Aurianna opened her eyes to see that she was back in her room which she was in before her training and it was still daytime.

“I wonder how long I was gone for,” Aurianna glanced up, seeing Eva standing above her, floating in the air.

“How was it?” Eva asked with a smile. Aurianna could tell it was forced through, simply a formality.

“I have no doubt you know already,” Aurianna said in a flat tone.

Her voice was devoid of life and the previous vigor she had left with.

Those 300+ years of fighting wore her down. The light that once shone in her eyes was gone now.

Eva chuckled, “I do know. It’s only right you suffered so much after being foolish for so long,” she had a smug expression. her depressed demeanor and silence as a response.

“Now then,” She clapped cheerily, “about those skill points. How many do you have left?”

"Umm zero," Aurianna said as she avoided Eva's gaze.

"You….Fool!" Eva yelled. Aurianna slightly flinched back.

She looked at Eva as she sighed before slowly raising her hand in the air. Aurianna looked at her in confusion until she brought down her hand, smacking her head hard.

"Ouch," Aurianna yelped.

She covered her head as it throbbed in pain.

Eva’s forehead was wrinkled, clenching her fists, "What did I tell you about saving points? And you went to buy these flashy skills!"

"They’re not flashy, they were helpful…" Aurianna muttered, a defeated expression on her face.

Eva released a frustrated sigh, "Hah, no use fretting about it now. You can get more points later but don't spend them this time!"

A nod from Aurianna satisfied Eva, "And congratulations on getting to level 95," she clapped. Before Aurianna could be content with her achievement however Eva continued, “That's pretty good but not good enough. In all honesty, you’re still so bad. You have to get stronger."

Aurianna started to open her mouth, possibly to defend herself but no words came. She knew she was right. Even after she could safely say she was experienced and comfortable fighting an array of enemies, she would still die occasionally.

In a real fight, she couldn’t say that she wouldn’t lose.

Sometimes she’d get overconfident and get sneak attacked, while others the sheer volume of enemies was too large to handle. And then, there was that one specific creature, one that terrified her over all others.

Her hands started shaking, "Eva, do you think you could kill a Death Harpy?" Her voice was quivering as she thought about the creature.

Eva rolled her eyes, "How do you think I caught them if I couldn’t? They're weak, almost too weak for me. All it would take is a flick of a finger, that’s why it was honestly a hassle to capture them instead of just taking them by force.” She had a proud smirk, “You should thank me honestly.”

"I see," Aurianna responded with a saddened tone. She started to just stay silent, to accept that she was too weak to even give input but she started feeling something. A boiling sensation in her stomach, it was frustration and anger.

She glanced up at Eva, “But how? I could barely make a move, before I could even prepare an attack I would unknowingly commit suicide." Aurianna paused for a moment, a searching expression on her face. She was waiting for an answer but Eva stayed silent, just staring at her with an eyebrow raised.

"That thing was terrifying!!!" Aurianna yelled and she clenched her chest. Her breathing was slowly getting heavier and heavier.

The mere thought of the Death Harpy being near caused her to tremble. “Please, I need to know how. The whole time, however long it was I could never kill one. I couldn’t even get close, even when I tried to run it would get me.”

Eva’s blank expression slowly turned to an amused one as she was smirking now.

'This would be a valuable lesson for her. Even though she was leveling up fast, she was not the strongest being in the world. And one shouldn't get cocky over being more powerful than others. However… Her expression is pleasing to watch.'

"How long was I there Eva?" Aurianna asked, her face clouded in confusion. She had been so caught up in gaining an answer about the Death Harpy, that she didn’t question other things such as how long she’d been there.

All she could remember was there being way more than just Goiglers there. Some are elemental variants or other creatures such as the Death Harpy.

Eva noticed Aurianna was still trembling slightly, she had nan intrigued expression. “You were there for 300 years but just curious, you didn’t fight just fight Goiglers there did you?” Eva didn’t process it at first but it was weird she mentioned a Death Harpy.

"Spirits, Ghost, Death Harpy, Metaphoria, Blue Galez, Dark Neon, and a Numbis," Aurianna counted, each time she named something she lifted a finger. She continued explaining more.

