Chapter 160: IV Chapter 7 – One night past

The day passed swiftly. In-between nursing Gaara and running around, it was a beautiful day. Upon nightfall, Anuk settled herself in a guest room, after having cut the trees of the backyard with a few strikes of her Katana as a freebie how she called it into logs for firewood. 

Much to Shisuis amazement, who soon was engaged into a discussion about the use of Kenjutsu by using Wind chakra to create slashes. Anuk openly and freely explained how to infuse air pressure into a strike and letting it fly, thus slashing at great distance.

Turned out she had air and thunder affinity. She explained to him how she used thunder to speed herself up alongside body flickers, combining the two elements craftily. 

Gene showed her ice style and the use of her water style, shooting a few arrows but without chakra since otherwise it would have razed half the compound to the ground. Anuk had no such problems, her Chakra was decently sized but not phenomenal or monstrous, instead she laughed and noted the commander would have preferred those kinds of problems. 

During the night, Gaara slept peacefully, with Sora and Izayoi watching him in amazement and delight. He was a true little sunshine. 

It was the cusp of dawn when Gene Anuk woke Gene up. "I am heading out." She said and smiled. "Cannot stay here too long." Vanishing from sight as Gene jumped up and ran outside in her PJ's. With a gentle wave of a hand, Anuk stood on the roof of the Yuki compound. The tassel with a red snowflake attached to her sword, Gaara on her back. Gene knew there was nothing to say, the others still asleep. 

She bowed to her cousin as a goodbye gesture, who did so in return. Her hands folded in front of her, the red hair glittering in the sun like rubies. 

Then she was gone. Anika of the Sand vanished unlike herself. Instead of a storm, she vanished soundlessly. 

"She is an amazing Warrior." Shisui said, behind Gene, he also still in his PJ's. "But she has too much honor for a Shinobi. Karura was her master and she will do anything to keep her promise to her." 

"That is who she is." Gene muttered silently. "Loyal to the extreme, she cares little about anything but her loyalty." 

"I noticed." Shisui shrugged his shoulders and put his Arm around Gene. "But she will be just fine, has the kind of character that will make her prized in the Land of Iron. More a Samurai than a Shinobi in all that matters." 

"You are probably right, let's go, maybe we have another jungle to chop, and I thought about it, that hill behind the Nara territory, we should buy it." Gene grinned. "Skiing, Snowboarding, Non and other stuff if I get my Kekkei Genkai right, even in summer, and it will improve control."

"That might actually help our financial situation, but far more important we need to do something about the Hyuga." He muttered. 

"Why so, I mean it is troublesome they have conflict with the Uchiha, but we are for now out of the shooting range of theirs. Although it's not so good considering the Uchiha are our biggest allies and I do not intend to change that anytime soon, I like your aunt, god's I hate politics." 

"You are not alone there." Shisui said, signing as he opened her the office door. 

Izayoi was there, sitting on his desk, scroll mountains in front of him as he looked at Gene with glittering Eyes. "Head this is amazing, utterly fantastic, the best thing ever. I want to be Hokage."

Silence spread in the room and the two looked at the boy in one of Sora's Nightgowns, the little girl sleeping on the floor, her head on papers. 

"What is going on here?" Gene asked, weirded out. 

"There is something called Fuijutsu, this stuff it utterly amazing." Izayoi literally jumped the room. "I wanna be Hokage, then I can raid the Konohas Archives all I want for whatever Fuijutsu I can find." 

"I am happy you like it, Izayoi, but did you stay awake all night?" Gene asked, and he nodded at her with excitement.,

"Yeah, this is cool. Totally awesome." he said, and seemed like his age for the first time ever since they met. "Uzumaki-dono would not mind teaching me, would she?"
