Suddenly, Kotaro dashed toward us at lightning speed after unsheathing his Katana.

*SHING*

However, I evaded his Katana attacking in a lightning speed. Afterwards, I countered his attack by shooting him several rounds with my Kiryu.

*BANG BANG BANG BANG*

Unfortunately, he's parried the bullet with his Katana like breaking a toothpick. And then, I rushed forward and fight against him in close quarter. This time, I parried my blade against his Katana. The spark from the blade parry sparking through this slightly darkened large warehouse.

However, I'm not alone when fighting against Kotaro. Because Axel, Christine, Scott, and Veronica helped me to fight against Kotaro.

Axel swung his hammer toward Kotaro back with a full power, unfortunately he's evaded Axel's hammer in a lightning speed. Christine swung her Lancepear toward Kotaro quickly. Unfortunately, he's kept evading their attack at lightning speed.

It irritated me he's keep evading our attack, as if he's playing with us to make us exhausted. And when all of us were exhausted after keep juked by him, it's his time to killing us easily.

Suddenly, I've got an idea to turning back the tide. All I have to do is to throwing a flashbang at Kotaro's face, let him get stunned by the flashing light from the flashback, and we straight up slashing his body whenever he's stunned.

However, when I'm checking my pocket to see any remaining grenade, there are barely any grenades in my pocket, considering I've used most of my grenades after fighting against Taken-Ki.

"Anyone got a flashbang?" I ask to everyone when dashing to avoiding Kotaro's attack.

Suddenly, Christine replied quickly.

"I do!"

"Use it!" I said to her.

"Alright!" she responded when she's drawing her Stun Grenade from her pocket.

She took off the pin from the grenade.

"Throwing flashbang!" She shouted as she throwing a flashbang toward Kotaro's face.

And when the flashbang is about to hit Kotaro's face, it's exploded and releasing a blinding light. Kotaro got blinded by the flashbang light, where he had to covering his faces to recovering his blinded vision for a few seconds. And that gave us a perfect chance to strike him back.

"Now it's our chance!" Axel said to us.

"LET'S GO!!!" Said Scott when he's rushed forward Kotaro and swung his Greatsword into Kotaro waist.

Axel whacked Kotaro's body with his hammer.

"SCOTT!" Said Axel when he's tossing Kotaro's body toward Scott.

"ON IT!" He replied as he was about to swing his Greatsword.

"HIYAH!!!"

He's slashed Kotaro's body harshly until his body spilled tons of blood and oil.

*JSLOSH*

"GYAK!"

And then he slashed Kotaro's body for the second time.

*JSLOSH*

And when Kotaro is falling down into the ground, Scott is about to finish his life by slashing his body overhead.

"HAAAAAAA! TAKE THIS!!!"

"Heh… foolishness!"

Suddenly, Kotaro getting up in a split second and gritted his Katana against Scott's Greatsword with his remaining power. Despite the critical damage, he's taken.

But he didn't realize that me, Christine, and Veronica are about to stab Kotaro back when he's focusing on fighting against Scott. And that gave us a perfect chance to strike him from behind.

Scott smirked sinisterly, and then he said to Kotaro.

"Nope, you're the one who's a fool!"

"What?!" He asked confusedly.

And suddenly, the three of us stabbed him from behind.

*JSHICK JSHICK JSHICK*

"GYAAAAAGGGHHHHHH!!!"

The pain was too much for Kotaro to handle. I inflicted more damage on his inner frames by revving my blade.

*BRAAAAAAAP BRAAAAAAAAP BRAAAAAAAAAAP*

Christine also revved her Lancepear to inflict more damage like I do.

*BRUUUUUUMMM BRUUUUMMMM BRUUUUUUMMMM*

After we've inflicted enough damage toward his inner frames by revving our blades, we're taking off our blades from his body harshly until our blade exhaust spitting flames.

"YOU FOOL!!!" Said Kotaro to us when he's wounded badly.

Kotaro was really desperate trying to fighting against us back. But Veronica dashed toward his face at lightning speed.

"Well, well, well, would you like to bark for me?"

"What the?!"

Suddenly, Veronica kicked Kotaro crotch and causes him to throw upward. And after he's thrown upward, Veronica jumped and slashed Kotaro's body midair countless time as fast as possible with her Dual Blades.

*SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING*

"AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" She laughed psychotically when she's slashed Kotaro's body midair until the floor flooded with bloods and oils.

"Yes… yes… yes… yes… YES…"

"GYAAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!" Kotaro screamed in pain. He wanted to fighting back, but Veronica's slashing technique is too much for him to counter.

"Kill, kill, kill, KILL, FUCKING KILL!!!" she continued as she's followed with a psychotic laugh.

"AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"

After she's slashed Kotaro's body enough, she's kicking his body into the ground.

*BOK*

Suddenly, Scott did an engagement pose to slashing Kotaro body with his Greatsword as a finishing move.

"Here it goes!"

He's waiting as Kotaro's body is falling down right into his face. And when Kotaro's body was about to hit Scott's face around 3m, he swung his Greatsword harshly to split Kotaro's body.

"HIYAGH!!!"

*JSLOSH*

And he did it flawlessly, where tons of bloods and oil splattered into Scott's face and shirt. After that, Kotaro's body that's slashed in half dropped into the ground until the bloods and the oils flooded the ground.

It amazed all of us, looking at Scott's finishing kill toward Kotaro. And then Axel complimented him.

"Nice kill, Scott!"

Afterwards, Scott stabbed his Greatsword into the ground, laying his back into the side blade of his Greatsword, crossing his hands, and then he said in relief.

