Naruto finally got his hands on a Katana thanks to Kakashi after a few days. The Katana looked cool like any other Katana out there. Nothing too fancy, just the way he preferred. Kakashi told him a few basic attack stances and attacks he should practice first and Naruto took note of each of them in his mind.

He soon went into the forest to start training. Having the ability of shadow cloning he would be a loser if he didn't use the ability so just as he entered the forest he made more than sixty shadow clones while keeping only around thirty chakra points in reserve. He instructed each clone to start practising the Katana stances and attacks.

He had read Bruce Lee's quote, "I Fear not the person who has practised 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practised one kick 10,000 times." With the help of his shadow clones achieving this state was a piece of cake for him. He put his clones to work and then went back to training with Rock Lee.

Just like this, days kept on passing by. Naruto felt himself improving day by day at a very rapid pace. Normally, Naruto's progress shouldn't be so smooth as he should be getting mentally fatigued after using so many shadow clones and assimilating their memories but due to some peculiar reasons, Naruto was resistant to this effect.

During this time Naruto also discovered that he could gauge the number of points he needed to successfully use his 'eye of the charmer' ability on a person. Since he was spending so much of his time with Lee. It was obvious he discovered it while eyeing him. After gazing at a person for more than ten seconds if the person doesn't show any signs of infatuation a number becomes visible right above their forehead for Naruto to see.

In the case of Lee, it was 25 currently. This means his stat average needed to increase by 25 more points in order for him to make Lee head over heels for him instead of Sakura. The good thing was that only 15 days had passed since he had started training. This meant that he still had a lot of time for a month to pass before the wave country mission came.

Another 15 days soon passed by quickly and Naruto checked on his stats.

Seeing his increased stats brought delight to Naruto. It was worth taking note that now Naruto needed only 5 more stat points to be able to charm Rock Lee. This meant that Rock Lee's AvgStat was 105 currently.

Naruto wanted to increase this stat before going to the wave country so that he can have a taste of Lee before tasting Haku but fate didn't want that to happen as due to a series of coincidences his team was soon assigned the C-Rank mission of escorting Tazuna even though he didn't follow the original plotline.
