Chapter 131: Cliffside Villa (1)

Early morning at the Cliffside Villa.

Sunlight entered the tall glass window brightening the room and the waves from the water outside can be heard. 

Amidst the peaceful morning, a faint vibrating sound echoed through the room. Samantha's face was flushed and Daniel's broad back glistened with sweat, his taut muscle showing in his topless state.

"Hurry up and put it in!" Samantha bit her lip.

"I'm trying!" Daniel pressed a button and the machine roared to life. It vibrated wildly, shocking Samantha and sending Daniel into a panic mode.

"Oh... God !! Oh !!" she said frantically. "Ahh!! Turn it off! It's too much!!"

"Shît!" Daniel searched for the button to turn it off. 

*Click*

The machine turned off.

"Sorry, hun. I thought it was okay to do that." Daniel apologized. With his hands on his waist, he glanced at his woman before scanning the room. 

"Why is this damn power blender so hard to use?!" Samantha complained as she started towards the clean the kitchen counter, the blended fruit liquid overflowed and it made a mess.

It had been 3 weeks since Daniel and Samantha's engagement and the only people who knew about it was Hannah and his brother Liam. They decided to keep it a secret since they were planning to announce it on that night's housewarming party.

They had been living in the Cliffside Villa for more than a week by then, the move took a while since both of them had a lot of things. The Villa had 4 bedrooms and it had an open concept. With the tall window walls, the entire place was always brightly lit. The infinity pool can be seen from the living room and the view of the sea is absolutely amazing. Daniel made sure that the security is tight and high tech so it was very safe for them to live there.

While Samantha was wiping the counter, her phone rang. "Darling, can you answer the phone for me, please?"

"Sure." Daniel picked up her phone from the breakfast table and tapped the answer button. "Hello, Samantha's phone~"

"Oh, Hi Mr. Cho. This is Becca, is Samantha busy?" she asked.

He glanced at his woman who was still cleaning up the mess that they made. "She is a bit… Would you like to leave a message?"

Samantha heard Daniel speaking, "Who is it? Is that Becca?" she probed while looking up at him.

Daniel nodded his head and Samantha requested, "Can you turn on the speaker?"

He followed her request and she began to speak loudly, "Becks, what's up?"

"Hi, Sam! I was just calling to confirm if you're going with me to the Mashbox event tomorrow? They wanted to know the final count of the guests."

"Is that tomorrow already? What time does it start again?" Samantha asked.

"After lunch, 1 pm."

"Okay! I'll be there! Thanks, Becks!" she promised.

"All right, then!"

"Oh, wait… you're... coming here tonight, right?" Samantha inquired.

Becca didn't answer, and Samantha knew why she was thinking twice. After her brother and Becca's break up a week ago, it was a bit awkward to be in the same room together. She had been really nice even after they agreed to break up, she didn't hate Seo Joon too. But their break up still hurt her a lot because she really liked him. 

Samantha waited patiently for Becca's response. She and Daniel looked at each other like their eyes were having a conversation. She was about to speak when she heard Becca finally answered, "I will try to drop by, okay?"

"Sure, take care, Becks!" Samantha spoke before the call ended.

Samantha continued to clean the counter and Daniel walked up behind her. Encircling his arms around her waist, he whispered to her ear. "You look sexy."

Samantha chuckled, "What are you talking about? I'm just wearing your shirt and boxers."

"Yes, and you're sexy in them." He breathed into her ear before he made small kisses on her nape. 

"Mmmm. You're gonna be late for work." Samantha moaned but didn't push him away. 

Daniel was a bit sweaty but she didn't mind at all and she just let him do what he wanted. Sliding his hands inside her shirt, Daniel felt her warm smooth waist. Slowly sliding his hands up, he continued to kiss her neck. She leaned back and her right hand grasped his hair asking for more.

Wanting to kiss him, Samantha turned around and smiled at him haughtily. Daniel pulled her close and captured her waiting lips. She clutched her arms around his neck and pressed herself to him. 

The room suddenly felt really steamy as Daniel lifted her up and placed her on the counter. Samantha instantly wrapped her legs around Daniel bringing him closer. He caressed her thighs with his warm hands before he found the seams of her shirt. Lifting it halfway up her body, they suddenly heard the doorbell.

As if he didn't hear, Daniel continued to lift her shirt up. Samantha giggled, "Darling, you should get the door."

He sighed as he pulled her shirt back down and pressed his forehead to hers. Closing his eyes, he groaned; his hard-on still remained and it bothered him.

At Becca's apartment.

Becca just got out of the shower and she was drying her hair while she checked her mails. She checked each of them and smiled when she saw some of her fans sent her love letters. 

Her hand stopped when she saw the red square envelope. It didn't have a return address and the only words written on it were in Bold Black that said. "My Love."

Even without opening, Becca knew that it was from that man. The man that she was running away from, although running away didn't seem like what she's been doing. Because no matter where she is, she was sure that he would find her anyway. Doesn't matter if she was on land, in the air or even under the ocean, he will find her. 

With trembling hands, she opened the envelope and took out a white card. The words were handwritten in cursive and she read, 

'My love,

I miss you and I'm coming to see you soon. 

Your love,

Gael.'

Becca felt a chill ran down her spine and she threw the letter in the bin.