Eva frowned as she thought to herself while hearing the names, 'No wonder she took over 300 years, those beings are trouble makers. So she didn't stay in the safe zone huh? I'm sure I cast a barrier to keep her within a certain range of the training grounds, unless…… Diamonds can also break barriers!' Eva’s eyes widened after reaching her conclusion.

"The Metaphoria, did you kill it?" Eva asked, a serious expression on her face.

"I attacked one and killed it, but with the others, I could barely make a move," Aurianna shook her head as she recalled the painful experiences.

"That's not a surprise, those beings are worse than Death Harpies." Eva said as she smiled.

“How so?”

“They mostly result with the victim’s mind being tortured while they quickly devour the victim’s soul, they have no special skills but their mind manipulation game is incredibly strong,” Eva stated matter-of-fact.

"No wonder I couldn't attack it," Aurianna rubbed her hands as she recalled the tall frightful being looking at her, smiling with its huge white teeth and dark empty eyes.

Physically it had a humanoid shape but instead of having, one head, there were three heads. They were merged together and if that wasn’t unsettling enough, it had unusually long arms along with a bright red flower on its head.

"No fretting about it now, you couldn't kill because your intelligence is weak and so is your mind," Eva smiled, attempting to reassure her.

Her smile to reassure Aurianna might’ve had the opposite effect though since she essentially called her dumb.

Aurianna sighed, "What am I? What is a Diamond? And what is this soul Resonance I have with a twin sister I've never seen?" Aurianna blurted the questions out at rapid speed.

"You are the daughter of a powerful being and you aren't alone," Eva responded, "Diamonds are beings that even I don’t fully understand. But the more I learn about them the more I get fascinated by them. They create universes, planets, chaos, heavens, and even life. However, there are beings that can rival the power of the Diamonds. Such as Regals, hateful gods who love nothing more than to sow chaos.”

Eva paused for a moment to try and gauge if everything was easy to follow. Aurianna was calmly gazing at her, attempting to take in all the information as best as possible.

Eva continued, “Aurianna, you and your sister Leila are one of the thirteen Diamonds who were ranked number 4 on the Diamonds ranking but now you are at the bottom."

"Can I ask something?" Aurianna tilted her head, a thoughtful expression on her face.

Eva rolled her eyes, "You're my master, I'm obliged to answer any questions you got."

‘I’m glad that rule exists but why do I find that wording irritating…’

"Well, what should I do when I see a Regal?" Aurianna asked as she looked at Eva.

"Run away from them," Eva said flatly.

"What??!!" Aurianna gasped in surprise, she thought Eva would say something like, “stay and fight to the end.”

Her response was instant as well, she’d never heard her be so quick with a response. Eva had, at least up to this point, shown herself to be a schemer and enjoyer of suffering, so for her to say to run over anything else was off-putting to Aurianna.

Eva was pushing her finger on Aurianna’s skull repeatedly, "You can't beat a Regal at your current state. Those fuckers are freaking immortal, how can you kill someone who can regenerate every time you attack them. A being whose attacks get amplified when you attack them. War maniacs! You have no way to beat them in your current state! Your priority is to survive and get stronger!" Eva yelled, “I’m serious about following that advice okay! This isn’t like with skills, either you listen or die.”

"Have you ever fought a Regal?”

"Yes, and they were the bastards who cut off my wings.” She had a darkened expression. “We can only pray that we don't meet an extremely strong Regal."

'Eva had wings? I wonder what they looked like,' Aurianna pondered while she stared at Eva.

She quickly shook the thought away, there were more important things to find out, "What does a Regal look like? If they’re as dangerous as you say."

"All you should know is that they have rainbow eyes and a distorted rainbow gem on their forehead or chest," Eva explained pointing toward her forehead and chest as she explained.

"Okay then, and Eva, where's Leila?" Aurianna asked.

"You don't have the right to know yet," Eva quickly responded, looking away from Aurianna as she raised her hand, checking out her nails with an uninterested expression.

“I wanna know, I’m your master so I deserve to know. Tell me! Tell meeee!!!!!!!!” Aurianna cried while rolling on her bed, throwing a tantrum unlike the world had ever seen.

