Chapter 21: Language of Magical Beasts

-Unknown Tower-

[DAMN IT! THERE IS NO EVEN A SINGLE HUMAN BEING THAT SUITABLE TO BECOME HIS VESSEL!!!]

In the room that looked like a circular hall filled with shelves with ancient books in the languages of the unknown world, there was a being about three meters tall yet slender, it wore a black robe and had a few tattered black wings.

He grumbled in annoyance over his unfinished mission.

"AHHHH! NO! NO! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!"

A man screamed very loudly as he begged, his whole body trembled in fear after seeing his comrades die one by one. He couldn't count how long it took him and his party to be caught after failing to raid a B-rank gate.

They thought they would finish the raid quickly because their group consisted of skilled hunters, but they didn't expect to find a gate with the wrong evaluation or rather this gate's magical beast faked its magical power up to B-rank.

And the bad luck continued when they entered the gate, their exit was immediately gone leaving them trapped like rats tricked by a bit of cheese in a trap.

[KUKUKUKU... What a pity human. While I'm enjoying your moaning but I need to finish this soon...]

The creature glanced at the man who was lying on the table with various strange patterns and letters, he glanced with a grin like a smile at a new toy that has not been broken

The creature chanted the magic as soon as the table with the magic circle pattern lit up due to the flow of mana starting the magic spell.

The man groaned in pain as mighty magical energy tried to forcefully enter his body.

Two days had passed since Sasuke's visit to the Yoo Nari Family's residence after that Sasuke was, as usual, busy with raids, training, and research related to Gates.

An ancient language that is older than the earth itself, according to Sasuke's understanding Valyrian is another world language that is the only language of various races such as elves, dwarves, beasts, dragons, and others.

(A/N: I'm not going to say too much about the Valyrian language, I'm trying to come up with a name for it since it would be really weird calling it the "Language of Magical Beasts" If you guys think this is taken from GOT, yes that's right, cause I like the name lmao.)

"Sigh... It's done."

After writing for a week with the help of several clones, even though he slept a little, he didn't feel tired physically and mentally.

"Excuse me, sir... This is Adam."

"Please come in."

After getting permission to enter, Adam who was wearing a suit entered Sasuke's study room but not only Adam, he was accompanied by an old man wearing a lab coat.

"Doctor Belzer..." Sasuke greeted his new colleague who recently researched things that the gate brought to earth.

Sasuke finished the pleasantries and invited Doctor Belzer to sit on the sofa while he went to get the first volume of the twenty-five volumes of the Valyrian Dictionary.

About a thousand pages of paper that were the first volume made a sound when it was placed on the table.

"First of all, please have a quick look," Sasuke spoke then sat facing Doctor Belzer.

Adjusting his glasses, Belzer took the book volume and read the first cover seriously.

The light that Sasuke meant was when he realized that the Runestone that holds the Ruler's Authority Skill holds several other knowledge.

But Sasuke wouldn't say that for fear of making the Runestone even more expensive, making the chances of people getting it down.

That was necessary for the safety of humans themselves, the world prefers to keep Runestones in their cupboards because of their high value rather than using them for purposes such as hunting monsters.

"Extraordinary..."

Belzer seemed completely overwhelmed by this young man's monster abilities.

[This is very important for understanding the magic itself because the language that the world has does not have this feature.] Said Sasuke using the language of magical beasts or its real name is Valyrian.

Hearing that, Belzer and Adam widened their eyes, they felt as if they were facing a creature from another world. After that, they chatted a little longer about the discovery of the Valyrian language.

-A few hours later-

"Mr. Sasuke I look forward to hearing more lectures from you, but it's a shame because your time is limited. Don't worry I will do as you ask."

"Thanks for help Doctor."

They both shook hands, then Doctor Belzer left the room leaving Sasuke and Adam.

"Adam, I need you to take this seriously." After Belzer left Sasuke reminded Adam about it.

"Yes, Sir. Your next schedule is the A-rank Gate in Boston, sir." Adam said while looking at his tablet.

"Alright..."

Since he finished writing about Valyrian Language, Sasuke left without sending Clones like when he was doing research.

On a large and dark throne.
