It was a temporary peaceful world built thanks to its perfect military balance.
But it collapsed only ten years ago.
It was around that time that the evil dragon appeared on the faraway lands of the north.
Heading towards one northern country, the feared evil dragon was called Colchis.
That dragon easily ate people as if mowing rice, forcing that kingdom to a downfall crisis.
Several countries joined forces, sending an army of subjugation.
But simply speaking, the evil dragon was an invincible existence.
It’s black and shiny scales were harder than steel, even ballista arrows and battering rams were repelled.
And then, from heights that neither swords nor spears could reach, the dragon breathed a red hot breath capable of melting steel and burned people like charcoal.
The battle was too much of a one-sided trampling, the evil dragon was infuriated in this case.
People who are just food and toys tried to attack it. That fact was unforgivable.
The evil dragon immediately aimed to the kingdom’s capital, frying its castle together with every single statesman.
Furthermore, spreading its wings to the neighboring countries, all towns saw their last day as they were violated.
In this messed up matter, the three northern countries were wiped out in a flash.
Like this, the other six countries finally understood the world crisis that was happening.
However, there was nothing they could do.
Even with a large army, it wasn’t possible to give even a single scratch on the evil dragon.
In that case, what they could do to subjugate the evil dragon?
Moreover, if they fail all countries would be burned down in retaliation.
If they move the armed force, there will be retaliation.
That’s not to say, without the army, the military strength will be insufficient.
The worried countries’ leaders finally found a solution to this problem.
They selected the biggest fighting strength from each country, making a team of unrelated vagrant, and attack the evil dragon.
Because there isn’t any country involvement, there’s no need to worry about retaliation.
Also, because the army isn’t moving, it’s easy to induce carelessness and they can secretly move.
The disadvantage of having a small number of people can also be compensated if it’s inside the cave that became the evil dragon’s den.
Rather, they thought it’d be better if it’s inside the cave so it can’t turn the tides flying into the sky.
Thus, each country selected one of the six heroes.
One country, a human hero holding the holy sword, Lyel.
One country, a dwarf warrior holding the sacred shield, Gadols.
One country, an elf who comprehended every magic, Maxwell.