"Stop acting childish, you won't meet her for a long time since you’re in a different dimension!!" Eva snapped back and flicked Aurianna’s forehead, causing her to stop rolling around.

'I can't coddle her too much,' Eva reasoned with herself as she watched Aurianna rub her forehead in pain.

"Stupid bitch, I'm your master and you won't tell me the info I want," Aurianna quietly mumbled.

"What did you say??!" Eva retorted, a cold look in her eye.

You are reading story Saintess? Not anymore. I’d Rather be a Destroyer at novel35.com

She clicked her tongue in irritation, 'This child has been using too many curse words lately, I can’t let this proceed. If I do, she’ll be a nasty excuse for a Diamond.’

Aurianna scratched her head nervously, "Nothing~ I was just wondering what the whole dimension thing is about… Why are you making such an ugly face?”

Eva’s face was scrunched up, her forehead having an incredibly high amount of wrinkles. Her lips were pressed tightly together and her eyes squinted tightly as she looked up at the ceiling.

‘She’s too much too deal with. I give up. I don’t wanna be a Pearl anymore! Please just let me go back to the cage! I want to quit!’ Eva complained in her mind, incredibly tired from Aurianna’s antics.

[ Unfortunately, you can't ] the system responded blandly.

‘Geez, I’m hurting mentally and physically—My soul is aching already!’ Eva continued to whine as a bed made of clouds materialized, letting Eva sink into it.

Aurianna’s eyes perked up with surprise at the sudden manifestation but stayed silent anyway.

[ System has scanned your body and you're perfectly fine. ]

"I guess I got to teach you inter dimensional knowledge in the future,” Eva grumbled, dissatisfied with how the system responded.

"Huh?!" Aurianna tilted her head in confusion, staring blankly at Eva.

"Fine if you won't answer that question, then who's my real mum?" Aurianna asked.

"And exactly why do you think I would know that?” Eva blurted out, staring in disbelief at Aurianna.

"Aren't you my info dump?" Aurianna questioned, almost in an insulting tone.

"What did you call me?!” Eva looked at Aurianna with a glare, she was offended not by what Aurianna said but by what that implied.

"Nothing, but aren't you all knowledgeable?" Aurianna said in a sarcastic tone as she looked at Eva, crossing her arms with a slightly disappointed expression.

Eva growled, "Well, I don't have access to info like who your damn mum is!! Why’d you ask anyway!?”

"But why?" Aurianna asked, confused as to why Eva didn't have an answer.

"Because it's unknown okay!" veins popped out on her forehead.

"I was summoned as soon as your life started, not before it so I wouldn’t know. But my gut is telling me that looking for your mum is a really bad idea."

"Why's looking for her a bad idea?" Aurianna asked confused.

"You're a being that millions of Regals are looking for, and your mother was probably a Diamond. Worse, she could be dead. Because if she was alive how come she isn't here with you? It could be a possibility that she sacrificed her life to protect you and Leila. And I don't believe giving birth to a High-class Diamond won't cause a strange commotion," Eva summarized.

"But how can she die easily?" Aurianna asked, feeling her heart tense up as tears started building up.

"Diamonds die when they lose their gems and their bodies disappear into nothingness, that's the price to pay to have a child. Also, you can’t say for sure that she died easily. We don’t know how she met her end or if she’s even dead so for now, we can only theorize."

Once Eva finished, tears started slowly dripping down Aurianna’s face.

The chances of her mother, someone possibly on the same tier of strength as Eva, if not higher being alive and not finding her was low at best.

She tried her best not to cry, wiping her face quickly as the stuffy feeling she had from earlier reached its boiling point.

The hope she once held of finding her mother was gone. Even though she hated everything that happened in her past life she still wanted to experience the love of her real mother.

“I wonder what kind of life my twin sister experienced,” Aurianna mumbled with teary eyes.

Eva was holding back a full on laugh, slightly chuckling to herself quietly.

'Definitely worse than you,' Eva thought, remembering all the hardships Leila faced compared to Aurianna.

The pain and torture Aurianna went through couldn’t compare to what Leila experienced.

