One Month Later
Humora Royal Palace
"So any news of Mark?" A handsome blonde man asked to six people sitting beside him. All seven of them were of different races, but one thing was common among them. They all wore some kind of crown or tiara.
Everyone shook their heads in denial at his question.
"How's that possible?" He murmured quietly, but those six people were no joke. Their perception was so high that they clearly heard him.
"I assure you, Kevin. None of us are hiding the human hero," an Elven beauty said, while looking directly in Kevin's brown eyes.
She looked a little different. she appeared a little hazy, like she was some kind of projection. That was the same for other five as well, only Kevin looked normal.
"And what would we get by hiding him, anyway?" She questioned. "Just like you, the best outcome for us will be the death of seven heroes."
Others also agreed with her.
"Amelia, I am sure you didn't hide him," Kevin assured her, then he clarified to others as well. "I was just wandering how did he leave? Because our diviners couldn't find anything. That's all."
"Well, that certainly is a mystery," a dwarf interjected. "But don't worry, we'll let you know as soon as we find him."
Others also promised the same.
"I am more worried about what would happen if we couldn't find him," a dark elf said, "we all know from the records, seven curses are must to seal anyone of demi-god level."
"But, what if we misunderstood?" A beautiful girl with blue hair said. She looked like a human female, but the approximately transparent gills on her neck clearly showed that she belonged to marine race. "What if the demon king is not demi-god in the first place? After all, Heroes have been choosen for weaker enemies in the past as well."
"That's true," a giant nodded. "But at that time our ancestors didn't have any way to deal with those enemies. Even though those enemies were not demi-gods, our ancestors were a lot weaker as well."
"He's right," a beautiful girl with white cat-ears agreed. "We can easily deal with anyone below demi-god level. So if heroes are chosen to defeat him, the demon-king must be a demi-god."
"If the demon king is indeed a demi-god," Amelia, the elven queen pondered. "Then what should we do in case, we couldn't find the human hero?"
"As Damien said, it will be impossible to seal the demon king without Mark," Kevin hesitated a little while looking at Damien, the dark elf. "So we don't have any option but to defeat the demon king together with six heroes."
They all had frown at Kevin's suggestion. They looked extremely displeased.
Though why wouldn't they be? They had planned to sacrifice seven heroes and enjoy the show, just like their ancestors did every time heroes were chosen.
After all, heroes and their party members could reach SSS-level. It was the highest level a mortal could reach.
These Monarchs didn't want such powerful people to be alive. That would be troublesome for them if it happened.
"Even if we fight alongside six heroes, there is no guarantee we would be able to defeat the demon king and his seven generals," Damien, the king of dark elves reminded. "No one could stand against demi-gods, we have already seen it in the 'Great War', thousands of years ago."

Their faces went grim at the mention of the 'Great-War', and there was only silence for a few seconds.
"Haah, it only goes to show that we need to find the human hero at any cost," Amelia sighed. "But we also need to prepare a plan B just in case."
"Then, I'll send all of my diviners of A-rank or above to search every corner of my territory," Kevin proposed.
Slowly, others agreed as well. It was not the time to look at the expenses. If they wanted to save themselves, they had to find the human hero at any cost.

... "Hence, they would send their diviners to search for us," at Mark's words, his family members went pale.
They had thought that they were safe inside this F-rank dungeon. But it was just a wishful thinking.
"Brother, if we are in such a big trouble then, why do you look so... calm?" Catherine asked, while playing with wooden wand in her hand.
Unlike a month ago, she was wearing a simple black colored magic robe. Which matched well with her silky black hair, and even highlited her ruby like eyes. Though the black robe was a little baggy, much to Mark's displeasure. It's because, the baggy magic robe obscured Catherine's slim figure, which had fat only on few but perfect places.
Her question made others notice Mark's expressions as well. Which made them a little calmer.
"It's because, I already knew no one could hide from seven Royal families in this world," Mark said, and smiled at his adorable little sister.
Just like Catherine, Mark was also wearing his new armor. Which looked like it was made of pure gold, and suited well with Mark's golden eyes.
At first glance it could be seen the armor would only highlight him in the battle, and increase his problems. ...But that's what Mark wanted in the first place.
It's because, no one awakened a tank like class in his party, so he decided to fill the role of tank, himself.
Catherine cutely tilted her head in question. If Mark already knew that they couldn't run away, wasn't it better to take chance and meet the king from the starting.
But after pondering on his words for few more seconds, she... froze, and Mark's smile widened at her expressions.
"Argh, can you stop playing riddles and tell us already!!" Leona couldn't watch it any longer, and said frustratingly.
Unsurprisingly, she was also wearing a full body steel armor. Though her armor looked a little lighter than Mark's, and it's steel didn't shine like his.
There were also two scabbards attached on her back, and two steel-colored handles could be seen on both ends of her shoulders.
"Okay, okay," Mark raised his hands in surrender. "Since I knew we can't hide from Royal families in this world, we simply have to hide in a different world."
"And how would we do that!!??" Unlike others, Leona didn't even show any shock at his declaration. She just wanted to know what did they have to do and be done with it.
"It's simple, really," Mark smiled. "We just have to steal a mirror from the treasury of this dungeon, and travel to its pocket dimension."
