Chapter Twenty Nine
After chatting to Claire and the rest for a while, Gregory appeared, he waved while smiling at me. However I could also see someone else behind him, it was the school principal.
“So, James Wrathead, already at the point of killing people in school?” she said while looking down on me.
The atmosphere changed quickly.
Yes I had killed someone, a human, however, if I hadn’t killed him then Rose would have died.
I think that is a reason to excuse my actions.
Was I just trying to justify myself? Probably.
“Now, normally James, I would have you expelled from this school straight away.”
My heart froze when I heard this, it was like time had stopped, and not just for me. Almost everybody in the room faced towards the principal. “However, since you were doing it to save a student, and one of the most important people in this country, then I can only let it slide.”
One of the most important people in the country? What does she mean?
As I had a confused look on my face Rose giggled.
“James, I am the princess of this country, princess Rose.”
Huh?
Rose is the princess?
I was shocked, however now that you mention it, a couple of years ago I was going through the book about the current royal family of Selrone Kingdom, I pointed out Rose’s name, Clara did say that Rose had pinky rose hair and was around our age.
So all this time, I was talking to her?
That’s unthinkable, well should I treat her differently now? I have been completely out of my league this entire time.
“Rose I-“ she put her finger on my lip. “Although I’m the princess, I am here as a normal girl to learn so please treat me the way you were before.”
I sighed in relief, what a truly caring girl…
While I looked around, nobody else seemed to have a surprising look, had Rose told everyone before?
“As I was saying before James, killing someone is grounds for expulsion, however on the request of the princess, you will not incur any penalty, however, I must warn you. And anyone in this room for that matter, no matter what, you must keep the Princess’s identity a secret. She was sent here away from the royal palace to be educated like a normal girl and to be kept out of the power struggle that is happening now that the king’s health is deteriorating.
everybody nodded.
“Then how was she targeted, has someone already leaked her location?” I asked out of curiosity.
“Some nobles who were on my faction must have betrayed me.” Rose said depressingly. This was the first time I had seen Rose make such a face, it made my heart pain.
“However it won’t happen again, the school’s security will be thoroughly redesigned to stop anything like this from happening again, and to stop you from killing any more people.” The principal said before waving goodbye, and so did Gregory and a couple other people, leaving Me, Claire, Clara and Rose the only people in the room.

“James, I am truly thankful, ill definitely return this favor someday, if you ever need something, just ask me. I’ll do anything…” she said with a sincere and grateful tone.
After that Claire and Clara jumped on her hugged her.
We started chatting while I got out of bed. Although my stomach still hurt, I was still able to walk.
However while we were walking around outside talking, I was getting stared at by almost everyone, from the first year to the sixth year.
Had the news spread that quickly?
Although I didn't care that much about what people thought about me, I did get a bit annoyed while they stared at me. I just endured it while talking to the girls.
Since I was still injured slightly, I was able to skip two days more to heal up, incidentally, Claire, Clara, and Rose were given this time off to look after me as well. I felt like I could take care of myself, However, the girls were so adamant that I gave up and let them take care of me.
That didn’t mean that they could sleep in the boy’s dormitories, so I was given some alone time. I used this to reflect on my actions, especially the fact that I had somehow gone back to my old world.
Or was that just a dream? Why was I in the hospital though? Why was my sister there?
I don’t know.
However…
I’m glad I got to see her face, although I could never forget it in the first place, I was truly enduring not being able to see her all these years, I miss her so much.
Although I prefer this world to my old one, I don’t truly feel complete unless I’m in the same place as her.
Is there a way to somehow bring her here?
A thought clicked in my mind.
I got my clothes on, and although it was night, the school library was always open, just like a twenty-four-hour convenience store.
It was freezing outside and it somewhat chilled my still healing stomach.
“That stab wound left a mark” I blurted out while gritting my teeth and continuing forward.
Anyways, was there a reason I was going to the library at such a late time?
Well first was to not be seen by many people, I liked my alone time.
The second was because this library was one of the best and oldest in the world, with countless thousands of records, hundreds of records of the magic that, although their spells were written down, nobody could use. Was everyone after the great war of the continents genetically changed so that they could not even use the magic even though the spells for it were right in front of them? Or had the laws of this world changed entirely, allowing sword forms to exist?
I did not know, however, I had now found out my real goal, a goal besides revenge, a goal to keep me moving forward.
That goal was to bring my sister into this world.
At all costs...
