I'm honestly impressed.

we've only spent two years in stopped time writing this novel and we're a little over half way done, I honestly have no idea where Yui is getting all these ideas from. We used our lives in the apocalypse, about how we survived and how much of a struggle it actually is, despite having these godlike powers we can still lose to some evolved patterns.

While she was write, Yui told me many things about novels, her favorites, how cliché some are and about how much she loved novels. I barely understood anything since I've never read one in my life, but it is quite calming and refreshing, to be somewhere without anything that can kill us.

Although Yui's time manipulation is definitely overpowered, in the future, most evolved patterns can move in stopped time, so she had to fight them using other abilities from her time manipulation, after all stopping time didn't really help her in a fight and just endangers every other awakened since it stops everything besides the evolved patterns.

Yui had been writing it for two years straight without stop, while I mostly just stayed by her side and reading it over her shoulder as she wrote it. She sometimes stops and take a break to hug and cuddle me for a bit before she resumed writing, it's sweet of her for doing that but it does surprise me because I'm not expecting it most of the times and I have no idea how she just appears from nowhere when I was wandering around.

I didn't stay with Yui all the time though. When I was super bored, I ventured out in the cities. Apparently Yui lives somewhere in Nagoya, which I think is pretty close to Nagano, I could only imagine how horrifying it must be living close to the place where the meteor struck.

Nevertheless, the city is very pretty, tall buildings everywhere, I found castle looking building that's surrounded by trees. I went into some buildings that had some sort of machine with a lot of colors, they look fun to use but sadly I can't use them since time is still stopped.

Honestly, I didn't think that when I agreed to help she would stay in stopped time for longer than a year. I did bring it up to her about why we had to be finished with the novel immediately "The longer it is out, the more popular it ill be and more known to the public" was her response, she muttered something about making physical copies once it gains enough traction, whatever she meant by that.

When the apocalypse first began, I had absolutely no idea what was happening since I was stuck in my 'room' all day, so I was very shocked to see dead bodies and monsters running towards me the first time I was outside in years. I was incredibly lucky because that's where I first met Yui, who saved my life.

"Wah!" I was startled and let out a short yelp. The reason was because I felt something tightly wrap around my body for a split second, before my entire body became warm. Quickly calming down since that was most certainly Yui.

I still can't fathom how strong her time manipulation is, stopping time again in already stopped time is something I would have never thought of doing if I had that ability.

Now that I think about it, our abilities had no effect on the meteor, even early on in the apocalypse a few awakened tested their powers on the meteor but it did absolutely nothing. If so, where is the meteor? If her time stop doesn't affect it then shouldn't it already strike Nagano a year ago, maybe it's too weak right now so we could still impact it or maybe it's supposed to or destined to hit earth on the fourth of October 2015.

The first one actually makes sense, it's like the evolved patterns in the future most of them are strong enough to withstand time stops effect. The latter doesn't make sense at all, who or what chose that date? Why that specific date?

I decided not to think much about it and continue to wander the city.

"So this says Sendai?" I muttered out loud and walked in the direction the sign was pointing towards.

I've now been walking around Japan for around two years now, which meant four years in stopped time and Yui should just be about finished with her novel.

I've visited and explored many places, to name a few are, a giant shrine looking place in Tokyo, a pink flower field with a beautiful view of a mountain in the background in Saitama, a theme park in Yokohama despite not being able to use or activate anything it was still interesting to see and a cool looking temple in Kawasaki.

It was honestly cool to see these for myself since in the future basically every place that Yui told me about was destroyed, so I now really understand why she was so interested and liked these sort of places.

I did try some of the food and drinks I saw on my walk around the city, It didn't matter if I just took something a random person had on their hands, if they aren't eating it then I am.

Finally arriving at Sendai, I wandered around in the city like I did in the past, snatching any type of food from the people I walk by.

I am back at Yui's mansion, right in front of the door to her room. I'm a bit nervous, this is the first time and longest we've ever been separated. Taking a deep breath, I grabbed the handle.

Before I could even turn the handle, I was suddenly laying down on a soft surface with Yui directly on top of me.

"Hey~" Yui whispered in a seductive tone, before I even had the chance to react she plunged her lips on mine.

It surprised me, I wasn't expecting her to react like this. I don't hate this thought. Before I even finished thinking, her tongue was suddenly in my mouth and roughly explored the inside.

I closed my eyes and moaned in pleasure, and just like that it stopped.

"Did that feel good?" Yui asked from my right. I open my eyes to see her sitting down beside me.

Flustered, I attempted quickly sat up. "It's fine, you can lie down" Although she said that, I couldn't even move because she stopped time for my body.

"My~ How naughty of you" She started and glared at me with dull red eyes.

"Although you did tell me that you would go out for a while" *Gulp* "Did you know how worried and angry I was when you didn't come back for two years!" she bellowed out and stared at me with a eerie smile.

"Oh well. Let's go to sleep!" She beamed with a strangely sunny aura, she lied down next to me and pulled me in close.

It took me a while to fall asleep that day.

"Ugh" I groaned a bit before I groggily sat up.

"Morning Rin, mind explaining this?"

"Explain what?" I questioned and turned my head to where she was pointing.