Then, Christine sitting down on the ground and said in relief too.

"Huff… finally… we've killed all the three Infectoid flawlessly,"

"Yeah… I was expecting it'll be difficult. But luckily, our teamwork makes us able to slay these beasts easily," I replied to her.

Despite we've accomplished the mission flawlessly, we've felt something strange in among us, which is there's no Joshua.

And then I asked to everyone.

"By the way guys, where's Joshua?"

"Wait, Joshua isn't here?!" Scott asked in surprise and confusion when looking around.

Everyone was slightly panicking because they're afraid that Joshua might be in danger. Because of that, I called him to asking where he's right now.

"Hold on, let me call him.,"

Afterwards, my comms channel connected into Joshua's channel. And then, I said to him out loud.

"Joshua, this is Tsuyuki, the leader of the Black Vulture squadron. Can you read me? Where the hell are you? Can you confirm us where is your location, right now?"

Unfortunately, there's barely any response besides the buzzing sounds through his comms channel.

"*bzzzzzzt* *bzzzzzzzt*"

"What the hell? There's no response?!" I asked to myself confusedly.

Suddenly, Scott approached me and asked.

"How was it, Tsuyuki?"

"Just wait," I answered quickly.

And then I asked Joshua again, out loud.

"Joshua! Talk to me! Can you hear me?! What's happened?!"

And then Christine said to us, panicking.

"Oh shit, this is bad! He's might be in danger, we have to rescue him right-"

Suddenly, a similar voice called us from the darkened part of this place.

"Did you guys called me?"

"What?!" Axel asked confusedly.

When the five of us glanced at the unknown figure from the darkened part of this place, we've felt something strange with that figure, because that figure looked like someone we've recognized before.

After a few seconds, the unknown figure revealed himself. And it was Joshua all along! And he's approaching us with a threatening glare.

It surprised the five of us, looking at Joshua approaching us threateningly. As if he's wanted to kill us or something. And then, I approached him back and asked him.

"Joshua?! Where the hell have you been? Why don't you come and helping us when fighting against Kotaro?!"

Suddenly, Joshua stopped for a second and replied.

"My apologize everyone, I have a sudden affair that I cannot ignore easily. Because it's my duty as a Science Engineer Authonoid to take care of something that none of you would dare to take the risk on.,"

And then, Scott approached him and said to him, worryingly, yet slightly angry.

"What the hell are you talking about, Joshua?! Don't you realize we're almost died after killing this Infectoid? Aren't you slightly contradicting your oath as the leader of Red Cheetah?!"

"That's the point for being Authonoid, Scott. Take what it takes to win,"

I'm getting irritated with his preach, so I forced him to answer my question.

"Just spit it out, Joshua. Answer my question honestly. Where the hell have you been, and what are you doing in there?"

Joshua silenced, and looking at all of us for a second. After that, he answered clearly.

"I met the same unknown person from the Taken-Ki consciousness data previously.,"

"Who?!" Axel asked when he's raising his left eyebrow.

"Wait, you met with the same suited men from Taken-Ki memories data?" I asked Joshua, slightly surprised.

"Yes,"

"What does that unknown person do to you?" Christine asked.

And then Joshua answered clearly.

"First of foremost; He said to me we've fallen into a trap. And secondly; he said to me a greater danger is nigh,"

"What kind of trap and a great danger?" Axel asked.

Then Joshua answered while raised his shoulders.

"I don't know. What do I know is, someone that's identified as a greater danger will kill all of us in this place. If we let our guard down,"

"A greater danger that will kill all of us? Hmm…." I said to myself while looking down, thinking for a second.

Suddenly, I have an idea about the "Greater danger" that Joshua mentioned before. Then, I said to him.

"Wait, you mean with Onigashi?"

"Onigashi?" Scott asked, confused.

And then, Joshua explained.

"If I had to judge, Onigashi wasn't that stupid. She's prefers to kill someone that she's targeting on. And considering she's the leader of the Crescent, she even won't let her crews did something stupid outside from her orders,"

It slightly surprised me to hear Onigashi is the leader of Crescent, the notorious terrorist organization that's known for rebelling against the government anarchically, but worse than hell.

"The leader of the Crescent?" I asked in surprised.

When all of us were suspended in the middle of this dark and wide warehouse of an abandoned sugar factory, an unknown figure appears from nowhere and said to us sardonically.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here?"

We're all surprised after hearing the unknown figure's voice. And then, Scott asked when he did an engagement stance.

"Who's there?!"

After a few seconds, the unknown figure revealed his selves out from the darkened part of this warehouse.

An ominous looking male with a grey-blackish hair, bicolor eyes (red eyes on left, and yellow eyes on right), and a long black coat. He is carrying 2 large butcher blades with 2 colors in it (red on his left hand, and blue on his right hand). He's also carrying a revolver in his right holster with several quick reload ammo in his left holster.

When I looked at that ominous looking male, I suddenly remembered something about that male, as if he was someone I've ever recognized before.

Afterwards, the ominous looking male continued while smiled sinisterly.

"Your one and the only nightmare. Florent the Fireblade,"

"Great…" I said to myself when glaring back at Florent.

I assume Florent is the "Greater danger" Joshua mentioned before. But what I've remembered, Florent is the most dangerous Crescent assassin known for using a brute force when killing his enemy with his fire element, his large butcher blades, and a revolver. Even I've heard Florent is Onigashi's right-hand man.

But despite that, all I care about is I want to beat that guy up before getting out of this place safely.
