Chapter 7: Ch. 7 – Silverwall

With all his might Rei tried to retaliate, but with a very weak body, Rei was able to be pinned down by Lilanna's henchmen immediately.

When he snarled and tried to break free, a blade was tucked on his neck and he growled deep to warn Erwyn, "Get away from me!"

 However, Lilanna's henchmen tightened his grip on the hilt of the sword even more.  Blood began to flow thinly on the skin of his neck.

"Try to do that again and I will behead you, right now!" The blade was going deeper and Rei could feel the blade already reach his veins, one wrong movement, Rei's could be beheaded instantly.

 "Stop!"  Lilanna ordered.

 Two of Lilanna's henchmen heed her order and bring Rei to his knees in front of her. When he looked at Lilanna's face up close, he couldn't help but be mesmerized by her beauty. Slender figures, cute face and exquisite jaw lines, fair white skin and long straight blonde hair.

Everything on her was truly a perfection that was made by seven heavens! She was indeed the most beautiful woman that Rei ever saw in his life. He was speechless and he didn't realize that he was looking at her face far too long.

 Plak!

 One hard slap landed on Rei's cheek and brought him to his senses.

 "How dare you! Eyeing Her Grace with such lusty eyes!" Erwyn snapped one more time and pulled Rei's hair.

 "That's enough, Erwyn. The sunfall is near,"

 "Yes, your Grace!"  Erwyn said as he lowered his head and put his right hand on his chest.

On the other hand, maybe Rei deserved that slap according to Elves' customs since the female Elf was really dignified, not to mention she has the high-elf noble bloodline.

 From Silas' memory, Rei understood the language of Ezeroth's world.  Likewise, Rei also acknowledges the Elves' complex customs and cultures and they were quite sophisticated and sometimes hard to follow what an elf was really thinking about.

Nevertheless, Rei was lucky enough to not get killed instantly by the Princess Lilanna'a henchmen.

 "Thank you for your benevolence," Rei bowed his head to express his gratitude and his apologize.

Princess Lilanna nodded and immediately averted her gaze when her eyes met his. Her face was blushed and the tip of her ears was reddened when she looked at Rei's handsome face and topless muscular torso. Seeing such a sight in front of her was enough to make her heart race and almost skipped a beat.

With her reddened face, she said;  "For second thought, Erwyn. I know you always bring spare clothes, give them to him,"

Erwyn tightened his jaw, he didn't want his spare tunic which was made by his wife to be worn by a Lycan. Especially Silas Carnielle.

 He immediately stepped forward and protested, "But he is a Lycan! Just a sliver of cold won't bother him at all, Your Grace."

 "I know, but he is just very... Unsightly. Do you dare present him to The Elder with such a horrendous state?"

 "No, Your Grace!"  Erwyn said.

 "Then do as I said!"

 Erwyn clicked his tongue and opened his bag.  Then he threw the tunic and leather pants in Rei's face.

 "Here, Get dressed!"

 "In front of her?"  Rei asked with a mischievous smile and stroked his silver hair.

 Erwyn immediately drew his spear and brandished it on Rei's eye.  "You!"

Rei snorted and grinned "Then let me change my clothes back there. I won't escaping, I promise,"

 Lilanna's two subordinates brought Rei away a bit.  The two of them let Rei change clothes in the bushes while the two wait for him awkwardly. Rei could have run away, but he was also curious about who The Elder was and why they wanted to meet him or rather, Silas Carnielle.

Only one thing that he could think and speculate about. Something big must be already set up in the background by great power in the Norden Sub-continent.

 After changing his clothes, Rei's hands were again tied with a rope.  However, this time Erwyn cast a spell to keep his captives from escaping.

 "Are we ready yet?"  Lilanna asked.

 "Yes, Your Grace."

 Lilanna nodded, then she wrote runes in the air and moved her hands in circular motion.  From her fingertips spark of light danced and formed ancient letters known only to the Elves.

 "Heimili!"

 After casting the spell, a portal the size of an adult opened with one swing of Lilanna's hand.

 "Wow!"  Once again Rei was astonished by the magic world of Ezeroth. He opened his eyes and jaw widely.

 Lilanna and one of her subordinates entered the portal, while Rei was still stunned by the colorful glow of the portal.

 Erwyn was getting more and more irritated, the Silas Carnielle he had always heard of was a tyrant, not the fool he was now in front of him.

 "Move your butts!"  Erwyn snapped by kicking Rei's butt.

 Although not too hard, the kick was strong enough to make him enter the portal. Rei groaned in pain as the bridge of his nose landed on the ground.  He tried to stand up while holding the pain in his nose.

"You fucking grass eater!"  cursed Rei as he gazed at Erwyn with full hostility.

 "What did you call me? You Carrion Eater!"

 Rei was very upset because of Erwyn's very rude behavior to him.  He turned around and kicked the dust towards Erwyn in return.

 "Eat this!"

 A lump of dirt flew into Erwyn's eyes, along with pebbles that hit his eyeballs.

 "I will kill you, and skin you alive in your wolf form, you damn Lycan!"  Erwyn was infuriated and lashed out his spear to Rei violently.

 Although both of Rei's hands were tied, his feet were still able to move freely.  With his superior agility Rei could evade Erwyn's spear with ease. Rei doesn't know what made Erwyn bullied and ridiculed him since they met each other.  Matter of fact, Erwyn's attack was not half assed, each attack was meant to kill him.

 Erwyn's power level as 3 Star Class Magus wasn't an easy feat for Rei to handle.  Couple of times, Rei was caught and took a heavy blow. Princess Lilanna, who had walked some distance ahead, looked back to the two who wrestled like a toddler, she shook her head at Erwyn who hated Lycan so much due to his bitter past.

 "Torky," Lilanna whispered to the tall man next to her.

 The man only nodded once and immediately understood what he had to do. With a single leap, Torky was already between Rei and Erwyn to break up their fight.

 Despite his thin hands, Torky managed to block attacks from both sides and swung both of them to the ground.

 "Torky! Don't interfere with me! I will give this damn dog a lesson!"

 "Princess' order, you can settle your hatred towards Lycans kin on Blödhren Víg."

 Erwyn withdrew his spear and walked away with an utterly disgusted look on Rei and said, "We will settle this in the Arena!"

 Rei smirked when he saw Erwyn walking like a dog with his tail between his legs.

 From Torky's movement and strength, Rei could guess that Torky was at least a 5 Star Class Magus.  No wonder Erwyn was so obedient when Torky warned him that he was still a 3 Star Class Magus.

 "Thanks for saving me from that mad bull!"

 Torky nodded and gestured with his finger for Rei to follow him.

 The trees are planted neatly to form a tunnel with thick leafy branches.  At the end of the tree's tunnel a bright light seemed to be waiting for the four of them.

 According to information from Silas Carnielle's memories while he was alive, Rei only knew the name of the very famous Elf city, Silverwall.

 Legend has it that Silverwall was a piece of heaven that fell on the continent of Ezeroth. Rei was slightly impressed by Silas Carnielle's general knowledge, although the majority of the knowledge in his memory was female's body part and booze.

When Rei almost reached the end of that tree tunnel, he squinted his eyes due to the extremely blinding light at the end.

 After Rei's eyes adjusted to the light, he couldn't believe what he was witnessing at all. Rei was amazed at the spectacular sight in front of him.  His eyes and mouth opened wide at the sight of the islands floating in the air.

Little did he know, he traveled through time and space via that portal and arrived at the very end of the Norden.
