Chapter 30: Chapter Thirty- going out for dinner

Chapter Thirty

As I was in S class, I was able to go to the higher levels of the library, this allowed me to have access to more of the important areas of the library/

and when I got up to the floor, the lines and lines of endless books came into my gaze. It looked like i was walking into a infinitely generated magical castle. Furthermore each single book looked enchanted in a ancient and mysterious aura which i felt called out to me. saying "Pick me!"

and so I dived into the first book that caught my attention.

I don’t know how long I was there, however, when I stopped and looked outside, the sun was already coming up.

Although I had spent all night reading through these ancient texts, I had found very little about the act of summoning people from another world, it was a completely foreign idea. And the stuff that I had found was either too hard to decipher, or needed to use actual magic to summon the person. However, this was a start, if for some chance in the future I am able to use magic, I could bring my sister to this world.

Like last time, I had bags under my eyes, and when I walked out of the library. The librarian gave me a weird stare.

I met up with Claire, Clara, and Rose at the normal spot and we went to do our usual stuff, however after breakfast, since I was still on leave for today and tomorrow, we all decided to head down to the capital shops to look about. Well, it was mainly the girls doing whatever they want while I carried all their shopping bags.

“Hey Rose,” Clara said while pointing at some hats in a store. “Wouldn’t that look great on James!” she said while Claire also looked at the hat and her eyes sparkled.

the hat was a brown bowler hat, something that an old man in the nineteen seventies would wear.

“Fufu, why don’t we get him to try it on?” Rose responded while looking at me.

“Why was this happening to me,” I said while being dragged into the shop by Claire.

After a couple more hours of shopping, we decided to drop everything we bought off before going out for dinner. Overall the girls made me carry seven bags full of clothing.

the clothing included pink dresses, spotted skirts, stockings, and the best of all. Panties. tons of panties. However the girls had picked out clothes for me, but I didn't know what they got because they said it was for tonight.

Night in the city was stunning, since there was no pollution in this world (yet) the streets were clear and the bright moon could be seen shining on the entire capital. It was a perfect night to go to a restaurant for dinner.

After getting dressed, Claire, Rose, and Clara forced me into some clothes they picked out earlier for me and we headed to one of the recommended places that Steven had shown us before.

However I must say, the girls looked stunning.

Rose was in a a classic butterfly patterned red dress. While Claire was reading a red top and skirt with black stockings, which contrasted beautifully, Clara had the innocent spotted skirt on, which looked absolutely stunning. Looking at me who was in some of the more casual clothes, I became depressed.

When we got to the place, we went inside to the sounds of bristling life, countless people of all ages enjoying their food and drink, we got seated near the back and looked through the menu before ordering.

I got my favorite food, chicken curry. Claire got chicken soup, Clara got a beef stew and Rose got macaroni. Since we were only twelve we couldn’t buy alcohol, however, we got some orange juice instead.

It was a really enjoyable dinner, the atmosphere of the restaurant somehow made the food and drink even better, and we chatted for a while enjoying the random city folk getting up to the stage and drunkenly singing some classical songs.

Was this what it was like being a part of a group, hanging about with friends, and enjoying your youth?

If so, then this was a night I would not want to end, and I would remember forever.

However everything must, and after eating a couple more servings of food, I and Rose carried the sleepy Claire and Clara home. Since it was past seven, I could only bring them to the entrance of the girl’s dormitory, I had to leave the rest to Rose.

“Thank you for tonight James, I had an enjoyable time,” Rose said before smiling at me.

“No, I should be thanking you for taking care of me and helping those two girls. I hope you continue to be their friend, they look up to you.” I said while smiling back.

“Well, I feel like I have little sisters, which I have always wanted, so no matter what, ill take care of them, I just hope that you will take care of me.” She said while blushing slightly.

I was a bit stunned however I replied.

“Of course, no matter what ill always protect you three,” I said before realizing how embarrassing I just sounded.

“Well, it looks like I will have to get these girls to their beds, anyways thank you again for tonight, I'm happy that you enjoyed it. Now I’ll see you tomorrow, we still have one day left before we have to go back to school, alright goodnight,” Rose said while waving at me before bringing the still sleepy Claire and Rose inside.

“Goodnight,” I said while waving back before turning around to the boy’s dormitory.

However, although the sun had already set, I sat down on the bench that I went to the first night I arrived.

It’s only been a couple of days since I started school however, so much has happened, I have met so many people and experienced a lot already. I feel a part of something, like I am apart of a proper family, now all that is left is to bring my sister here.

After thinking over some stuff, I got up and headed back to my room before taking a bath and writing the experiences of today in my journal.

I was so tired, I even skipped out on my usual read and went straight to sleep.

“Ah well, I wonder what we are going to do tomorrow. I mean we could go through the capital again, however.” I sighed. “I guess ill just leave it to the girls, they are better than me at this kind of stuff.” And so I said before falling asleep.

However, when I woke up, I opened my eyes to see Claire looking at me, just staring at me. What’s going on? Who let her into my room?

“James! There’s a show on at the city center, hurry up and get ready!” she said before walking out of my door. I faced towards it and could faintly see Claire and Clara waiting for me outside, and I could also see that my room door lock, was broken.....

I sighed deeply.

I guess we were going down to the city center today…
