Chapter 9: Crowd Control

As the doors opened up, what appeared in Drax's line of vision was hundreds of large triangle shaped buildings made purely out of ice. Each building was quite big with every building being over 100 feet (30.48 m) in both length and width, it was a wonder how a cave could hold such large houses, and hundreds of them at that. That was until Drax actually took notice of how big the cave was. (T-this place could fit thirty football fields inside of it!!! And what is with the height of this cave? It's over 400 feet (121.92 m) tall!!) Looking around with an expression of admiration, a thought suddenly flew into his mind.

              (Wait, caves on earth were made from water running through cracks in the cave walls, I wonder if it's the same for this world.) Moving forward slightly, Drax's pupils narrowed as he focused on the cave's walls. As far as he could tell, there wasn't any sign of stalactites or stalagmites hanging from the ceiling or floor, so that's a good clue that this wasn't made from water. But the biggest clue seemed to be from the walls themselves, they were much too smooth. Looking at the village inside the ice cave that was actually the size of a large city, Drax could only shake my head. 

              Never had Ihethought he would see a city built purely out of ice. Much less, the builders of said city actually being thousands upon thousands of fragile looking plants that could speak telepathically. Hearing a sound to his left, Drax had no time to think before his paw was grabbed by a small green vine that had grown out of Gale's body. *Come on, let me show you around.* Gale's voice entered his head as he was forcefully dragged into the city of plants. The closer he got to the large city, the more excited he got. 

              As they neared the first of the large buildings, multiple plants stopped what they were doing before turning their way. It was at this moment that his assumption was proven wrong. None of the plants spoke telepathically, or at least not in the same way. "Lady Kuro has returned." Hearing a should come from one of the plants that echoed off of the nearest buildings, Drax's mouth instantly dropped in shock. The plant just spoke out loud. 

              Not only that, the plant had no vocal cords, so it shouldn't have been able to speak. As his thoughts started to wander they were quickly silenced as the ground started to shake under his feet, Drax only had a moment to think (Crap) before they were surrounded by hundreds of Symbiote plants. 

"Lady Kuro has returned."

"Yay she's back!!!" 

"HEY MOVE OUT THE WAY, I TOLD DRAX THAT I WOULD SHOW HIM AROUND!." 

"She brought someone else with her."

 "Ooooooooo he's so cute." 

"Is it a he?"

 "I SAID MOVE!!" 

"You're right, could it be a she?" 

"Where did she find him or her?" 

"Didn't she say that she was going to get her son?"

 "MOVE ALREADY!!!"

"Oh, that must be him." 

"He's so cute." 

"I wonder if he'll end up being friends with my daughter, she's quite lonely."

 "DID YOU NOT HERE ME!!!!" 

"He looks just like Kuro doesn't he?"

"Yes he does, he's so cute."

" I wonder if this rock would fit up his ### and if so, what kind of face would he make?" 

              All the plants in the vicinity suddenly went silent as they all turned to stare at one plant in particular. Silence followed for a couple of seconds as a cough sounded, breaking the quiet atmosphere, before all the plants turned back towards Drax's group and once again started to chat excitedly. As the overly excited voices overlapped with each other, there was one in particular that decided to cut through all the rest.

 "MOVE OR I'LL BLOW EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU A NEW HOLE OUT OF YOUR REAR!!!!!" 

              Looking to his left, Drax could see a furious Gale that was currently gasping for breath as she surveyed all the plants that had currently gone silent. Grabbing his paw, Gale started to once more drag Drax farther inside the Symbiote plant village. The symbiote plants gave them a wide area of space as Gale cut through the sea of plants with ease. As they made it past the last of the symbiote plants, they once again crowded Kuro and her group before the loud overlapping of voices flowed throughout the area. "So what would you like to see first?" Speaking out loud instead of into his mind, Gale looked at Drax with her four petals wrapped around each other pointed strength up as the tops of each of the petals hung loosely to the side in what he could only guess must have been an expectant face. 

              Giving a sigh at the young plants antics, Drax shook his head before starting to seriously think about what this village might have that he might want to see. After all, this was a village that was run by plants, so, there must be quite a few things that he probably won't ever be able to see anywhere else. Thinking about it for a moment, an idea suddenly popped into his head. In his last life while he was still Drax the teenage human, there was one thing that he had always wanted to see that he never could thanks to his mom not having the time or money to drive him. "Actually there is one thing I'm curious about if you don't mind, that is." "What is it, tell me tell me." 

              Hearing the excited and cheerful voice in hus head, Drax couldn't help but smile as he answered. "You wouldn't happen to have an aquarium anywhere would you?" Gale looked at him confusedly before saying "What's an aquarium?" Remembering that he was on a planet that probably was run by magic and had monsters bigger than a sand shark as fish, Drax could only give out a long troubled sigh before answering. "An aquarium is like a large container of water that holds dozens of beautiful and cool water creatures that you look at for entertainment."

              Jumping up and down excitedly Gales voice once again bounced off the walls as she spoke with even more enthusiasm than before. "oh I know what you're talking about, come on, come on, it's this way to hurry." Being dragged once again by the small plant, Drax could only give a sigh at the ridiculousness of it. Although he could probably just take off his necklace, and she wouldn't be able to forcefully take him anywhere else, but then that would hurt her feelings and he didn't want to make her cry. So with a heavy heart, Drax was once again dragged to his next destination with a certain overly happy talking plant.
