Chapter 86: II Chapter 41 – Revivals and choices

The Hokage office meeting room was stuffed to the rim with people, everyone having a rank and a name to themselves was present. From the respective Clan Leaders, to high ranking Jonin, to the representatives of the trading union, the Land of Fires Nobles, the Civilians of Konoha, even the representative of all Konohan Restaurants and Eateries was present. 

Minato, still bandaged but by now in better state than before, Kushina behind him glarig at everyone and everything that came even close to her husband on his right, Shikaku-san to his left along with Tsukiko who was standing on a chair dressed in yet another of her black Kimonos, this time embroidered with Koi Carps, Gene knew that one it was her favourite long sleeved one, with a snow-white obi and a short sword in it, she also wore five centimeters of geta and her hair was unlike usual pinned up with a metallic flower hair pin she knew to be rather sharp. 

Tsukiko was not the only one dressed to the Nines tough, everyone was, similar to a funeral despite it being a general grand meeting. The destruction it seemed now encouraged everyone to wear their riches and power as a shield in front of everyone. Even Gene herself had dressed up taking on Mikotos advice that clothes and looks were a weapon every woman should use if they possessed them, ignoring them for feminist or other reasons of personal dislike was an action of foolishness for Shinobi. A weapon give should always be used best and in the most appropriate way, and that included attending at meetings with the right dress-code to make the fitting expression. 

"I am sure everyone knows why we are here?", Minato asked and earned a series of agreements. 
Thus, Gene now too wore six centimeters of geta as well, a light blue Kimono with white snowflakes on it, her shoulder-length white hair pinned up and decorated, the Kimono had short sleeves and on her back she wore her arrow and her bow, all while flaunting her Konoha Shinobi badge on her neck letting everyone know she was someone. 
The sigils of both the Uchiha and of the Yuki on her back announcing her allegiance, as if standing right next to Shisui who was currently assistant head to the Uchiha was not enough. 

"After the Kyuubi attack we have almost rebuilt the Village, The Kyuubi itself has been sealed inside Gene... I still am unable to pronounce your name, Gene and my Son Naruto, we also made the gruesome discovery of a few children in an underground lab. We are here to discuss these topics."

"For any that matters what about that traitor inside the Uchiha it is possible for them to sabotage our entire village, and it is their negligence that caused the catastrophe!", One of the envoys from the City shouted and Minato clicked his tongue. 

"Would you still be alive? This is not the issue right now!", Minato interrupted. 

"But still We cannot accept the Uchiha to have that child as another power inside their clan!", the Hyuga representative shouted. "It will disrupt the balance inside the village!"

From there on chaos erupted and everyone shouted around, the only ones still silent were Minato, Shikaku-san, the Uchiha representatives ad Tsukiko. 
Suddenly a band was issued in the room, a crack appearing on the table before it broke apart and fell to the ground. Tsukiko was standing on her chair, her fist raised, smiling seemingly kindly at them while obviously dazzling some males present, while Mikoto-san took a breath.

"Exactly, is very much her own person she can decide to do whatever she wants, but are all of you serious about putting a barely twelve-year-old girl, no matter how intelligent and skilled she is, into this situation. She is a member of my family, my charge when everyone on this table refused to take in this child it was us to take her in, the same for Tsukiko, the only ones who accepted her were the Hatake, and now she is the assistant advisor of our Hokage, have you any shame!" She thundered and the room went quiet, none of the man and woman could object to Mikoto-sans words. She was right, back then when the issue had been talked about everyone had suspected her a spy or worse. "Now that they have become successful, you desire their abilities for your own, just because they are not natives and are orphans!" 

Mikoto-san huffed, eyeing the others that were standing around the broken table. 

I made my decision. 

"Thank you Mikoto-sama, but may I say something Ladies and Gentlemen." She looked at Minato. "I know keeping the balance inside the Village is important, I have decided to revive the Yuki, once I officially become an adult, until then I stay in the Uchiha, they have cared for me when no one else did as for those kids, the kids we rescued. My adulthood will be in three years, the kids will be taken under the banner of the Yuki." The meeting erupted into a mess again as Tsukiko growled. 

"Listen." 

Silence returned almost immediately. "The Yuki have no Power basis inside the Village, it will not impact the balance, it is a solution that I know will not cause troubles for any of you. That aside, I will also make Seiyu Hyuga my second inside the Yuki Clan, I already have agreement of his Family." 

Another discussion erupted inside the room, but Gene kept silent, No matter what the others said she was finished and would not even give the others give a chance to discuss this or try to change what she decides. Each of them was an experienced diplomat, she wasn't, they would turn her words, twist them to their advantage without her being able to refute so best it was left as it is. 

"Well." Minato clapped his hands, still sitting where he was in front of the broken Table. "Now that that has been dealed with, I'd like all of you to introduce you to our new Shinobi Elite Team while we are here."