Eva remembered watching as little Leila at just 5 years old awakened to her Diamond chaos powers, causing an unquenchable flame to engulf her body, causing everything around her to burn. Those engulfed overtaken by the flames had been turned into exp for her.

For 10 years she had to endure the pain of her body being burnt by flames of chaos as she lost her rationality. How could it compare to just being tortured in a room or being eaten by Goiglers?

"Flames of Chaos have the power to burn one’s soul and are also the source of the flames of Hell. I got one talented one semi-talented. I wonder if they would fight if they ever met each other," Eva mumbled as she looked at Aurianna who was finally able to stop the tears from flowing. She was looking down now with a sorrowful look, deep in thought.

"I wonder if the two girls met each other, what would happen? With Leila's personality I'm sure she would try to kill Aurianna for her Diamond gem and become the true Diamond. But if Leila found out Aurianna was her sister would she care? And if so what would happen then…” Eva had a sinister smile on her face as she mumbled, all the while Aurianna, who was done sorting out her thoughts, was staring at her.

"What's the Diamond Ranking Eva? You keep saying I'm the lowest when I haven't even seen it," Aurianna was pouting slightly, bothered that Eva wasn’t paying attention to her worries.

Eva just swiped her hand as a white screen appeared before Aurianna and a set of numerals and people's names were displayed.

"To think Leila made it to rank 5, is she really that strong?" Aurianna had an impressed look on her face.

"Definitely, and she made it there in a span of 20 years, yet you…." Eva was about to say something as she stopped to see Aurianna who was trying her best to hold back her tears.

"I know I'm weak, that's why I'll grow stronger and catch up to my sister!" Aurianna declared as she wiped her tears and continued to monitor the screen not noticing Eva's smile.

"Who's this Gilgamesh and Iris?" Aurianna asked as she was looking at the top of the list.

"I'm even wondering myself. Those two are unusually strong. What's more I have no idea of which Diamond they are," Eva frowned. “Wasn't it some years ago when their levels were 70 for Gilgamesh and 48 for Iris?”

“Maybe time moves differently for the other Diamond's" Aurianna suggested.

Eva nodded silently, acknowledging her assumption.

“I still wonder why there are still 12, aren't there supposed to be 13 or the last one was killed?" Eva mumbled to herself.

"I hope I can meet any of them one-day (≧▽≦)" Aurianna said excitedly

"You wouldn't want that," Eva retorted quickly.

"But why?" Aurianna asked as she tilted her head.

"It could be a possibility that one could be hungry for power and go for the other Diamond's gems to increase their strength. It's not bad to be too careful since the previous Diamond world was destroyed by the Diamonds themselves," Eva warned as she looked at Aurianna.

"Diamond world?" Aurianna had confusion written over her face.

"I'll tell you about this another time," Eva rubbed her forehead.

"So how did they all die?" Aurianna asked, clearly unaware that her constant questioning was slowly making Eva lose her patience.

"Greed… greed for being the highest ranking Diamond killed them," Eva replied.

Aurianna shuddered, the thought of the top Diamonds coming after her life was scary. While she craved to know what happened to the Diamond world and everything else, she opted to just hold off and learn more in the future. To be honest, her head was starting to hurt from all the information she was getting during her time with Eva.

Would she even be able to resist if a Diamond of a higher level attacked her? Their levels didn’t clearly state how much skills these Diamonds possessed but it had to be a great amount..

"We shouldn't worry about such matters now, but rather how you would live in this life," Eva tried changing the subject in a brash tone. Hoping that would end the interrogation sessions like how Aurianna was asking many questions.

Aurianna had a simple look on her face, "Oh that's easy, I'm gonna wreck havoc, destroy the human kingdom, make my own harem of sexy handsome males, and make the church stand on top of the world!!"

"........Okay. That's a nice goal and all, but do you know how big the world is?" Eva was unimpressed by her declaration.

"Huh isn't it just some free neighboring kingdoms around and the demon kingdom at the other side in the east?" Aurianna scratched the side of her head.

Eva face palmed hearing Aurianna be so utterly clueless.

"Never mind I'll teach you all of this later," Eva sighed.
