Chapter 2: Chapter 1 : Two bodies, one mind

"...Huh?"

"Feyt? what's wrong?"

The woman let go of her hug and looked at my forehead, I somehow immediately assumed that she is my mom

"Does it hurt? You shouldn't play around the fields like that again okay?"

"Yes... mom?" I replied confused

"What's wrong, you've been looking confused all the time" said the man I assume is my dad

While it's true that I'm confused, it's not the fact that I reincarnated that confuses me. It's the fact that this scene, is also happening somewhere in front of me

"...Huh?"

"Carine, are you okay my dear?" said the man in a noble's suit, I believe he's my father for some reason

"You didn't hit your head too hard didn't you? I had the doctors check and they said not to worry, but if it hurts please tell mom okay?" The woman who I believe is my mother said at a rapid pace

"Yes... mom?"

"Looks like she's still dizzy, MAIDS, CALL THE DOCTORS IMMEDIATELY!" Shouted my father

"You don't have to scream that hard..." mother said while covering her ears

That scream made me jump, it was so loud it made the floors vibrate. But more importantly, there seems to be something weird going on here. I know that I am reincarnated, I watched too many shows that features it. The problem is that I have two bodies, one of a boy named "Feyt" and the other of a girl named "Carine". I have reincarnated into the both of them, and somehow controlling them both at the same time.

"Remember, just yell mom or dad if you feel sick and we'll be there, okay?"

Said both of my moms as they left.

I am now alone, or rather both me and me are alone. I am still confused about this, how did I get reincarnated into two separate bodies? Wait... Could it be because I saved both Luke and his girlfriend? Maybe this reincarnation was meant for Luke and his girlfriend, and I somehow managed to "steal" it by saving them from death. Well, I'm not sure if that's true or not, but it's the most likely theory I could come up with.

First, let's check the surroundings. In Feyt's vision, I see a small room, on my left is a small wooden window that doesn't use glass, rather just wooden doors. In front of me is a wooden door, nothing much to see here. And to my right there are 2 buckets, a big one full of water, and an small one with a towel inside it. The bed I'm currently on is small with a height around an adult man's knee. It's a small room that I somehow feel at home with despite being here for the first time. It might be because it's Feyt's room, and this body has grown accustomed to it.

In Carine's vision, it's not even a match... The room is so large it might as well be a house. The walls are decorated with various gold decoration, and on the ceiling, there's a chandelier. The wall to my right is full of large sized glass windows complete with curtains. To my left, I see a closet full of clothes, a table with a small mirror, and a drawer with a glass of water on top of it right beside my bed. I am currently in a canopy bed, it's so big it might fit a whole family. And also as same as Feyt, I feel at home here, like nothing's out of normal in this room, despite it being the most luxurious room I've ever been in my entire life (before being reincarnated, at least).

Now that I got my surroundings in check, I want to check something, my memories. Specifically, Feyt's and Carine's memories. I somehow feel like I recognize the people from before as my parents despite meeting them for the first time, and also how I feel at home in rooms I've never been in. So I try to remember things from these bodies perspective, and I managed to pull things up.

My name is Feyt, I am 12 years old. I'm a commoner so I don't have any surnames. I have a short blonde hair and blue eyes. My family consist of my parents, and my older sister "Fait". My whole family works as a farmer, we cultivate fields and harvest crops from morning to the afternoon, after that, I would play around the fields with Fait anytime she's home. Fait isn't home most of the time, she usually run errands across villages to earn extra money, while carrying some of our harvest to sell. Anytime that she is home, I would immediately run up towards her for a hug.

My name is Carine Sareid, I am 12 years old and I come from a prestigious noble family that is well known for it's unique sword style that it teaches. I have a black hair like my father, and green eyes like my mother. My family consist of me and my parents, I was the lone heir. Father and mother are always teaching the young nobles who chose our house as their training place their sword style. I always wanted to learn it too, but my parents always said that I was too young. But just by watching them teach and practice is enough to make me excited!

It seems that those were their memories before I got reincarnated. Did I reincarnated as them from birth and only remembered my previous life now? Or did I reincarnate as them just now? Well, no need to ponder on an unanswerable question now. Anyways, now that I know that the bodies still retains their original memories, time to try something else.

I tried moving around my body, it feels weird. I tried lifting my arms, both Feyt and Carina are lifting their arms. I tried saying "I love chocolate", and both of my bodies said it at the same time. I tried touching my forehead, I noticed a bump on both bodies. I tried remembering what the bumps were from.

For Feyt, it was because he smacked his head on a tree while running around the fields. As for Carine, it was a stray sword swing that hit her while she was watching her father teach, thankfully, it was only a practice sword. It would explain why my parents are worried.

Now I learned that I cannot control my bodies separately yet... That might be a problem
