Chapter 107: 4 Months #5 Eros Brothers' Day Out

3 MONTHS SINCE MORPHEUS' PARTY, GRIM VERDICT ARRIVED IN ALFHEIM:

COREY'S POV:-

"What do you think we should buy for him?" Chase looks at me with a pondering face as he keeps his hand on his chin. He looks really troubled right now.

'Not that I am faring any better,' I think as a dry chuckle escapes my mouth and I too, ponder about it for a while. 

"PHAAAN... ICELOOSS" 

After walking for a little distance, I hear a call from my front which snaps me and Chase out of our thoughts. A wry smile forms on our face as we look at Miss Lilith running our way. Everyone turns at Lilith, then at us, before sighing and moving back to their work.

"Hehe, she is even more famous than us around here." Chase chuckles dryly as he looks at Lilith with a tired face.

"Infamous would be the right word, brother," I speak to Chase with the same tired face as he has.

"Hey! What are you both doing here? No fight today?" She asks curiously as she looks at us with a wide smile. 

'Haha.. we are in danger.' Both Chase and I make eye contact with each other before determination fills our eyes. It's a battle now. We both look at Lilith, then point behind her as we shout simultaneously, 

"Hey! What's that huge sack of coins doing over there?"

Lilith turns at that place with a fire in her eyes as she speaks, " where?!!?!"

And we run as fast as we can, as far away as possible from her. We ran without looking left or right. It wasn't important where, what was important is to escape her, yup, that was the most important thing, right now. After running for a few minutes continuously, we reach an unknown area and look at each other before looking back as we make sure she isn't following us.

"Haah... haah... looks like... we are safe.." I catch my breath as I huff a bit before speaking to Chase, who nods as he catches his breath too.

"But... where are we?" Chase speaks as he observes the surroundings. I look around for a few moments and then.

A door clicks open from one of the houses in that area, and a familiar face comes into our vision.

"Phan? Icelos? What are you both doing here?" Lucy asks us with a curious expression as she looks at us. I heard she is training a lot these days under a high-profile mage.

"Lilith." Answers Chase and a pitiful smile forms on Lucy's face as an understanding expression comes on her face.

"Hey, Miss Lucy, do you have any idea what brother would like?" I ask her as an idea comes to my mind.

"I would like to know that too, Phan." 

and it goes away with Lucy's answer.

"Why though?" She once again asks with a curious expression as she puts her finger on her chin and slightly tilts her head.

We both make a slightly complicated face before nodding at each other and speaking, 

"Actually…"

After talking with Lucy for a while, we move forward and reach where Kaneto and Leraye are resting. After pondering a bit more, we shook our heads as we knew they wouldn't be able to help us out with this.

We then move towards the Castle, to the last person who can help us out of this situation. After we entered the Castle we met Sir Bailey, whom we asked for help in order to meet Sir Zwain.

Hearing from Sir Bailey, we got to know that Sir Zwain will come after a few more hours, as he is doing some important work.

We then decided to wait till he comes back. In the meantime we walked around the Castle to see Istan and Lia training by themselves. 

They look really engrossed in their training so we didn't disturb them and we moved forward until

"To what do I owe the pleasure of meeting the Monster Brothers here?" The Elven Queen comes in front of us with a smile on her face.

We bow slightly as we pay respect to her before explaining the situation to her, at which she looks really interested. 

'Well, she got really interested after hearing brother's involvement, though.' I smile as I look at her.

After explaining everything to her, she ponders for a few moments before answering to us, 

"If you don't mind taking advice from this old lady, then I do have an idea that Morpheus might like."

We tilt our head curiously, waiting for her to continue her words. She looks at us with a chuckle before muttering, 'cute'. Then she tells us what to do, 

"So here is the thing…"

After we discussed everything with the Queen, we moved outside the castle and went to buy the required materials. After spending some time in the market, we finally reach Heaven's Library, where brother is supposed to be.

"Wait you guys, we are coming along too," I hear Lucy's voice, as we turn to find everyone from our party, as well as the Elf Branches and the King and his family.

Stupefied at this scene, everyone started murmuring to what was happening around, but then Lucy pushed us inside the Gate as we all moved in. Brother is supposed to be on one of the highest floors right now. 

Walking after a considerable distance, we finally reached the floor where brother was.

As we reached in, we saw brother studying the papers at breakneck speed. 

He then looks at us and stops before wondering what is happening around as we all look at each other than we shout, 

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MORPHEUS/BROTHER"

He looks at us with a smile before thanking us as he moves forward and speaks, "Happy birthday to you too, Icelos and Phantasos."

The other gets slightly stunned at this before shaking their head and congratulating us too.

We then take out the thing which the Queen suggested to us and present it to our brother as a gift.

He looks really shocked before a tear falls off his eyes, then he hugs us tightly as he keeps thanking us.

He then composes himself, as he asks, 

"How did you decide to give me this Sky Blue Feather?" He asks curiously and we then look at the Queen, who smiles at brother. Brother then smiles back at her and then everyone presents their gifts to brother, then asks us to wait till tomorrow for our gifts.

After the party is over, Brother then comes towards us and speaks with a bright smile, 

"Would you like to accept my gift, too?"
