Chapter 94: Alfheim#4 Icelos V/S Phantasos

ZWAIN'S POV:-

I take Sir Aether's brothers to the High training ground located a bit farther from the Castle. Walking into the place through a small tunnel like a long entrance, I look at the two brothers who are looking at each other. I might be imagining, but there are sparks flying between their eyes. Their 'friendly' smile never left their faces though.

As we entered the place, a humongous stadium came in front of our eyes that stretched as far as we could see. Honestly, it's just the space magic that enlarges the already vast field we have, making it a perfect place to fight and test your abilities. Since Elves believe that their strength is the use of natural mana, we do not depend on machines or other sorts to increase our power.

'At least that's what most of the Elves do.'

Looking around, I see 2 people at some distance from us practising their mana control. Sensing me arriving in the area, they vanish from their location before arriving right in front of us.

"Zwain, it has been a while. Who are these humans?" says a brown-haired muscular Elf with a smile on his face. He observes the kids before his eyes sparkle as he speaks again with excitement, "Are you both really humans and not elfs? That's a lot of mana you got inside you…not wait, not even an Elf will have that much mana at that age. Zwain, who are these monsters? Where did you find them?" 

Zwain just smiles, speaking nothing. After observing for a while, the Elf laughs out loud,"Hahaha. Not gonna answer, eh? Well, since they are with you, I am going to trust you then. Hey kids, I am Bailey, the 2nd Branch of Alfheim. You can call me Bailey. I was going to leave from here, but it looks like something interesting is going to happen so I will stick by."

Icelos and Phantasos observe Sir Bailey for a few moments before sighing and muttering in sync, "Looks like Elf branch level is still far away."

Hearing that, not only I but Sir Bailey and the other Elf also made a dumbfounded expression before Sir Bailey started laughing out loud saying, "that's really an interesting thing to say. I pray that you actually do that. Having more reliable people will always be a good thing."

The other Elf looks curiously at the kids before speaking,"I am the 4th Branch of Alfheim, Cirdan. I will also wait here along with Bailey."

"My name is Icelos Somnus, and he is my brother, Phantasos Somnus. It is our pleasure to meet you," both the kids bow as Icelos makes their introduction. Looking at their proper etiquette, a smile forms on Bailey's and Cirdan's faces. 

Looking at the three Elf Branches talking with each other, the other Supreme Elves stopped their fights and looked in our direction with curiosity. 

Under the curious gaze of 10s of Supreme Elves and 3 Elf Branches, Icelos and Phantasos take their positions.

Silence prevails with only the sound of wind swirling around. After observing each other for a few seconds, Icelos begins first…

"[Aura Arts: One thousand steps of sorrow]" Icelos unleashes his Aura Arts, shocking everyone present at the venue. He then vanishes from his original position and arrives behind Phan. Hitting Phan with a kick, he then takes a few steps back as he observes that what he hit is just a clone image that vanished right in front of his eyes.

"[Aura Arts: Sense enhancement]" Icelos enhances his senses and stands there for a few seconds before taking out his wooden sword and positioning himself. 

"[Aura Arts: Air Blade]" Icelos then starts unleashing blades in each and every direction around him, creating a smoke screen around him.

Then, a forest arrives all around them that starts attacking Icelos from every direction. Icelos, however, smiles as he moves at high speed, jumping on the trees as he chops them down. As the trees are being chopped down, the speed of Icelos increases with every slash he is making. Observing the chopped pieces of the trees, they are releasing spores with each cut, but the spores are also being pushed away from the wind blades created by Icelos.

Icelos then jumps up above in the sky as he observes the forest down below him.

"Brother, my win this time," a voice comes from above Icelos, as Phantasos almost punches him on his face with a fist coated with highly concentrated Dark mana. A shocked expression comes on Icelos face as the punch almost hits his face then passes through the clone and nothing happens. Phantasos' eyes turn slightly shocked before a smile arrives on his face as he looks down below.

Observing the place where Phantasos is looking, Icelos has already concentrated a huge amount of magicules in his sword, "[Aura Arts: Slash of simplicity]"

He then creates a slash in the air that passes through a massive barrier made up of Light magicules before vanishing right a few distances away from Phantasos.

Phantasos stretches his fingers as he yawns before looking behind him in the air as he speaks, "The warm up is over brother. I am going to start for real now. Keep up with me."

The clones of Icelos, who are standing at the bottom, turn to dust slowly, and the real Icelos comes right before Phantasos with a wooden sword in his hand.

Icelos smiles back, "I know, my knots are unlocked too. Let's begin then."

Everyone looks at them dumbfoundedly. Bailey and Cirdan had their eyes wide open before someone started saying that they are bluffing, but turns silent as Bailey looks at them with slight anger before turning back at those kids.

'I knew that they were not normal but…to think they are this much of a monster.' I couldn't help but think like that as I recall the damages the clones of Icelos and Phantasos, which are supposed to carry less than 10% of the users' power, had done. 

But what is more ridiculous are the next words they spoke,

"[Domain of Light: Earendel's Blaze]" chants Phantasos with a smile on his face.

"[Aura Arts: Combination Arts: Winds Of Destruction]" Chants Icelos as if returning the greeting of Phantasos with a smile on his face.
