I walked across the familiar shopping streets enjoying the gentle warmth of the sun and the feeling of the gentle wind hitting against my skin.

So...

Weiss was coming to Vale. Coco would help me finalize my weapon idea tomorrow. Mavis asked me to come to the VSE at some point to choose agent from the ones available on the company... but that was not busy.

...

I have 441 500 Lien... so no problem on that front.

I had some plans for the future, but they would take time and I didn't know how to accomplish them.

The most recent plan I had or rather desire... I want to get hold of the relic of knowledge. I had only one thing to ask about... What was the Gacha? Where did it come from? How does it work?

Well not like I die if I can't get it, but I'm curious? So it wouldn't hurt to try to plan something in the future for it... Was it in Atlas?

Then there are the Maidens too... can't say I'm interested in being one. Seems like a lot of yelling over nothing to me.

Also there is the bounty over my head... for the short term plan I should just be as cautious as I can and carry useful stuff on inventory or with me at all times. Such as the one time use Absolute shield skill card... even though it was one time use it could potentially save my life from otherwise deadly attack.

There is the Beacon too... It should be starting in the coming month according to Coco.

The other academies didn't attract me like Beacon did... I just hate the thought that I would need to go back to school.

Even if it's a combat school which could be incredible useful... It's not like I can ignore the events that would happen there next year either... or I could, but that seems a little bad in a way too. I don't want anything to happen to Coco...

It's not like I have to be there to influence the events? Not that the events would be influenced by just me trying to influence them... Ahhh... so complicated.

Why didn't I get yeeted into a Nisekoi or something... I don't know... Well nevermind, I can't do anything about it anyway.

For now... maybe I should get a present for Coco?

I imagined the brunette girl smiling charmingly at me while I slept on her lap... Yeah let's get her a present!

Next day.

Weiss had sent me a message saying she would arrive tomorrow morning and I better be there to welcome her or else...

No hugs? Maybe.

"See this? It's not really required to make it a physical structure to keep it in place. It is possible to utilize the dust crystals to make it attach itself, to the shaft of the spear with a controlling unit. It would need to be recharged however from time to time, which could be a problem on a longer missions..."  The girl currently speaking, swept a golden brown lock behind her ear. She was pointing at a drawing of a combination of a spear, battle axe and a shield I had drawn on my free time... which I had a lot, currently.

"So it would be best to make a rotating locking mechanism, to keep the axe shield locked on the spear?" I was sitting currently beside Coco. We were both in a fashionable coffee lounge shop. We both had steaming cups and were sitting on comfortable leather sofas with low wooden table in front of us with one of the more complete drawings in front of us.

"... It would be best to use the least amount of dust for the working mechanism and focus the dust usage to make the weapon more powerful... how about we make you a cute pink minigun just like mine instead. It would be great?" At Coco's suggestion I gave her an amused look.

"As amusing as it would be, I like spears." I spoke simply.

"I didn't hear no?" Coco grinned at my words.

I looked at the grinning girl wearing black sunglasses indoors again... you are bad influence to me you know?

"Because I didn't say no?" I took a sip of my coffee. The smell of coffee really was divine...

Coco took the drawing from the table and turned it around. "You have really went all the way with the design. I approve."

I hummed as an reply.

The Silver Lily set was really cool! I had tested it out as soon as I had went back to the hotel. Being influenced by the battle dress I changed the overall design of the weapon I was making... for decoration at least. I had changed the appearance of the halberd to match the appearance of Silver Lily.

"This will take some time to make you know?" Coco spoke while pointing at all the over the top decorations I had drawn.

Well who made it that awesome needs some work sometimes.

"You will need to take some of this things out for it to be functional Prim." Coco looked at me with lukewarm smile... Hey! I know that... now.

"Yea yea... Haahhh..." I took another sip of coffee to calm myself down.

Coco was having cocoa... There was a joke somewhere between, but I thought it was cute so it's okay.

"Oh yeah!" I suddenly remembered the present I had bought for my good friend.

Coco looked at me puzzled as I gave a small white box to the girl.

"This is?" Coco looked at the beautiful white box with golden letters for a shop name.

"A present." I spoke simply while holding the hot cup of coffee on my hand. I leaned back while crossing my legs to give my full attention to the girl... *Sound of drinking* yes.

Coco opened the box to reveal a simple golden hand chain bracelet with a small half of a broken dog tag hanging on it. "Part, I, Cri..." The brunette spoke aloud the text written on the dog tag.

I smirked seeing the girl lower her Sunglasses to give me a look.

"And it needs this." I lifted my jean jackets sleeve to show another identical golden chain bracelet. I brought my hand next to the other bracelet making the two dog tags come together.

'Partners In Crime' It seemed good enough idea for a gift in my mind.

"You don't have to wear it, but I want you to have it, okay?" I tilted my head seeing the girl hold the bracelet close to her eyes. As if she wanted to burn it into her memories.

"I like it... thank you Prim." Coco seemed a little out of character today. Not that I mind. I took another sip of coffee. I'm glad Coco didn't hate it.

I was never that good with giving presents. So much though put into a perfect present the other will probably not even like... sad.

"If you think buttering me up will get you out of this you are wrong." Coco tried to sound serious... But, this is kinda for me too? You are the one helping me even now.

"As I was saying previously the best way to lock the shield to shaft should be using a locking mechanism with an aura releasable lock and aura signal receiver. It can be tuned for your own aura and the receivers are sold ready made. They are a little expensive, but I believe it would be for the best..." Coco pointed at different points of the spear to show where the different parts would be located at.

I breathed in, while smelling the coffee. I looked at the girl trying to teach various things for me. I felt the corner of my mouth lifting as the brunette seemed to be playing with the bracelet on her wrist unconsciously.

...

..

.

Well she didn't seem to hate it? Maybe I should buy more gifts for people in future...
