Reborn as his Shadow

The one person that Mo Jingxuan hated more than anyone was Xiao Ying. He had grown up with him, but once they reached the age of twenty, Xiao Ying had imprisoned him and forcibly occupied him day and night. It was only once he was gone though, that Mo Jingxuan realized that the person who cared for him the most was Xiao Ying, despite him never returning the sentiments.

So when he was deceived and framed by his half brother and his body was dumped in the forest, what made Mo Jingxuan the most resentful was not his trusted brother, but rather not being able to see Xiao Ying again….

Maybe because he had too much resentment, or maybe he died wronged enough for even the heavens to take notice, but god mercifully gave Mo Jingxuan a chance to be born again–two chances even.

Mo Jingxuan twisted his black whisp of a body as he grieved, “How much better would it have been to be born with flesh and blood instead of as a shadow, unable to even be touched…”
