“I’m surprised, to think you’re already level 6.”

The next day I reported to Philis with Hannah. Of course it wouldn’t normally go up this fast since when doing all that combat training my level only raised by 1. The slimepop worked very well as it only took about 30 minutes for both Hannah and I to reach level 6. Next is the practical lesson.

But before that, my status.

A top down explanation, Name would be who’s status it is. Race, refers to a person’s characteristics. I’m main character while Hannah is villager and Ciara is count. Job, for me it displays [hero] for Hannah [alchemist] and the level next to it is of course the jobs level. Thanks to Slimepop I’m level 6.

Next up is SUP, this is the amount of SUP gained on each level up. It says total because some job automatically distribute the points. For example out of 22p, 10p is automatically placed into your status while you can freely place 12p.

The [hero] clas doesn’t have a limit, but for [Berserker] it’s 20p. (STR +10 VIT+10) what this means is out of its 23p you can only freely distribute 3p.

It’s up to the person to decide if they prefer to choose themselves or to have it done automatically for them. Although there probably isn’t much of the latter.

[HP] it’s sort of like a barrier that catches monsters attacks. Once your [HP] runs out you can be seriously injured, so it’s best to not participate in the battle if your [HP] is low. [HP 30/30] The number on the right is the maximum HP, and the number on the left is the remaining HP.

[MP] is expended to use skills.

For [HP] and [MP] 1 SUP becomes 3p. Meaning for one SUP the maximum values raise by 3.

[STR] Attack power. Also governs jobs like [Blacksmith]

[VIT] Defense power. 20% is reflected in the maximum HP.

[INT] Magic power. 20% is reflected in maximum MP

[RES]: Magic resistance.

[AGI]: Speed increase. You move faster, your skills will be faster. Magic is activated quicker, etc.

""

[DEX] Dexterity. Controls precision. A required stat for some production jobs, and is reflected to the damage of some long-range combat jobs.

For the above jobs the SUP exchange rate is 1:1.

[SUP] Unassigned points, you can assign them to your status at will.

[SP] a system that allows you to gain/strengthen skills and magic in exchange for SP. In this world things like magic scrolls and orbs that allow anyone to do any magic don’t exist.

To gain something is 1 point and to strengthen it is 1 point. You can strengthen something up to 9 times spending a total of 10 points.

Finally, [skills / magic / unique skills],

[Skill] is basic physics, and is … magic. There is a lot that goes into these so I can’t explain them perfectly.

Every job has at least one unique skill, and multiple skills and magic. (Except [Berserker])

Of course this allows you to set yourself up in a way that you are most comfortable with. However the amount of SP is finite. Back in the day I used to spend hours debating on how to spend the SP points.

The only way to reset the spent SP is by changing jobs and starting over from scratch.

Now that my status has been confirmed Mrs. Philis will lead Hannah and I on a practical lesson into the dungeon today. As such I decided to allocate things that I’d kept on hold in my status.

“Zephyrus, can we talk?”

“Whats up? ”

Hannah had return from gathering weapons and armor and we were killing time until Mrs. Philis was ready.

“I wanted to talk to you about status point assignment, since you seem to know what you’re doing?”

“Oh that? Sure I’d be happy to give you some advice.”

“Huh? Oh, yeah, please?”

Hanna is an [Alchemist] a job that is said to be essential if you plan to start a guild. So I’ll be in trouble if I mess this up, so I have to do my best and give good advice. I’ll introduce Hannah to the strongest status possible!
