"That's the only thing that I remember. And ever since then... I've always used this.". Samantha spoke and then beamed. "It's actually pretty funny because there are thousands of songs in here but that's the only song that I put on replay."

She turned to him and asked, "Do you know that song, honey?"

The entire time, Daniel was just staring at her softly with his eyes full of affection. He didn't want to interrupt her as he wanted to keep on listening to the beautiful story that he just heard.

"Hey! Are you listening?", she asked when she noticed that Daniel was looking at her but not really responding.

He looked very calm. Yet he looked like he was longing. Samantha smiled brightly and her pearly whites showed, it was the smile that belonged only to Daniel. The smile that he always wanted to see.

Samantha reached out her hand and touched his face, in which he pressed his cheek against it, he wanted to feel more of her touch.

"What's up with you today?", she probed before standing up. She stood in front of Daniel and he placed his hands on her sides.

"Nothing. I just realized that the world is beautiful.", he spoke softly.

She smiled… leaned in and pressed her lips to his. "It is indeed."

Daniel didn't want to tell her about his discovery first. So he kept it for now and planned to tell her later. His feeling of fondness towards his woman grew some more. And with the memory, he felt that he loved her even more.

"Oh, honey… which video do you think I should upload first?", Samantha asked when she remembered that she had to choose what video she's going to release on the newly created page.

She had decided to give it a try. After all, it wasn't even sure that she'll do well or be successful in it. She just wanted to share some of her experiences.

"I think your first skydiving experience is a good one and you can maybe upload the rest of the jumps like a compilation for later or something." he suggested.

"You know what? I think so too! Okay, it's decided. I'll upload it now.", she turned around and opened her laptop.

As Samantha was working on her computer, Daniel went out of the room and called someone.

"Is everything ready?", he spoke right after his call was picked up.

"Yes. When do you plan to do it?", the other man replied.

"Tomorrow."

"Damn it. It's already 10 in the evening! You should have called me earlier!"

"I owe you again. I'll be good to you, just do this for me.", Daniel convinced.

"Fine!", the other person scoffed before he cut the phone call.

When the phone ended, Daniel breathed in. Touching his jaw, he stifled a laugh. He was feeling excited.

The Busy Bean Cafe

A Mercedes was parked not far from the coffee shop's entrance. It was almost 11 in the evening and the cafe was about to close. Seo Joon had been sitting in his car for almost 2 hours, debating with himself if he should go inside or not. It has been a while since he last spoke with Hannah, and the last time ended pretty badly. He had been thinking about how he was going to handle the situation as he was already in a relationship with Becca.

He honestly didn't have the heart to break up with her because she had always been good to him. But at the same time, he had been feeling guilty. Becca was Becca… and she's been a really good girlfriend all this time. Sweet, kind… outgoing and just a freespirit; she's refreshing. But the one thing that's been on his mind all this time is… Becca is all that... but she's not Hannah.

Just as he was about to start his engine and drive away, the door of the Busy Bean Cafe opened. Hannah came out with some boxes and placed it on the ground.

Seo Joon instinctively grabbed the door handle as if he was about to get off the car but he stopped when he realized, 'Not today Joon. You must fix it first before you go to her.'

And with that thought, he was determined to make things right. He waited until Hannah went home before he drove away himself.

The next day, Samantha and Daniel drove the Maybach. It was almost 4 in the afternoon and Samantha's phone rang.

"Hello?", she answered.

"Samantha! Your video! Have you seen the responses yet?", Becca excitedly said over the phone.

"No, I haven't checked anything yet since I posted last night. Why? What's the matter?"

"OMG! Sam, your video was re-posted by a famous traveler and it's now getting a hundred thousand views! How is your notification not blowing up yet?", she gushed.

"It did? I don't know… I muted the notifications on my phone. I'll check it real soon."

"Definitely do that! Talk to you again soon, Congrats!", she exclaimed before they ended the call.

Samantha checked her phone right away and indeed she saw that there were tons of shares, comments, and views on her Skydiving video from Country D.

She gasped and covered her mouth, "Oh my God."

Daniel glanced at her and saw her surprised face. "What's wrong?"

