Chapter 121: III Chapter 23 – A Name hunted, feared and detested

Gene, Shisui and Itachi stood in the morgue along another few Shinobi right next to each other while they tried their best not to stand in the way of the coroner who snapped and growled every five seconds at someone to get the damn hell out of her way while having a conversation with the now unfrozen body complaining about whatever came to her mind, complaining especially about the people standing in her way. 

Well she did not growl at Gene anymore as she raised her hand to something unrecognizable in her pincers and Gene suspected that was her version of the Greek Eureka moment. 

"I know where they come from!", the woman announced what had everyone looking at her as she pointed to literally nothing that was apparently at her pincers her eye six times the normal size as she had a monocle on. 

"This, my dear bean brained colleagues, is a certain type of fabric only found in one place.", she announced. "Kirigakure, only they are producing that fabric." 

Now everyone still looked at her with literal question marks above her head. 

"Could you just stop doubting my words.", she signed, "Good, now listen you uneducated bumbles that call yourselves Shinobi. This Fabric here is called pigeon blue, it is only found in Kirigakure since they are the only ones who know how to produce that damn Shade of blue, and I know that because my dear mother in lay insisted of a damn crap expensive Kimono in that exact color and I not only had to pay an exorbitant amount of money for it but also import it all the way from Kiri, do you know how fricking difficult that was. I tell you one day I will strangle that woman and believe me I will cover up her death as accident and who is to prove me wrong I am the only damn coroner in this damn place. Now, let me tell you..." 

"Miss." one of the Suna Shinobi said. "Thank you very much." before he and the others left before the woman could continue her rant, which she did, audibly so too. 

"So Kirigakure, but what reason could they have to sabotage this mission, I mean they are our way to there for trade relations  and not to do something bad ot them .... why are you looking at me like that?" Gene asked Shisui and Itachi who both were looking at her with somewhat of a sad gaze. "What, do you know why?" 

"Well, I am quite certain I can guess why.", Itachi then said and looked at Shisui. "You better ask him." he pointed at his Cousin and Gene blinked at him moving her hands as if to say, go ahead, tell me. 

"Well Gene....", Shisui hesitated a bit. "...the Yuki have been annihilated by their own village."

"I know." (Gene)

"You are a Yuki, one that is reviving her Clan." (Shisui)

"Yes I am, but I am not trying to do so in the land of waters." she said and shrugged her shoulder. 

"The Yuki clan was destroyed and whoever survived went into hiding Gene, all of them, to the last man and that happened because the other families and everyone else was afraid of them, they feared the Yuki so much it destroyed one of their strongest clans." Shisui empathized, and she swallowed, realizing where he went with his thoughts. 

"So you mean, they are after me.", she concluded and looked at him blinking and processing that information. "Since if the Yuki and our Kekkei Genkai really are joining Konoha we would literally disrupt the balance, since then Konoha would have the Uzumaki, the Uchiha, the Fumie and the Senju technically and then the Uchiha and the Hyuga as unique ability user families." 

"Yes.", Itachi nodded. "We already have more Kage level Shinobi to start with add that and the land of waters knowledge about how dangerous the Yuki are....do I have to explain the rest, they are certainly not happy you are still alive and on your way to them." 

Gene shook her head she did not need another explanation, the rest was easy enough to piece together, the Land of Waters wanted to get rid of her clan, of all ice style users for good, and they were not exactly happy about her reestablishing the clan out in the open. 

They want to get rid of me no matter the cause and that before I set foot into Kiri and if the delegation and trade is going to be cannon fodder in the middle than they don't care. 
Well I guess it is not called the bloody mist for nothing, well they have another one coming if they want to destroy me, or my clan, and hey with a bit of luck there are other survivors out there, and I might figure out what happened really to the Yuki, all the stuff I cannot remember. 

I just need to stay positive, those guys are not going to scare me, I have a curse to solve and Kiri might hold a clue.
