Chapter 23: The root of evil

Today we are looking at the notes about the game that I made together with Marcio.

The reason? To make sure that nothing that could cause us harm has gone unnoticed.

"The monster invasion has already been solved, but we need to find a way not to let the quality of adventuring decrease." - Max 

The invasion is an initial event, as there are monsters everywhere, you had to eliminate them and increase the level until the dungeons are released. Inside the dungeons you can find more dangerous and high level monsters, but you can also find treasures.

Other initial events are: The failure of a rebellion, those in the shadows, a secret and a starry night.

Each of these is linked to one of the game modes that can be followed.

The failure of a rebellion, is an event where some nobles rebel against the king, but they did not have pure motives. The king, managed to stop the rebellion.

After he stops the rebellion, several fiefs are left without rulers, the king has the idea to lend these fiefs to nobles who have no fief, in the game this is the chance to rule a fief, if you can develop the fief, at the end of the academy it will be yours, but if the fief is a failure, you will lose your title of nobility.

Those in the Shadows is an event that speaks of the people who protect the kingdom and make it work, but they don't get much recognition.

The game lets you follow several professions in this event, you can be a farmer, a cook, a traveling merchant, an alchemist, you can even become a job or castle maid.

A secret, is actually a collection of small quests that are connected with each other, in the end you discover a criminal organization that wants to cause chaos throughout the world.

This is how you explain the dark story of the game.

One Starry Night is a ball where you can make contact with all the capture targets, and is where the love rivals are known, depending on your choices, this can make the capture level easier or harder.

Each event has a chance to meet the capture targets, only in the one starry night event is it possible to meet everyone.

The future events are connected with the initial events, solving the problem with the monsters and the organization, most of the events will be different or will simply not exist.

Something that is already different is the childhood of the crown prince and Max. We don't yet know the level of interference this had on the lives of the other capture targets.

"What can we do to not diminish the quality of the adventurers?" - Max

Although the adventurer's guild is not organized by the kingdom, the way a kingdom is governed influences the adventurers in that region.

Adventurers often protect people from the threats of monsters or provide the materials for those who make order.

Adventurers are connected with the economy and security, so the kingdom has a little power to interfere.

"What do you think about suggesting that to register as an adventurer you must go through a course first?" - Milena

"That's a good idea, however I don't know if every place will accept that."- Max

"What if we do this in our fiefdoms and present the result? If they want to follow good, if they don't want our part we did it" - Milena

We suggested it to our parents. They liked the idea, now that the monster invasions have been prevented, the money used to prepare and repair the damage done from the monster invasion, can be used to develop the fief.

Because of this they are thinking about how to use this money. Our idea made them think that maybe they could invest it in education.

The plan is to gather several people from different fields so that people can choose what they want to do.

We are getting in touch with craftsmen, blacksmiths, alchemists, carpenters, while they teach how to do the work in their fields. The guards will be responsible for the combat area to be taught.

Initially we plan something small, but we aim to expand it in the future.

Unlike the royal academy which is specifically for nobles, and commoners who have a lot of money.

About the organization, well, we already started hunting for it in our domains a while ago, we provided some information that we discovered to the kingdom.

Through the information gathered, the king is creating countermeasures for the organization and the nobles that are connected to them.

The organization is a criminal group known only by the name of the organization, their goal is only chaos, they don't have a base of operations, at least they are not known, so eliminating them is difficult, but it is possible to diminish their influence, as well as to sabotage a part of their plans.

In the game, after you go through all the events and solve their missions, because they are losing some of their power, they attack with full force with the objective of ending with the one who is destroying their plans and ironically, this attack is the chance to eliminate the organization once and for all.

"I don't think there's much to do about the story, the rest is involved with the lives of the capture targets" - Milena

"Yes, there is one event the other that has no connection with those, the case of the secret of the viscount monster" - Marcio

"Well, his secret is that he is half vampire" - Milena

"Apparently several are the nobles who have the blood of other species, it's a pity that only humans live in this part of the continent" - Marcio

"This is an event that the game didn't go into in depth, it seems like it was a spoiler for the continuation of the game, only with other species in between" - Milena

Many years ago, a war involving humans and non-humans, (races such as, vampires, giants, elves, dwarves and beastmen), at the end of the war the humans stayed on one continent and the non-humans on another.

Until today the reason for the war is a mystery, the continents communicate with each other, but the unification of the continents is something a bit complicated, some kingdoms and tribes, over time have become supremacists.

While coexistence in harmony is possible in some kingdoms, it is not very common. It is possible to see that some of those who live in the kingdom have ancestors of other races.

"I am looking forward to meeting a beast man." - Max

"You only want to see women with animal ears and cap" - Milena

"Not really" - Max

Because of Marcio's memories I am interested to see how their physical characteristics are different.

"If you want to see that much I can fantasize, I don't promise to be just like them but..." - Milena

That's not really what I was curious about, but the thought of having the chance to see Milena in costume made me want to see Milena in a costume.
