There are no direct flights from Jin City to Hanas Airport at this time of the morning.

If he waits until daytime to set off, he would have wasted several hours, so Ning You decided to take the night flight to Urumqi for a transfer.

Before setting off, Ning You brought enough clothes to change into, as well as items such as a hair dryer and razors. The 28-inch suitcase was completely packed. He tried to lift it up but the suitcase was very heavy. In the end he had to give up his favorite set of tableware.

When the plane arrived at Hanas Airport, Ning You finally understood why people advocated for traveling light.

It was the first time he was alone, and he didn’t even have someone to carry his suitcase.

Ning You suddenly regretted not taking Xiao Zhao with him. Of course, he didn’t expect Xiao Zhao to carry his suitcase, but if Xiao Zhao helped him plan the route, he wouldn’t be so confused, wandering around the airport and looking for transportation to the Hanas Lake Scenic Area.

The scenic area has not been officially opened, and the interval buses are in a state of suspension.

Taking a private chartered car, Ning You was worried about safety, so in the end he chose a minibus full of local residents.

This is definitely a new experience.

Ning You sat in the last row next to the window, with an aunt from a minority ethnic group sitting next to him.

Auntie was talking on WeChat. When she played a voice message, a minority language with extremely fast speech could be heard.

Ning You learned about the customs and culture from around here after returning to Jin City, but after listening to it for a long time, he still couldn’t tell whether this aunt was speaking Kazakh or Uighur.

Not long after, Ning You’s peripheral vision suddenly caught a glimpse of the aunt turning on the phone camera and openly taking pictures of him without his permission.

It’s kind of like holding up the phone to take a selfie and Ning You got included without his permission.

Ning You’s gaze looked straight at the screen, and the aunt on the screen naturally noticed Ning You. She showed a big smile, and then pressed the shutter button.

After putting the phone away, the auntie complimented Ning You: “Handsome young man.”

The auntie obviously doesn’t speak much Chinese, not only can she not speak clearly, but she also has a strong accent.

But the simple three words were enough to convey what she meant——she thought Ning You was an uncommon handsome young man from a foreign race, so she took out her phone and took a picture of him.

It was obviously a very offensive move, but in this simple environment, Ning You felt the aunt’s warmth.

He pulled out his own phone and took a photo with the aunt.

If it had been in any other environment, Ning You wouldn’t have done this. Because what awaits after a group photo would be endless chatter, which he most wants to avoid.

However the aunt didn’t speak much Chinese. After happily taking a photo with Ning You, she didn’t disturb Ning You any further.

The car stopped in front of the health center, and traces of a bonfire could still be seen in the square outside.

Ning You couldn’t care less about memories, and dragged the box to the lobby of the health center. However, the nurse at the front desk told him that the timing of his arrival was unfortunate. Not long ago, Li Mu had just been discharged from the center.

“He’s not seriously hurt, is he?” Ning You asked.

He probably knew that Li Mu had suffered a knife wound, but he didn’t understand the specific situation.

“The injury is on the arm and he’s been given a tetanus shot. As long as you pay attention to the wound to avoid infection, there should be no big problem.”

That’s good.

After worrying the whole journey, Ning You was finally at ease. He called Li Mu, but his phone was still annoyingly turned off.

“Are you calling Li Mu?” The nurse saw that Ning You obviously couldn’t get through. “Before leaving, he said that he had something to do with Chief Lin. This weekend, Chief Lin should beat home.”

“Thank you.”

Ning You had already been to Chief Lin’s house twice, and when he came out of the health center, he dragged a large suitcase through the well-connected path based on the impression from his memory.

Although the suitcase was very heavy and it was not easy to drag it away, Ning You was in a good mood and he was no longer in a hurry.

Because Li Mu didn’t know he was here, he could imagine Li Mu’s reaction upon seeing him.

He may be stunned, he may find it unbelievable, in short, the scene of a reunion of the two must be full of surprises.

However, after wandering around the village for a long time, Ning You became more and more confused.

It turns out that a certain road idiot really overestimated himself. The wooden houses in Tuva Village looked almost identical. He went back and forth several times at an intersection, and finally a villager showed him the direction.

Unlike other people’s homes, the wooden fence door of Chief Lin’s house is always open, as if welcoming everyone.

The scene of his farewell is still fresh in his memory, and he thought to himself that indeed a plan can’t keep up with changes. Ning You didn’t expect to return so soon.

“Chief Lin.” Ning you upon nearing the wooden house, knocked on its open wooden door and waited, “Are you home?”

“Who?” Chief Lin came out of the back room and when he saw that it was Ning You, he asked with a surprised expression, “It’s you, didn’t you go back?”

“I heard that Li Mu was injured, so I came back to have a look.”

