Elor just watched the facial changes of the boy before him. If that shitty system just didn't tell him to not force people. How awesome that would be!
After several seconds did the boy finally say something which made Elor smile like a maniac.
"Is there any problem with your sects..test? Like, getting killed or being crippled?" Luor didn't know what kind of test it would be, especially because the beggar..no Immortal before him said that the standard test methods were bad. What if he were just thrown into the wilderness? He read some novels were there were many crazy experts who did that for fun!
What he experienced with this person all pointed towards that! Playing beggar? Looking down on the world? A crazy smile? A cold shudder overcame him!
Elor saw the change of the boy before him and was angsty. What if he didn't want to? A quick thought later he had an idea.
"Well, the test wouldn't be too hard for you. It would depend on what you are choosing. How about this, I will give you the gourd as compensation if you don't make it? As for being killed or crippled? That would be hard from reading I guess?"
Reading? As a test? He didn't want to become a scholar. Before he could even make sense of what happend did he saw Par walking forward before dropping down to her knees.
"This lowly one thanks your lordship. In this lifetime I will not go east if you tell me to go west!"
Some people began to chatter around them, Par didn't talk quietly. She almost yelled. Luor was once again dumbstruck. Grandma Par? What he saw when she lifted her head made him open his mouth wide and letting out weird sounds.
The same clothes, and look but why. Why did she seem younger?
"If it weren't for this boy here I wouldn't have given you this opportunity.if you want to climb back to your former cultivation you still have to overcome the poison in your body."
Elor knew from the beginning that something was wrong with her when he was listening to them beside the carriage.
Somebody with a Soul Forging realm cultivation as protector? With such an age? He scannend her as he saw her again. Elor instantly understood what was wrong.
She couldn't form her soul core. As for why. He didn't need to ask, it was a simple answer. That was why he gave her an opportunity. To be bound and imprisoned..he knew what that felt like.
Par walked behind Luor and silently stood behind him. She didn't know how her young master knew that this beggar actually wasn't one. She was just happy to have gotten new, no her old, dreams.
"Now boy, what do you say? Accept or deny. It's on you." If the boy still would say no he would just go to another city. What else should he do to convince him?
Luor was silent for a moment before nodding his head. "If you really can help me, I would gladly call you master!"
Elor was contend with that answer. His eyes scanned the crowd who formed because of the antics from Par and stayed at a girl.
"What about you? Want to learn calligraphy? Don't tell me you want to buy the sign hahahaha."

Inside the crowd was Nadia. After she got 'thrown' out of the testing grounds she wandered the city without an aim.
What should she do? Her mother was working in fabric shop which let her family earn a little bit of money. Her father was dead and her grandparents weren't around since she could remember.
She also got a little brother who was nearing the age of cultivating. How would her mother be able to pay for both of them? That was why she insisted to take part in the Phoenix Sect recruitment. Who knew that such a thing would happen.
As she came to the marketplace did Nadia see a crowd at a corner of it. Fat first was she not interested in what were going on. Untill she realized that, wasn't that the spot where the beggar with the sign was?
She drew nearer and pushed her way to the second row of onlookers. She was there to see when the boy before the beggar bowed to him and wanted to accept him as master. What made her shocked was when the beggar actually looked into her eyes and asked her a question. How did he know that she was interested in the sign?
Begore she could answer did the beggar stand up and the sign he had beaid him vanished with a wave of his hand.
The onlookers were astonished and some became greedy. A space ring, this beggar probably had a space ring! A thing which only big sects, clans and nobles had.
Before those filled with greed could move did Par snort and release some of her aura. Soul Forging realm experts may be nothing more than ants to Elor but the people in the crowd were mostly in Energy Storing and Body Forging realm.
Elor didn't care about those greedy humans. Who said he had a space ring? He just stashed it away into his soul core. He walked towards Nadia and just smiled at her.
"I offer you the same as him. Come with me if you want to walk the road above others! You still have to be tested though." Elor was laughing inside him.
Testing those two? What a joke! He will accepted even if they were dumb! Not only would he get two disciples who could reach the Divine realm. He would also be a step closer to fullfill that stupid mission. He had an inkling that the map of the world would show him something.
When he used his sense towards the Forlorn Continent, he was obstructed a little bit. That wasn't something which should have happend. He wasn't as interested in the reason of that as to search it.
Nadia was torn inside. One one side it was her voice telling no, it was a beggar! On the other hand couldn't she believe that a beggar would have a space ring. Also the duo before him, she knew the sign of the Dion family.
"I would be glad to accept the test." After a moment of thinking did she agree. What was there to lose?
"Good let's get going. I also have to beat some respect into two eels." Elor told them not to ascend yet but they didn't listen. Well, let's accept that the Dragon gate wast their punishment for not listening to him.
While the crowd was still murmuring by everything what happend came the next shock. The four people just vanished!
Some of the onlookers became frightend while others began to take out communication talismans. Even if they wanted to find out what happend, they would never even began to guesst that Elor just warped his little group into his build on the Forlorn Continent.
