The more I had to give up on it...

I looked at the mirror on the bathroom. White hair that turned pink. Deep pink eyes... crafted to my own preferences, but it was currently myself. I touched the reflection while sighing.

The power of sacrifice... To offer for something to grant your wishes. Was it for the one behind the Gacha? Was it simply the Gacha itself I was suppose to grant the sacrifices...

Once again it made clear to me a single truth.

I'm not like people in remnant... I didn't want to think I was special as such arrogance would easily lead to misery. I had already lived through it before and had no wish to lull myself in such weak hopes of success.

The fact however remained that gacha was real. With a single roll I could gain powers people usually only dreamed about.

A single instance of luck. What if I gained the powers of god?

Yet, would the gacha give out such rewards so easily? Time and time again it would whisper in my dreams of promises of easy strength... Leaving me on streets, starving. At such times it gave a skill related to stealing?

The other instance was at the ruins... at the thick of the most dangerous time since I came to Remnant it gave a power named sacrifice?
