"Eh!?" I glanced at her in confusion as she nudged herself closer to me. "It's nothing special, but I would like to show you this special game is done." She whispered into my ear and I began to stare at her with increased confusion in my mind and health.
"The game we will be playing is…" She paused for a few moments adding to the confusion of the scene. "We will be playing?" "Rock paper scissors!" She cried out to my schok. 'I thought she was going to be rocking me into bed or something.' I thought to myself as my heart felt increasingly flustered.
"Do you know how to play rock paper scissors? If you don't I'll teach yo-" "Hey we're back." Thomas said as he walked back into the room with a short twig in his right hand. 'I'm pretty sure I had a stick that looked exactly like that… I can't exactly tell because all sticks look the same.' I thought to myself as the boys came into the room. Runa leapt off the bed and headed off to the door.
"Seres please keep a watchful eye over them. There is something I need to do right now." I nodded as she walked out of the room and into her room. "Phew. Now that she's gone I can show you my true skills! I will show you why I will become a knight!" Thomas proclaimed with a booming voice and his stick up in the air. He pointed up into the air as if he was a knight with a formidable sword. But he wasn't. He was just some cringy kid larping as a hero.
I chuckled slightly as a smile began to form on my face. "I'd like to see what you would have to present to me." He nodded before sighing and entering his posture. He stood tall and held the twig with both of his hands and kept his right foot in front of his left. He slashed to the left and as he did so he took a step forward.
He blinked before following his move up with a slash to the right followed by a downwards cut then an uppercut. 'I don't exactly know if this is something amazing… After all, I've never gotten into swordsmanship but I do kind of like that look in his eyes. Jill and to a lesser extent Jed had that passionate look in their eyes. A passion that burned inside of them and guided them to the next day despite the trials that they would come to face.' My grin widened as I watched him becoming increasingly motivated.
His slashes appeared to double in power becoming swifter and more adept. "I think I've reached my limit." Thomas said as he fell to the ground. "Is this good enough for you boss?" I nodded. "You've shown your skills off well and on top of that. That passion burning in your eyes is something I cannot forget." He smiled.
"I'm glad that you think that boss!" He added as a smile formed on his face. The other boys began to smile with him and that was when I remembered. "Oh right. Aren't the two of you also going to prove your skills to me?" The two boys glanced at me blankly before blinking. "Right!" The fatty bursted.
"I'm Eric Strasser and I am the son of a meat merchant and a school helper. My skills involve cooking and reading." He nodded before walking over to the pile of books that sat at the side of my desk. He sat comfortably into the chair as he got his grubby hands onto one of my books. "Mana is the cornerstone to civilization. It is a force that has kept civilization strong and civilized. It is a force that has advanced civilization by annihilating disease, increasing the convenience of living life. Mana is a force inherently not nature but it is a power that can be adapted to fit any need, any element. But unfortunately mana gets a bad reputation due to the fact that there are raging wizards killing people with magic."
Eric turned to me with a smile. "Was that good?" I smiled. "Yeah that's good. Also what book was that." He glanced back at the book before turning back to me. "The History of mana." I nodded. "I'll definitely have to check that book out later. It seems like a good read." I said as I began to yawn and leave the room.

"Where are you going?" The boys said as I entered the hallway. "We're going into the kitchen because you need to show me how well you can cook." I said as I glanced back at them. My azure eyes stared at the boy with glasses. 'Hopefully you won't run away this time.' I thought to myself before walking down the stairs with my minions following after me.

"It's been a while since I've cooked something." Eric said as he began shuffling through the shelves of the house. "Eric, what are you even looking for?" Asked his blonde friend that began placing his head on the shelves. "I'm looking for pork, lettuce and bread." Eric replied as his eyebrows began to slant. I watched the two boys shuffle around the kitchen for a few moments before Eric boomed with joy.
"Here it is! Who would've thought it would've been at the back of the shelf!" He said with a happy smile donning over his face. "Now that I have this, now it's time to cook!" Eric said with a smile growing onto his face as he got a pan and walked outside to where a small fireplace was. "Let's cook! Thomas, give me the pork!"
Thomas nodded and gave him the Pork and he placed the pork onto the pan. "Alright then I need the seasoning." Thomas stared blankly at him. "Dude you never asked for me to get seasoning…" "Don't worry I've got it." James said as he walked up to us with the spices in his hands. "Thanks James! You really helped us out with that!"
James smiled slightly before becoming a mob character again. 'I wonder what this meal is going to taste like…' I thought to myself as I watched the frying pan over the fire. Sizz. Sizz. Sizz. The pork began to sizzle and Eric poured the spices over the pork. "I think it would be good." He said after a while of flipping the pork.
I nodded as Thomas gave him the bread and the lettuce. "And here's a sandwich!" 'I never expected that I'd be eating a hamburger here…' I thought to myself as I stared blankly at the boys. "Here I go." I took a bit into the burger and felt a soft and juicy sensation taking over my throat. It was rushing down my throat like how a child would go down a water slide.
"That's good! It's really refreshing!" I screamed in shock at how good this burger was. "That's good to know. I plan on making a shop where I sell sandwiches like this." I glanced back at him and gave him a thumbs up. "I will support you in your dreams."
The other boys gave him thumbs ups as well as a smile filled our faces. "Thanks."
