"Good morning mother, how are you doing today?", said Asvin, as soon as they reached where the beautiful middle-aged woman, and the adorable young girl were. He looked at his younger sister, Rosin, expecting her to come running to him, but that didn't happen.
'Ahh! Why do I always expect this, when I know it won't happen? I just hope these two new little sisters of mine will actually do so, or, you know, at the very least greet me!', thought Asvin, as he sighed.
His mother, Rania Cavias, smiled warmly at him, and started running toward him, which made Asvin crack a little smile, as he thought, 'I guess she's the little sister instead!'.
But, his mother stopped in her place, and her gaze finally shifted to notice the other three children that had come with her only son. Her eyes shined heavily, she hadn't met the Manos sisters before, since she was asleep when they came.
And after she was informed that another young boy would be coming today as well, she decided to wait to meet all three of them at the same time. Now, that she looked at them, her eyes sparkled. She gazed at the two little girls, one with short, blonde hair, Terria. And the other, with long, blonde hair, Sonia.
She then shifted her gaze, and took a look at the young boy beside them. He had short blonde hair, and looked very adorable. Though, compared to the two young girls, that had been bathed and cleaned.
This young boy was still dirty, with even some blood on his shirt. Her expression sadned for a bit, before she ran at full speed toward the three. Something that scared the three children a little, after all, she was running toward them, not sprinting.
Even Asvin could only sigh as he looked at his mother, 'Ahh! Father was right in stopping her with us, or, we might have become as stupid and childish as Theresia! Well, it is a shame he didn't do the same for Rosin, I wouldn't have minded that, really!'.
The middle-aged woman finally stopped when she reached the three, and hugged them with full force, bringing them all in her arms. Matthew just let it happen without resisting, the same thing was true for Terria.
But, Sonia on the other hand, hugged the beautiful middle-aged woman back. At this time, Rosin had made her way toward her big brother, Asvin, and proceeded to ask him the following, "Hmm! Who are these three with mother? And, wow! That boy there, he's, incredible, he's truly loved by the One Power!".
The Green Mage had taught little Rosin how to see the power floating about in the air, the reason she was able to see it now. As for Matthew, he also knew how to do so, from the Wizard that had passed by his village last month.
To learn any spell, of any kind, you would need to first learn how to see the One Power, the power that allowed magic to be utilized by anyone. only then, can you gather the amount of power needed, and then form it into whatever you desired.
Of course, to form it into fire, you needed to know how to do so first, you couldn't just imagine it, and then do it. That wasn't how magic worked here. You also needed to have an affinity with fire type magic, since everyone is born with a strong affinity toward a type, and two others with a weaker affinity.
Though, there are some, who could have all affinities, or more than three, it depended on the body. But, for most living beings, it was that they were born with only three. There were certain techniques to, either have more affinities, or change the order of importance of your affinity.
But, they were mostly lost with time, and the only ones left, were, unfortunately, demonic ways, as well as demonic acts. Only, with those kinds of methods, could someone increase his affinities. After you have the affinity for fire, or anything else for that matter, you could create a small fire with the One Power.
To do anything else with it, you would need to learn magical spells, of which, there were many. There was also another way, a harder one, and that was, to simply invent a new spell.
Asvin smiled at his little sister, as he responded with, "Yup! He truly is! Unfortunately, he will be leaving after lunch, as for the other two girls, well, they will be living with us from today onwards, and they will be your little sisters, so take good care of them, okay?".
Rosin's brows furrowed. She didn't know how to feel about this sudden news, after all, she had just gained two new sisters, little ones at that, and now, she even had to take care of them, that was just too much to ask of her.
Rosin looked at her older brother, as she pouted, and said, "Hmph! I don't want them, so, they won't be our sisters, right?". Asvin was just about to say something to her, when he heard a voice call out to him.

The voice belonged to the little girl called Sonia. She smiled and waved at him, as she said, "Vin! Vin! Please come!". Asvin immediately ignored his little sister before him, and ran up to where the cute, new little sister of his, was.
His mother had already released the three children from her embrace. And now, she was talking to Matthew about something. As Asvin reached the three of them, he noticed that his mother's shoulders were down, he instinctively knew what that meant.
In the next second, she stood up from her place, and turned around, her face dark, as it was covered by a demonic expression. Asvin heard the little boy called Matthew say, "Aunt Nia, you don't have to do anything, it's okay, I understand, so you don't have to trouble yourself!".
Rania, Asvin's mother, turned to look at the young boy there, and her expression eventually returned to normal. She then jumped at him again, and started hugging him as she said, "Waaw! What a cute surname, from now on, everyone will use it when calling me! Don't worry, little Matt, I will come visit every week, wait, that's alright with you, right?".
Matthew smiled, and he responded, "Yes! In fact, I would be very happy if you did aunt Nia! Also, I think you have a very beautiful name, and, well, I was just wondering, if you don't mind me asking, umm, are you still in your, umm, how do they say it again? I think, twenties? So?".
Asvin looked at Matthew. He smiled, and thought to himself, 'Hah! What a crafty little boy, of course she will be happy if you ask her that!'. As for Matthew, he also smiled, and looked at the middle-aged woman become happy even more.
He had used this trick many times during his entire life. In Ronia village, it had worked most of the time. He would even get out of trouble if he used it sometimes. The woman named Rania, smiled happily, as she replied.
"Ahm! No, actually, I am 32 this year already! But thank you so much, would you like some sweets? You two, too, can have some if you want!", she said, as she glanced at the two little girls who were with Rosin at the moment.
Terria, had made her way to the adorable looking little girl. She said to her, while she smiled, "You look very beautiful, I am so happy to have you as my older sister!". Rosin only looked at her with suspicion. She didn't know how to react to this.
'Hmm? What is this girl trying to do? Is she trying to get on my good side? Hmph! That won't happen, no one can!'. Still, what Sonia - Who had just gotten here - said next, shocked her.
"I think you will make for a great Magician! You will probably be as good as, umm, I don't know how he's called, but I think it is, umm, the... Grean... Mages? Hmm? I think I am wrong, well, whatever, i know that you can become a very strong Magician in the future! But, Matthew will still be better in the end!".
At first, Rosin felt very happy to hear the praise coming from the little girl who had just gotten there. But then, when she heard the last sentence she said, her expression changed, and her brows furrowed again.
She yelled at the little girl, and said, "What did you say? Who's this Matthew? Is it that guy there? He will definitely not become better than me! I met the Green Mage, and he personally told me that I will be as good and powerful as him in the future!".
Matthew smiled. He had heard what she just said, and so, clapped his hands together to get her attention. When he confirmed that little Rosin was looking at him, waiting, he said.
"Ahm! Nice to meet you! My name is Matthew, simply, Matthew! Don't forget it, since you will be hearing a lot about me in the future, and, well... I am not sure, but if you do your best, you might really become as good as the Green Mage!".
When little Rosin heard him, her expression brightened, and she was just about to say to him, that he also had the potential to reach, at the very least, her father's level, in terms of power. But, what she heard next, made her face darken with anger.
"Hah! But, that's all you will reach, as for me, well, I will be as strong... No, now that I think about it, probably stronger! Than the current strongest of the world! The Dark Crow himself! So, a measly Green Mage, won't even be able to breath in my presence!".
After he finished talking, he simply took the sweet from Rania's hand, and started munching on it. Leaving everyone else shocked, by how arrogant he was.
