I was Fucking alive!.

But thanks to a flying cat, I got distracted.

“What the..!!!” you would have understood my literal shock if you had seen a cat flying over you, its genitals dangling down straight at your sight.

“Get a hold dream, get a grip. This is just some dream.” or was it not?

I couldn’t grasp the situation. This was always one of the consequences of being an average student. Grasping Ability = Shit.

I had always been jealous of the people who could grasp anything instantly.

Well, focusing on the current situation, what in actual flying duck's world was this? Was I hallucinating? Or maybe I was being doctored? Coma?

No, it felt too real to be in a coma or something. One thing I was sure of, was that I was ALIVE and not dreaming or something.

-Thud-

Some sound rang in the area again. This time I was so scared that I was about to flee.

‘Hsiej#%fien’ Nothing but curses.

What is a nasty thing to ever happen when you want to run?

To Not Be Able To RUN.

Running was a simple moment, like walking, whilst an upgraded version of it. You put strength in your legs and…Gaaah!

The hell!!

I don't have legs!!

As if this wasn’t enough to drive me crazy, I discovered something uncanny and erratic again. I wasn’t able to turn around my head or body or even see myself.

To be honest, I couldn’t even feel my body. It was a feeling like when your legs go numb. You know you have them but can’t feel them.

It was the same for me, just that instead of legs, I couldn’t feel my body. How amazing was that huh?

Before I could do anything, a wolf like animal jumped over my head, falling right in front of me.

It had a horn on its head, coloured in dark red. It shined brightly when the slight sunlight fell on it.

“Grrr…” the wolf snarled when it saw me but soon turned around and ran away.

Now all this would’ve been weird for me,...that is if I hadn’t read the things called novels.

I wasn’t a devotee of that stuff. Well, I wasn't of any, to be honest. But those things at least helped with my stress and anger.

I hadn’t read many of those, but only a few had given me a thinly jagged idea.

To put it simply, I was born in this new world. Like, evading the misery on earth to tumbling in the mouth of a fiasco.

Unless…I get a system, the golden finger.

“System?” I tried to call it out, secretly hoping to see a blue thing in front of me. But the pop up never happened.

Wonderful! Another bad luck.

Now again, what about my body?

This time I tried to calm down since getting bothered won’t help either way. I thought of walking and surprisingly, this time it worked.

As I kept passing the routes, the sunlight over my head was getting slighter. I didn’t know if it was my imagination but I could see the limbs of trees growing wider and spreading over.

After walking for quite some time, I came across a force of creatures. They were small. Looked like rabbits and astonishingly, didn’t get terrified when I appeared.

But my suppositions of these animals being cute soon were crushed when those god damn beasts opened their mouths to uncover big dirty teeth.

“Ugh..” for the monsters I knew in novels, these were pretty trash and ghastly.

One of the rabbits in the mob started running at me, and this time its speed was insane. Though I could see it, my reaction pace wasn’t apt to keep up.

‘Please disappear!!’ All my thoughts ever encompassed for a while was the monster withering and dying.

And I saw it moderately precise, but something black spread from my viewpoint and galloped the monster.

“!!!” As if that wasn’t plenty, the monster disappeared and not even its bones were left.

But I didn’t have time to think about anything that had happened, when the whole horde went wild and ran towards me, frightening the living spirit out of me.

I scrammed successfully this time, with a speed that appalled even me. “Mommy!!!”

My childlike cry spread around the whole area.

It was only after many miles that the monsters gave up. But I didn't even sweat.

“This is the power of a God!!!” I couldn’t help but screech in joy. I had won a fucking race against a monster!!

How cool was that?

But as if the gods were in my literal opposition, two huge ass birds flew right in front of me. From the time I had been here, the monsters seemed to have come only to me.

Was I some kind of an appetiser for them? Or too luscious for them to resist?

I didn’t know but all I could do was run for my life.

‘So unexpected, that I just ended my life but now I am running away to save it.’ The sudden thought brought a smile to my face.

It didn’t take me long to realise that I hadn't detested life but that world. Those people and my weak self.

But here I wasn’t sure if living would be a good thing or not. Who knows? I just might find the ideal life I wanted?

The thoughts faded from my mind as soon as another monster scurried out of a bush.

“Argh!” Its beak slashed through my body. But as I couldn't see my body, I wasn't sure how deep or dangerous the cut was.

But I was sure as heck that I wasn’t bleeding.

‘Gosh, am I even alive or not?’ I thought about the monster disappearing again.

I had guessed that thinking that was kind of a trigger to something.

And as expected, that black thing spread from somewhere around me and grabbed both of the monsters. But these monsters seemed stronger than those rabbits, seeing how they ripped apart that black thing.

I felt pain. “Don’t tell me!!” My dumb brain had now grasped what was happening. The black stuff was nothing but something attached to my body.

I tried to control it again by thinking. And as I did that, it ran over the monsters, grabbing them around the abdomen.

They squeaked and started to slash around the black stuff.

This was my first ever doing this, but I was sure I wouldn’t feel anything about doing this.

The black thing squeezed harder around the monsters killing them by the pressure, as blood oozed out of their eyes and mouth.

That black stuff enclosed their bodies again, making them vanish into nonentity.

As I expected, slaying monsters and not feeling anything was probable. Unlike the novels where many protagonists are hurled because of slaughtering.

‘So guess that makes me dual cool!’

“But what's with this black stuff? I can see my hand, more like they aren’t there. I wanna see what I look like. Urgh…” I started moving again towards the most empty and free parts.

This forest seemed a lot huge. As far as I can comprehend, I had run over 50-80 miles, but it seemed I wasn’t even half out of the forest.

“Let's run till I die again!” I was angered by all the walking. But all the anger disappeared when I saw a puddle.

Oh, I didn’t even arrive at the half part of the forest after running again. This was one huge-ass forest.

I was scared to look at the reflection, to be honest. What would I be? A beast? Human? Child?

But again, I knew all the overthinking wasn’t going to help. Whatever I was, it wouldn’t alter anymore. Right?

So I dared and moved closer to the puddle.

And what I saw there, I didn’t if I was supposed to laugh or wail.

“Just shove shit up my mouth, what the heck is this?"
