Mark gave a cursory glance at 'Quest 4' and got back to the topic.

"Now we can buy skills and equipments," He said. "But let's choose a divine spell for mom first." 

At his party's agreement, Mark showed Eleanor's status to everyone. Since he could access their status any time, he didn't need to get Eleanor's permission to show her status.

When Mark muttered 'Life' another screen appeared, listing 10 different divine spells of life domain. 

They patiently went through description of all ten spells, trying to find their pros and cons.

This went on for a few more minutes.

…"They are too rigid," Leona gave her final verdict with defeated expressions. 

As Mark had mentioned, most of the divine spells listed were amazing on their own. But they had too many restrictions. 

Some could be used in only special circumstances, while others could not be used at higher levels.

Since, Eleanor could choose only one spell after every level up, it was a necessity to choose spells which she could use even at later date. Which made the process even more complicated.

"It's fine, we have two more domains to search from," Catherine said, and Mark agreed. 

Fortunately, Eleanor had three different domains. Meaning she would have total of 30 spells to choose from at every level.

Otherwise, most of the people usually had only one domain, and they had to choose from only 10 spells. Which increased the necessity to settle for more rigid spells.

Mark muttered 'Light' and another 10 spells appeared. 

Unlike Life domain, whose spells were focused on healing, purification etc. Divine spells of light domain were mostly focused on attack and defense.

Which would have greatly helped them if their divinity cost would have been less absurd. 

Some required even 10,000 divine points for casting. Eleanor would have to level up 7 times, just to be able to use this divine spell, once. 

Though, not all spells cost that much for every cast, but unfortunately, they were rather useless, or were best to use in specific circumstances. Hence, they had no choice but to check last domain in hope.

Which was not true. Mark didn't know this because he had fewer interactions with divine classes, and he himself could not use divine spells. But, these lists of divine spells were not random. 

It could be understood simply by considering it as a game. Where getting some hidden achievement would allow you to use better spells. 

Basically, domain's 'will' always monitored its followers, and these lists of random divine spells were solely dependent on its observation of them. 

"But we will have to choose one spell, anyway," Mark said. "And I think the one Cat was excited about will be quite useful." He pointed at the 7th spell listed in Blessing domain.

7. Rapid regeneration: At the same level, by sacrificing 50% of your total Divine Points, you can increase a target's Energy regeneration by 100% for 24 hours. 

Conditions:

1. If the target is one level higher than you, then the target will get only 50% energy generation at the same cost. 

2. If you are one level higher than the target, then you will have to sacrifice only 25% of your total divine points to double the target's energy regeneration for 24 hours.

"But you told Cat that it will be useful for only practicing, and there are better divine spells, which functions similarly with even less cost," Leona reminded. 

"That's what I said," Mark agreed, "but this is the most useful spell among these thirty spells, and this list will not refresh until mom choses at least one spell from them." 

Since that was the case, no one objected anymore, and Eleanor chose 'Rapid Regeneration' as her first divine spell. 

Once that was done, everyone congratulate her. But their energy was little lacking. 

Which made sense, since Mark had woken them in the middle of the night, and now they must be drowsy. 

So, he told them to sleep for now, and they would plan their future actions tomorrow. These words were accepted with faces full of smiles. 

Mark took out few blankets and pillows from the 'inventory'. When he had decided to go for Plan B, he knew, he would need such things so he had already prepared them. 

Soon, they all went to sleep. No one was awake to keep watch because Mark had assured them, that 'array' would not let any beast come near them. Still they decided to keep watch from the next day just to be sure, but today, all of them were too tired and needed rest.

'Phew,' Mark took a sigh of relief.

For a second, Mark was really scared that the king would activate the city wide space array before he could escape with his family. 

He was glad that everything worked out.

'Now, what should I do?'

On earth, he had always prayed to reincarnate. He had even made a whole list of things he was going to do, after reincarnation.

Mark was not ashamed to admit that most of those things were just childish fantasies, he had read in trashy novels… But he had already decided to fulfill them.

The next day, Mark decided everyone's role, and bought skills and equipments for them. 

Though, they would need time to learn those skills and spells. 

Even in the game, there was a three months time skip, before heroes started clearing dungeons. 

It was because, even for a genuis, learning a single H-level skill might take anywhere between two weeks to four weeks, and this time further increased for higher level skills and spells. 

Fortunately, Mark had Eleanor, who used her divine spell 'Rapid Regeneration', daily on two people, which increased their energy regeneration and allowed them to practice more. 

That significantly reduced the time necessary to learn skills and spells for his party members, and just like that, a month passed.
