There weren't many things in Elors souls space yet. A planet, a moon and a star.
On the planet was slowly life beginning to form. Some fishes and wild animals. There weren't any living beings cultivating yet though.
On a shore was Elor in his human form slowly grilling some fishes. Beside him lay the patched up beastkin child.
"It is already over half a day that she's sleeping. Seems she had it rough. Well whatever, I've got time." Elor ate some of his grilled fishes and was very contend. He may not have any spices but even some pro chefs wouldn' be able to make them as tasty as him with their equipment.
When he was taking the last fish from the fire he saw movement from beside him. Sighed to himself he stretched out his arm holding the fish on the stick.
"Here...you're probably hungry. We can talk afterwards." When the fish wasn't taken he became confused. Did she think he didn't hear her belly growl?
When he gazed at her did she flinch and tried to stand up to flee. Sadly for her did she run out of energie a long time ago. If it wasn't for her cultivation she would have long been crippled.
"What is wrong with you? It's not like I would eat you...ohh is it the form?" With a thought of his did is old dragon hybrid form come into being again.
The little beastkin was astonished. "What- who are you? Where am I, where are those lionkins?" As if a switch was pulled did she began to spit rapidfire sentences.
"Woah there calm down. Eat first, speak later. As for your questions.. you are safe here. Just relax." He stood up and sticked the fish on the branch into the sand beside her and walked towards the water.
He didn't have to walk for before he heard chewing sounds.
"Haaa children, so easy." He sighed and catched some fishes before returning to the fire. He saw the little beastkin smiling to herself until he came back. A wary look was now on her face.
"....You... Look, I don't have any clue why they chased you or what you've done. I don't even care. Also, you don't think I would feed you to just eat you afterwards, right?" He made a chopping and grabbing motiin towards the forest before several branches flew out into his hands.
He began to prepare the fishes, sticked them on the wood and put them above the fire. It was quiet for a minute before the child began to talk.
"M-my name is Aura, I thank you for saving me." It was said quietly but Elor heard it anyway.
"Ohh you want to talk now? You do it so eloquent too! My name is Elor. So could you tell my why the dragon tribe would hunt hybrids of theirs?" Wasn't that like shooting your own foot? In his memories there were many hybrids who were tribe leaders in the Upper World.
"You..Grandpa...Mister Elor really doesn't know?" When Elor heard her talk was he happy to not be drinking anything. Grandpa? Mister? Well.. it wasn't bad to be called grandpa though, family eh? He slowly began to like this little bundle of manner.
"Ehm, you can call me grandpa..if you want to..no, I don't. I am, I think I am human? I don't know that either. I am on the Beast Continent to look for an elder for my sect." Elor blushed a little when he said the first sentence. How embaressing to say!
"Ehh..It's true that you smell like human in your other..form? But Grandpa smells like a dragon in this one. It is weird. Ohh I'm sorry! The dragon tribes hunted their hybrids because the one who now rules them thought that hybrids were a stain on their honor. Dragons should be pure blooded or something alike." It was an extreme. First she didn't want to talk but now she was almost saying three paragraphs!
Elor smiled when he heard that, not because of the bloodline thing, no he didn't care. He even found it stupid. Hehehe Grandpa. He took a fish and gave it to the little Aura, which took it after several seconds from his hands.
"Mhm, I see. Arrogance on the Beast Continent. Greed on the Dragon Continent. I was lucky to be on the Forlorn Continent." When Aura heard him talk did her eyes widend.
"Grandpa is from the Forlorn Continent? Do you know uncle and aunt in this case? Two mighty storm dragons which even the Union elders have to be respectfull to?" This time it was Elor's turn to be dumbfounded, uncle and aunt? Storm dragons? Those two eels? Why would she be their niece?!
"Now that is one..hard to digest thing. You are the niece of those two eels? Yes, they are my sect guardians. How do you know them?" If she really was their niece, he would have to help her. He didn't want to say to those two that he meet this little girl and just cast her aside.

Aura was fidgeting at first before breathing in hevaily.
"Grandpa! Please help me! My mother..sob..father...sob they..they.." With every sob that Elor heard did his heart grew heavier. Goddam I jinxed myself!
"Calm down my little grandchild! This old man will help you but please stop crying, please! Tell me what happend." It wasn't know why he had a bit of anger in his heart when he heard her sobs. Maybe because she was a little child or maybe because he really liked her already. Children can rule the world if they knew how. Like cats.
Aura stopped crying after a minute and began to tell her tale. She talked about her parents. Why they were ourcasted and hunted. Why there were many tribes who didn't like each other.
The thing he was most surprised at was how she knew those two eels. She didn't know them herself. Her father knew them. Well that wasn't right either.
"As for uncle and aunt. Father told me about them. When he was younger he did go on an expedition to the Forlorn Continent. There they met two storm dragons. My aunt was in labor and they wanted to use this chance to kill them. My father was the one to help them through it. He said that the stronger ones of the Forlorn Continent made a pact with the expedition to slay them. After my father help them kill all of them did they make a blood pact.. when we were attacked did he tell mo to go to the Forlorn Continent and look for them! Grandpa please, help me!"
Elor was hard in thoughts. The two eels at hem were probably thw children of the blood siblings of her father. That made sense and gave many questions.
How was the Forlorn Continent so weak in comparison to others? They all died. Where were the parents of those two? He had to ask them when he got back. Suddenly did a thought came to his mind.
"Little Aura, your father and mother. What realm are they in?" He had a pal and if it worked. He could finally make the system eat its own medicine!
Aura was silent for a moment, lost in thoughts. "I think? Mother is only in the Transformation realm as she was badly wounded. Father is a expert in the Ascencion realm and..and..I'm sorry Grandpa..sob..there is no chance wuhuuu..."
When little Aura began to cry again was Elor already onto something with a happy smile.
"Yoo system..would that cou-"
"Host, this is the only time. Not because this one is sad for the girl though.." When he heard that voice once again did he slowly began to understand that it too was a living being. As for asking it anything? Most of the times it didn't even care to answer.
Aura was still crying when her head was pet. When she looked up she saw her new grandpa with a wide smile and stretching out a fish to her.
"Little girl. You underestimate your grandpa! If you want rain, you will have rain. If you want sunshine, this old man will make it shine! Eat up. You tell me the dirwction to that liontribe and leave the rest to me!"
Aura didn't know why but the feeling she got from him was one of peace. She took the fish and wolfed it down within seconds.
"Let's go grandpa! We have to go in this...where are we?"
Elor began to laugh before teleporting them back to the place they met. His mind was on two things.
He outplayed the system, will get three new members for his sect and probably fullfill the mission and can go on a rampage a little bit!
