Daniel was taken aback by Samantha's sudden change of attitude. Seriously, his woman has mood swings like a pregnant woman… 'She can't be…', he lowered his head with the thought. 'Naah, she just had her period.'

"Are you mad that I snapped at you?", Samantha asked shyly.

Daniel decided to play with her for a bit, "You didn't just snap at me. You made me your personal punching bag and you pulled my hair.", he complained, his voice sounded hurt but there was a smile on his face.

"I'm really sorry, honey. That was stupid of me.", she lifted her head to look at him but Daniel pressed her head back to his chest.

How could he not let her be like this? He was at fault but she was the one who was feeling sorry, wasn't this a perfect escape plan? "Don't move. I'm still mad.", he pursed his lips as he tried so hard not to laugh, he sighed.

"What can I do to make it up to you?", she pouted.

Without second thoughts, he answered confidently, "Sleep with me."

Samantha tilted her head as she tried to think about what he wanted, she gently pulled away from his embrace and Daniel composed himself.

"What? But I haven't slept for 2 days… I don't think I have the energy."

"What are you talking about? You don't need to have the energy just to sleep.", Daniel smirked right after and added, "Oh I see... You were thinking about something else."

"Why? Weren't you thinking about that?", she bit her lip in embarrassment.

"As much as I would love to devour you right now for being so ridiculously adorable, I would want for you to have a rest first, especially after what happened.", he stroked her hair. "Sorry to disappoint you."

Samantha's brows scrunched up, "What?! Who says I'm disappointed?", she looked away.

Daniel couldn't help but snicker. He picked her up and brought her to the bed, placed her on it and tucked her in. "Go to sleep. You need it."

Samantha was so embarrassed, she hid half of her face under the covers as Daniel walked around the bed before he laid next to her.

"I'm really sorry. Forgive me?", she spoke when Daniel looked at her.

Bringing her close to him, he hugged her gently as he stroked her back, "It was my fault. I destroyed your work and for that, I'm very guilty. Sorry."

"Yeah, it was. And though I'm no longer mad about it, you still have to make up for it.", she announced and it made Daniel's hair stand on its end.

It was the day of the presentation and Samantha was a nervous wreck before she went inside the meeting room. But because of Daniel's presence, she managed to calm down. Alexander was also beside her the entire time, saving her every time she finds the questions difficult to answer. At the end of their presentation, the executives were impressed and convinced. Some of the members of the meeting were the same people who were present during that time when Samantha entered Daniel's office and made her wait while he rushed the meeting.

All of them thought how cheeky their president is.

They all wondered, 'Are the two of them... dating?'.

They were so wrong about her, the executives who thought that she was just some ordinary girl were slapped in the face with Samantha's intelligence and identity. A woman with brain, power, wealth and charm? Who would dare say that she's not fit to be called future Mrs. Cho?

On one of the seats in the meeting room sat a depressed Director Leah Tan. Ever since she learned about Samantha's identity a few days ago, her hatred of her became bigger. But because of Samantha's presentation, she felt that there was no way she could hate this woman. Rather, it was difficult to hate her now. What is she compared to this excellent Samantha Kim?

As their assembly came to an end, Samantha and Alexander shook hands with the executives before they left the meeting room.

"I'll head back to the office, Sam. I'll see you tomorrow.", Alexander bid farewell.

Daniel then brought Samantha to his office and as soon as they entered, Samantha sat down on the sofa and brought her knees up, she was suddenly looking so pale.

"You don't look so well.", he commented.

He sat down next to Samantha and touched her forehead. "You're hot, what's wrong? Are you feeling sick?", he worried.

"I don't... feel so well.", she spoke with a weak voice, her eyes were heavy and beads of sweat formed on her forehead.

"Do you feel pain anywhere?"

"My throat hurts and I feel cold.", she laid her head on her knees.

He stood up very quickly and started to help her up from the sofa, "I'm bringing you to the hospital."

She retracted her hand and shook her head lightly, she was getting dizzy. "No hospitals.". Samantha still really hated hospitals.

Putting his hands on his sides, Daniel thought of what to do. He took out his phone and dialed a phone number. "Doctor Nam, please come to my house."

Samantha knew what he meant and for some reason, her stubborn self wanted to decline thinking that she doesn't even want to see a doctor.

"But... I'll be fine, I think I just need to rest. Maybe a good sleep is all I need.", she tried to negotiate.

Daniel firmly objected, "No, Samantha.. As my future wife, whether you like it or not, you are going to see a doctor. Now are you getting your butt off the sofa or should I carry you out of this building?"
