Chapter 2: CH 1 – “Flash”back

"Hey Hayashi, thanks for inviting me over. These few weeks have really been rough," I say, entering her home before plopping myself onto the couch and turning on the TV.

"Of course I had to Takeji-kun! I had some free time and also... I wanted to see how my bestie while crossdressing again!" she says excitedly.

"Oi oi, don't act like I do this for fun. I'm only doing this because I have to," I retort, trying to shut down the topic.

"Aww... you're no fun. Still, you're really cute in that school uniform. "

Ghh... this hurts my pride as a man, but I'll accept it just this time. For anyone curious, the school uniform is exactly what'd you expect. a predominantly white shirt with dark blue collars that have white stripes running through them, a navy blue skirt that reached just above the knees, and to top it all off, black knee socks.

"Anyway, I got us something better than last time!" 

I turn to look at her with a confused expression.

Hayashi gives me a wide grin before going to the kitchen, piquing my curiosity even further. 

The sounds of the refrigerator opening and closing follow suit. 

As she re-enters the living room, I notice her holding something behind her back. Keeping her back to the wall, she moves closer before whipping it out in front of me.

My jaws slacken, eyes bulging as I read the label.

"Ehehehe! I bought this just for you!"

"Wha- I..."

Really?! She would spend so much just for me? Haaaahh, this girl, she must've spent her entire monthly salary on this. I'll have to get her something nice for her later, no use complaining about it now.

"Heheh, thanks then. Please pour me a glass, m'lady."

She giggles, grabbing a cup with a large ice cube sitting in the middle, pouring just enough for it not to overflow.

I bring the cup closer to my face. The fruity and woody aroma, as well as slight hint of caramel hit my nostrils. After a moment of basking in the smell, I take a sip.

"UWWOOOHHH!"

I exclaim as my taste buds send waves of pleasure to my brain. Most alcohol to me was always bitter and tasteless, and yet this had completely blown my perception out of the water. It was smoky, briny but all with a deep complexity that words couldn't serve justice. 

Hayashi then also takes a sip and, as expected, gives the same reaction.

We continue to chat and at some point, I decide to stop drinking before I waste myself. Hayashi has completely passed out, and her face is flushed. I carry her and tuck her into bed, tidying up before leaving soon after.
