After everyone moved out, I saw a sigh of relief on the faces of Lia and Istan. King Geralt looks at me as he asks, "Is that all you need?"
"I need a few more small things regarding my party that I need you to do." A smile forms on my face as I begin to explain the things…
…
The more I explain, the more ridicule forms on their faces. Looking at them, they look slightly perplexed by my demands. The King ponders over it for a few minutes before speaking,
"What does Alfheim get in return?"
"Smart! You know what to ask. To be simply honest, I will help 10 of your students for as long as I stay in this place. I will teach them whatever you want them to be taught, at least within a limit," I speak with a bright smile. Smart people don't quarrel, they look ahead.
"All right, but that last demand. It has to be her decision, not mine. If she doesn't want it to be done, I won't be helping you with that and if you force her in any way, then you will have to go through me," King Geralt speaks with an expressionless face as he relaxes back while closing his eyes for a few moments before sitting straight again as he focuses his eyes on me.
"All right. That's acceptable. I will leave now, send me someone in the evening to escort me to the Heaven's Library," I speak as I leave from there.
The King, Lia and Istan look at each other for a few moments before shrugging their shoulders and then looking back at me.
I look back at them before a smile forms on my face as I get out of the room. I look at my party, looking at me with curious expressions on their faces. Observing their curious expression, I shrugged my shoulders before signaling Zwain to show us our room.
Zwain nods, then takes us to our room, where a huge spacious room with 10 beds is present. There is a glass gate on the other side that has a balcony. Outside the balcony, the Heaven's Library is visible.
"Why ten?" Lilith asks as she looks that the number of beds and people in the room do not match.
A wry smile forms on my face as I understand the intentions behind this. Zwain sighs before he looks at Lilith and explains, "some people will sleep in this room, to 'take care' of you guys."
Lilith seems a bit dumbfounded before she speaks. "Do the Elves provide such hospitality to everyone?"
Everyone looks at her with slightly wide eyes before sighing and taking their own beds. Corey and Chase look excited as they run towards the balcony and make an awestruck face as they look at the Heaven's Library. Following them, I observe the town below. It is like what I have seen when we teleported here, except a much more defined and large circular symmetric town.
"BEAUTIFUL!!!" Lilith shouts, and Lucy smiles as she agrees with her. Looks like Lucy has finally adjusted to the behaviour of Lilith. Soon Kaneto and Leraye, along with Zwain, also join us. A few moments later a certain someone jumps on the Balcony as she looks at me.
"Been a while, Yavanna," I say as I look at her arriving in front of me. She looks at me curiously before speaking, "Just what do you want?"
"Something I believe I had needed for a long, long time. You seem to be the perfect person for that." I smile as I look at her. Taking a step towards her, I analyse her once again, like I did once in Eslaine. "Yup, you really are a perfect fit."
She looks at me with a perplexed yet confused look as her eyes slightly shake and her hands slowly reaching her bow and arrows. Looking at her getting ready to fight, the others also place their hands on their weapons. Lilith's smile deepens as she looks at the situation. She slightly tilts her head and takes a small step back to give everyone space to fight.
"All right, let's not fight. It's more of a choice than a forced reasoning. You can always step back, but at least try to do it for a few moments before opting to step back." I speak with a humble smile on my face as I look at her. She ponders over it before nodding and vanishing from there.
The others look at me curiously for answers. After a few moments of silence when they saw I would explain nothing, they moved back to their own work.
"We are going to stay here for 5-6 months at most. Use this time to the best you can, because the journey right after this will be mostly dangerous. We might need to fight at least a King level enemy once in every while." I look at the town and speak in a loud voice as I speak to them about the future we have to take on.
They look at me for a few moments before getting back to work on their own.
'I can't say it this early, but each one of you needs to be at least strong enough to defeat a King on our own by the end of this journey. Obviously, including Corey and Chase. If they can't even do that, I might have to leave them behind, for they will surely die and that will be the least of their problems.'
I then sigh as I look at the Heaven's Library, putting my hands on the railing of the balcony as I silently observe the town. I hear the voice of wind rustling against the trees, the voice of a bustling town and the voice of birds chirping, as my eyes get slightly tired and teary.
'Elain, just a little more. I will reach back to you at any moment. Just wait for me, wherever you are, however you are, I will be there.. Just a little bit more.'
