Matthew didn't waste any time after he said goodbye to the four. Max and the other three boys left him to wrap up his stuff here, which, not surprising, he didn't have much of anything to wrap.

He had a small dagger that was gifted to him by Asvin on one occasion, during his first year here. Even though the heir to the Cavias family leadership knew that the workers in the orphanage wouldn't dare do anything to the then, seven-year-old.

He still didn't know what would happen to him, after all, the workers in the orphanage were known to often get themselves drunk, and then, either beat the children up, or abuse them, in "Other" ways. And so, Asvin had gifted him this little dagger to protect himself from anyone that dared try something on him.

Matthew now held it in his hand, as he laughed a little, 'Hah! Now, I can protect myself by my own!'. 'They won't be able to lay a hand on me, even the boss, who is known as the strongest in this orphanage, was just defeated by me in no time'.

'Still, those are normal humans, my real enemies will be very different from this'. Matthew had acquired a small bag to wrap his stuff inside by Robert after he got out of the boss's room.

He put the small, beautiful dagger inside it, then, looked at a beautiful shirt brought to him by Theresia as a gift. The shirt was yellow, and very well decorated, it fit those of high statue, even among the nobility. Yet, the only default of this thing, was that, it was still bigger than Matthew at the moment, he would probably need to wait another year before it fit him correctly.

Theresia laughed a lot when she found out that the shirt she had spent quite a bit of money on, turned out to be bigger than the person she bought it for. Her mother, Rania, reprimanded her for that, and said that she should have taken Matthew's measurements beforehand.

Aside from this beautiful shirt, which Matthew, of course, wrapped as well inside his small brown bag. There was one final item left, since Matthew really didn't have much of anything here.

This final item, was a staff, a red staff, to be more exact. This was gifted to him by little Rosin, it cost her quite a bit of allowance money, still, with her, and a little bit of help from the Manos sisters, she was able to buy this for Matthew.

This staff helped shorten the process of casting a spell, as well as gather around way more of the One Power, than a Magician could. Most of the greatest Magicians used a staff, though not all of them, since, someone like the Dark Crow, was known to use only his hands.

Matthew hadn't yet used the red staff, he was a little hesitant. But, it was also, because his magic tutor, the young Magician called Micheal, had told him, "Don't use it now, it will make you rely on it a lot, and that's a very bad thing to learn!".

And thus, Matthew still hadn't used it yet. He was going to use it sometime later, just not now. As for little Rosin, she wanted to learn magic, and start using a staff, like the Yellow Sun did, or sometimes, the Green Mage also did, but, as of now, they still weren't successful in convincing her father, the Fierce Lion, to let her become a Magician.

After Matthew finished wrapping everything up, he relaxed a bit on his stone bed, as he thought to himself, 'Hah! Now, I am leaving the orphanage, I will truly miss them all, but also, it will definitely be very weird to sleep on a soft bed from now on!'.

'Becoming a noble, han? Who could have thought? Dad, mom! I will not let you down, even though I am getting a new family, you will always be my real family, and you will also always be my dad, and mom, I promise I won't... forget about you, hah! It's not like I can, after all, my goal in life, is to avenge you!'.

With that, Matthew got up from his bed, and spent the rest of his time with his friends in the orphanage. He talked, laughed, and ate lunch with them. Until finally, Robert came to him, and said, "Your new father is here, please come with me, ahm! Sir Matthew!".

Robert, the man in normal clothing, felt very weird saying such words, but, Matthew had indeed just become a noble. Matthew turned to look at his friends, and said his final goodbyes to them, all of them responded with the same.

"Don't forget about your promise, and visit us!", said Max, the 16-year-old girl, as she smiled at him. Over these past two years, she had become very good friends with him, which was a little weird, since she was seven years older than him.

Matthew smiled, and nodded. Then, he left with Robert, carrying a small brown bag with him. After about a minute of walking, they finally got out of the orphanage. As they got out, Matthew was, once again, greeted by the familiar buildings in front of him, so many people were walking around.

Now, Matthew was very familiar with all this noise in the streets in front of him, even though he didn't get out much. He had already grown accustomed to the life in the city, compared to his life in the village. He, of course, preferred the calm life of a villager, but he also didn't hate seeing many people walking around in the city.

Still, even though he has lived inside the city of Coupitia for two years already, he still didn't know much about it. Outside the orphanage was a carriage waiting for him, and outside it, was a man who looked to be in his thirties, it was the same man that had come this morning to adopt him, his new father, Nero Ankston, and also the leader of the Ankston family.

The carriage was blue colored, and had a symbol of the family, just like the red carriage used by the members of the Cavias family. Though, it was also visible, that even though this carriage still looked good, and fit very well with a noble, it was visibly obvious that it was very much inferior to the Cavias family's carriage.

The symbol on it's side, was the emblem of the Ankston family, and that was, a black wolf's head. The emblem was striking, and among the many emblems Matthew had become familiar with over these past two years, this emblem stood out quite a lot.

After all, who didn't know about the Beast of Darkness, The One Eyed Black Wolf living inside the Cursed Forest near the Decartium kingdom. There were many legendary monsters in this world, but one of the scariest, and most know, was the One Eyed Black Wolf.

He's been around for close to 400 years now, some even believe that he has already died. But just around 100 years ago, he had appeared again. This beast, was so strong, that even people like the King's Power were scared of going against him.

This beast was compared to an Emperor like the Dragon Slayer when it came to power. And it was a known story that he had been defeated, as well as lost an eye, to the Champion of the kingdom. Aron the Great, who lived 400 years ago.

That was why, this emblem, depicting the Black Wolf's head, was very striking to Matthew, it only depicted the right side of the wolf, which made it hard for Matthew to figure out if this was indeed inspired by the Beast of Darkness or not.

Since the Black Wolf had his left eye blind, due to the contribution of Aron the Great, Matthew couldn't confirm if it really was him or not. This was why, Matthew found this particular family emblem quite striking, he intended to ask if it was inspired by the legendary beast or not.

The man called Nero, looked at Matthew, who was dressed neatly at the moment, but still looked like a normal commoner, or a lowly noble, and said, "Good! Let us ride home then!".

Matthew nodded, and got inside the carriage. After him, it was Nero's turn, and then the door was shut, and the horses in the front, according to the instructions of the man guiding them, started pulling the carriage around.

Matthew took one look at the orphanage behind him, then at Robert, he smiled at the man, and cast Fire Bolt, as if to threaten him again. The sight of that terrifying magic scared Robert, and he nodded as he understood what the small boy meant.

'Hah! How shameful is this? Me, a grown man, is forced to bow to the commands of this nine-year-old! Maybe wasting money on training him, was actually a very bad idea, since that only served to make him go against us, and even make us bow down to him, dammit! Even when I tried to stop it, just Dammit! I will have to seek some help, if it has to be from the Grey Dogs, then so be it!', thought Robert as he looked at the carriage leaving.