Having said that, Ning You couldn’t help but glance into the room, his mind already prepared to meet with Li Mu.

Chief Lin noticed that Ning You was looking for Li Mu, and said, “He’s not here, he just left.”

“Not here?” Ning You’s eyebrows drooped down immediately, showing a disappointed expression.

This was the second time their encounter failed, and Ning You suddenly had no expectation of surprises in his heart. He just wanted to see Li Mu as soon as possible.

“You care about him a lot.” Chief Lin said, “And came over specifically to see him.”

Ning You nodded and didn’t deny: “After all, he saved me in the woods.”

“You really have a heart.” Chief Lin said, “But he’s fine, he just won’t take his injury seriously, doesn’t consider whether he lost too much blood. He just went to the fire control center and helped with the annual inspection of the fire extinguishers in the residents’ homes. You can go there to find him.”

“Thank you.”

This time Ning You didn’t waste any more time, he went directly to the villagers on the side of the road and asked the direction of the fire center.

“Are you looking for Li Mu? He’s gone back to the mountain after he finished his work here.” said the dark-skinned young firefighter.

“He’s not here again?” Ning You was simply tossed out of his disposition.

If he could go back in time, he would never bring this 28-inch suitcase again. Now he just wants to find a place and throw away this damn heavy suitcase.

“You can go to his house and look for him there,” said the brother firefighter, “But he may not be at home.”

“Then where will he go?” Ning You couldn’t help asking.

“Maybe he’s patrolling the mountains, I don’t know.” The brother firefighter said, “I don’t know what’s been going on with him recently. He tried his best to find something to do for himself. He injured his arm and had to come to help with the annual inspection of the firefighter tools.”

“Thank you, I’d better go to his house to find him.” Ning You was about to leave with his suitcase, but then he suddenly thought of something and said shyly, “Can I trouble you to find a car to take me up the mountain?”

In this matter, Ning You is very self-aware. If he has to carry the suitcase up the mountain alone, I’m afraid he will not be able to reach Li Mu’s house after dark.

The brother firefighter was very refreshing. He went to the police station next door to find a brother police. In the end, a police officer drove Ning You to the mountain by bus.

Sure enough, there was no one in the cabin, and Hari was also nowhere to be seen in the yard.

In just a week, the stables and cattle sheds were built in the wooden fence. It seems that as thebrother firefighter said, Li Mu really found a lot of things for himself to do.

The door of the cabin was not locked as before, because Li Mu never worried that someone would come to his house to steal anything.

Ning You carried the suitcase into the entrance, but the interior of the house did not change much, and the placement of items was exactly the same as when he left——including his toothbrush and towel.

At first glance, it seemed as if he had never left.

His previous depression was swept away, and Ning You began to look forward to what kind of surprise the two would have when they reunited again.

He wandered around the house and did not find the photo he was looking for most, but this did not affect his current happy mood.

After getting off the plane, he rushed all the way, but he didn’t have time to go to the bathroom.

Ning You went to the familiar small wooden room outside the kitchen and found that a ceiling light had been installed here.

The thing that is obscured is the previous curtain, after all, the door has to be hinged, which is indeed a bit troublesome.

Ning You unbuttoned the button, pulled down the zipper, aligned the position, and opened the gate to release the water. The sound of water rattled so loudly that he didn’t hear the sound of horseshoes from far and near outside.

“Ning You?”

The curtain was suddenly pulled open, and Ning You subconsciously turned his upper body, almost scaring the soul out of his body.

The person who he dreamed of day and night finally appeared in front of him, but there was no surprise on his face, only astonishment, and his eyes were gradually going down.……

“What are you doing!” Ning You suddenly returned to his senses and roared anxiously.

He quickly turned around, shook the last few drops clean, quickly zipped up, walked to Li Mu aggressively, and said, “Someone is using the bathroom. Are you kidding me?”

How can anyone directly open a bathroom door to confirm who the person inside is?

Others are in progress, okay!

“Sorry.” Li Mu finally came back to his senses, and a faint smile appeared in the depths of his eyes.

He glanced down, suppressed the corners of his upturned mouth, and joked: “Little fairy, you peed on your shoes.”

Ning You was wearing a pair of black Martin boots on his feet, which he bought especially after returning from Xinjiang, just to make a pair with Li Mu’s Martin boots.

Who knew that he would encounter this kind of misfortune on the first day he wore it.

“That’s water.” Ning You used all his strength to stay calm, hypnotizing himself with a trembling voice.

“Are you sure it wasn’t you who just turned around——”

“Shut the fuck up!”

Ning You doesn’t want to hear any more words from Li Mu.

He was really sad, so sad that he was about to cry.

This was not the reunion he wanted.