Samantha told him about Becca's phone call and how she found her video to be liked by a lot of people, it even got a well-known travel and lifestyle vlogger's attention which made the video even more famous when that vlogger shared her video.

"It's crazy! I mean… I'm pretty sure that there are tons of videos similar to mine.", Samantha was still in shock.

"Congratulations, honey. Sure there are a lot but the quality isn't the same. You were very entertaining throughout the video and you didn't only capture the dive itself but other things too. If I hadn't gone skydiving before and I watched your video first, I am sure that I will be convinced and want to try it myself.", Daniel stated.

Samantha bit her lip, she was feeling excited about it. It was weird because it was the kind of feeling of accomplishment that she didn't experience even with Trident's projects.

The thought of her influencing others was definitely something that she would want to try. But what does the future hold for her in this area? This was something new to her. She was once someone who feared being seen by the public and getting captured and talked about by the media. But now, with only this post, her popularity and identity are slowly being known nationwide.

Samantha was both feeling excited and nervous at the same time. 'Am I really doing this?', she thought.

Daniel saw the expression on her face when the car stopped at a red light. "You must be feeling overwhelmed."

She turned her head and saw Daniel's handsome features smiling at her and she instantly felt calm. "A little but as long as you're with me, I'll be fine."

He chuckled upon hearing her, "I'll treat you to dinner.", he spoke before stepping on the gas pedal again.

They drove for about 10 minutes when Samantha noticed where they were at that moment, "Oh? Our estate is near here… this is our neighborhood, is there a restaurant that you want to try here?", she asked as she looked out of the window.

"There's somewhere I'd like to take you.", he replied.

A couple of minutes later, Daniel stopped the car on the side of the road. He got out of the car and walked around it to help Samantha out.

"I didn't know there was a good restaurant here.", she said.

Daniel didn't say anything as he just took her hand and started walking along the pavement.

"Years ago, I was meeting a friend and his house was a few blocks from here. I wasn't supposed to go out of the house that time but I snuck out and came here.", Daniel started.

Samantha listened to him as he rarely shares stories about his past unless she asks him.

"And when I was about to go home that afternoon, it suddenly rained. So I ran towards that shed over there.", he pointed at the waiting shed that was a few meters away from them.

The waiting shed was old but it was already repainted so it didn't seem out of place in the already modern district.

Samantha wasn't sure why Daniel was suddenly recalling his past but she wanted to listen to him anyway.

They reached the shed and Daniel pulled her to sit with him on the bench.

'Oh? Isn't this that waiting shed?', Samantha thought what a coincidence it was. But what she didn't know was what Daniel was about to tell her.

They sat on the bench and Samantha looked around as she was casually checking out her old neighborhood. There weren't many people around as it was still office hours.

"Samantha.", he called her.

She looked up at him, "Hmmm?"

Reaching his inner pockets, Daniel pulled out his phone with an earphone attached to it. He handed one to Samantha and offered, "Do you want to listen to some music?"

As soon as Samantha heard those words, her heart beat very fast as if it was about to jump out of her chest. 'What is this feeling?'

She looked at Daniel's hand and received the one he offered, he smiled when she wore it in place.

He pressed the play button and Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars was heard. At this point, Samantha's feeling from back then when she was younger resurfaced. She didn't know what to think about it, 'Why is Daniel doing this?', she thought.

Before she could even ask, Daniel held her hand and placed an object on it. Samantha looked down and saw the familiar bracelet and as soon as she saw it, she checked the plates and there she saw the initials. "D.S"

She felt a chill and her eyes became watery. Both of her hands covered her mouth as she stared into Daniel's eyes; he was waiting for her to realize.

Tears started to flow out and she whimpered. Samantha was feeling a whole lot of emotions.

Familiarity. Love. Yearning.

She took out the earphones and stood up abruptly.

"Daniel...", she breathed. "It was you!"

He got up and faced her. He lovingly stared into her misty eyes and said, "Yes. Hi…"

The corner of Daniel's mouth lifted upward. "It's really nice to meet you again."

Samantha stared back at him, "I can't believe that I didn't recognize you." she paused before she added, "Daniel… it's you. It's really you...", she was feeling very ecstatic at the moment. Who would have thought, huh?

Without any warning, she wrapped her arms around Daniel's neck and tiptoed. And as if by nature, he supported her with his arms around her waist, already anticipating for the kiss.

He wasn't disappointed as Samantha captured his lips and passionately kissed him. And at that moment, she just wanted to forget about the world.

Breaking the kiss, Samantha whispered. "I love you."

Daniel's heart fluttered when he heard her confession. Where they were wasn't the most romantic place at all but he never cared about it. And the words that he just heard were the most beautiful words. He kissed her forehead, "And I love you."

The two of them left the waiting shed after a few minutes.

Samantha and Daniel were both definitely feeling like they were on a cloud nine. Their smiles were plastered on their faces.

He drove towards the outskirts of the city. And although Samantha didn't really care about where they were heading, she asked excitedly. "Where are we heading now?"

"You'll see.", Daniel smile mysteriously.

Samantha became very curious because of his devious smile.

As they were nearing their destination, Samantha became familiar with the route. They were approaching the seaside where they went before.

It has been a long time since they went there; the last time was when she remembered her memories about Mia and the accident. Daniel brought her there and they stayed for a couple of hours. When they approached the place, she saw that a villa was built on the cliff.

"Oh honey, look... a house! That wasn't there the last time we came here.", Samantha commented.

"Yeah… do you like it?"

"Yeah! It looks really beautiful…", she suddenly felt down, her voice was low. "I feel jealous of the people living there. It must feel nice."

Samantha always wanted to have a house somewhere near the beach. Hence she chose the beachvilla back in Country D.

"Let's go check it out.", he said as he sped towards the house.

.

Daniel parked the car just in front of the house. It had lights inside like someone was living in it so the house looked lively.

They got off the car and stood before the gate. The villa looked modern but it felt homey. It had a tall gate and the house was painted all white. The floor to ceiling windows from the second floor welcomed natural light and it looked really cozy inside.

Samantha stretched her neck to see as much as she can but sighed when she realized that she couldn't.

She clicked her tongue and complained, "Too bad I can't see more from here."

Daniel walked towards Samantha and stood behind her. He slid his hands around her waist and breathed her scent. Laying his head on her shoulder he said, "Samantha… will you live here with me?"

It took a few seconds before Samantha reacted, "What do you mean?", she turned around and faced him.

'What is this man up to now?', she thought. Daniel kept her still as he held her in place.

The breeze blew Samantha's hair and Daniel tucked them behind her ear before he answered, "I never thought that I would feel this way. Even with flaws and all, you are the most beautiful person I know."

He looked into her eyes and she almost melted because of the warm gaze he's giving her, "Samantha… You make my heart beat faster and slower at the same time and you're the only one who makes me feel that way.

"If you would let me, I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

"I want to have a family with you."

"Let's live in this house… Let's grow old together."

"You and me…"

Samantha's breathing hitched when Daniel pulled out a velvet box from his pocket. She became nervous but at the same time, she was waiting.

She knew what was about to happen. And her happiness came in the form of tears; her lips trembled. 'Why are you making me cry a lot today, Daniel?!'

Opening the box, Daniel appeared calm and collected but the truth is, he was very much nervous too. He showed her the ring that was sitting in the middle.

He looked at her and she looked at him. With a clear voice, he spoke,

"Be my wife and marry me."

As soon as Samantha heard him ask, she beamed at him.

She was happy.

She finally opened her mouth and answered, "I'm sorry that you had to ask twice. But love, I've always wanted to marry you. So, yes! Of course! Yes! Yes! I will absolutely marry you, Daniel!"

Daniel breathed out a sigh of relief and took out the ring from the box. He placed it around her finger. The diamond ring fit perfectly and Samantha loved it.

He turned Samantha's hand and placed a set of keys on her palm.

Samantha gaped at it, she was still shocked with what was happening. Daniel just had too many surprises today.

"Is this really… ours?", she asked.

Daniel chuckled, "Of course, it ours. Come, let's go inside..", he spoke as he grabbed Samantha's hand and marched towards the gates of the villa.
