Samantha thought that her mother was going to say something sweet, But when she heard what her mother had just said, her eyes grew wide in shock. Did her mother just tell her to have kids?
Ever since she and Daniel became a couple, her mother never talked to her about things like this. And then she instantly recalled about the time when she visited Daniel's father in the hospital back then. Mother Cho told her to bear twins and it gave her shock!
Having kids, shouldn't it be hers and Daniel's decision? Why are their parents pressuring them about it?
Although she had these questions in her head, her mind had wandered off to her imagination. She was suddenly thinking about little people, a little boy that looked exactly like Daniel, and a little girl that looked exactly like her. How cute is that?
Her train of thoughts was interrupted when her mother patted her arm, "Samantha?"
She shook her head, trying to brush off her thoughts away. "Yes, mom?"
"I asked if you two have any plans on having kids soon?"
Samantha opened her mouth to answer, but before she could utter a sound her mother-in-law chimed in.
"Oh! I really want you two to have twins!" Mother Cho said as she clapped her hands before she turned to her friend who was sitting beside her, "I've already talked to Daniel about it. I have also sent him food and supplements over the weeks to boost his stamina. I included some books and other materials to help him too."
Samantha was very surprised to hear this from her mother-in-law, she didn't think that she was very serious about it. "Y-you what?" Her heart pounded, unsure what she was supposed to think and feel at that moment. Should she be honored? This was a topic that she wasn't so comfortable talking about, at least not with her mother and mother-in-law.
Mother Cho was just about to answer when Samantha felt a big familiar hand on her shoulder and a tall figure appeared behind her.
"Mother." He called, his voice contained a bit of warning. Daniel sighed as he looked at his mother, he was quite embarrassed by what she was saying in front of her wife and his mother-in-law.
Although having a child would be really nice, he thinks that they were both not ready for it. Especially not at a time like this when they have people hating and attacking left and right. Daniel thought that it wasn't safe for them yet, he doesn't know who was after his wife.
Only when he can make sure that they were safe, and only when Samantha is ready, then maybe… that's when they could try.
"Why are you looking at me like that? I didn't say anything wrong." Mother Cho reasoned.
Samantha's mother was also unaffected by what her friend said, both of them were actually very excited to have grandchildren soon. Thinking that her son would probably not get married in the near future, her daughter would be the first one who will grant them their wish.
Hannah was just very quiet at the side as they were all talking. She wanted to escape was she was feeling embarrassed on behalf of Samantha.
"We will have a child when it is time. Please don't pressure my wife." Daniel stroke Samantha's shoulder gently as he tried to comfort her. "We had a very long day and it's getting pretty late, shall we go home?"
Looking up at him, she nodded with a smile. She was very much ready to go home with her husband.
…
Cliffside Villa
The black Maybach parked in front of the entrance and the two of them got out of it. Both of them were feeling overwhelmed by everything that happened to them that day. They walked towards the main door but Samantha stopped midway.
Noticing that she wasn't beside him, Daniel turned around and saw her frozen on the spot.
Samantha didn't know why she just spaced out like that. When Daniel called her, a smile appeared on her face and she followed him inside their house. "Nothing." She answered.
"Hold up." Daniel held her back and then picked her up in his arms. She yelped in surprise and immediately hooked her arms around him, "Woah! What are you doing?"
"Aren't newly married couples supposed to enter the house like this?"
Samantha laughed heartily because of what he said. Sometimes, she doesn't know where Daniel watches or reads romances. How does he know all of these things? He is so much more romantic than her.
They reached the bedroom with Daniel carrying his wife with him. He carefully placed her down and she stumbled a little but he placed his arm on her back to steady her.
"What you said back in the car… have you… um… used any of those kinds of stuff that your mother sent?" She asked with her eyes full of curiosity. She tried to think about the past few days or when they had some sexy time but couldn't really figure out when Daniel had done something to get her pregnant.
The last time that they didn't use a condom, she had her monthly period a couple of days later. And according to what Daniel told her in the car on the way home, that was before his mother sent him things.
"Why? Do you want me to use them on you tonight?" He asked. His voice was so low in her ear, she swore that if Daniel wasn't holding her up, her legs would have already given up.
'I don't think you need to, Daniel. With your voice, I could already get pregnant.' She thought in her head. She couldn't voice it out but her thoughts had already gone wild.
Her breathing hitched and the drumming of her heart made her close her eyes. She could smell the sexiness of her husband. He smelled of expensive wine and sexy perfume mixed with very subtle citrus fruit scent. It was a combination of sweet and manly, it was virile.
Daniel brushed her hair away from her neck and his lips touched her earlobe, she let out a sigh and a smile formed on his lips, he was clearly satisfied with his effect on her. "Oh, what should I do to you, Samantha?" He breathed and the air tickled her skin, she gripped on his shirt, afraid that she'd suddenly faint.
He slowly spun her around and she leaned back to him. Trailing kisses on her neck, Daniel could smell her delicious peachy scent. With his hands on her sides, he slid them all the way up feeling the softness of the fabric until he reached the closing of her dress. He pulled back a little and started to unzip it. He was halfway done when his eyes suddenly caught sight of what looked like an insect bite on her nape, near her ear. He stopped to observe it closely, "What is this?" He touched it and felt a slight bump. "Mosquito bite?"
"I'm not sure…"
"Does it hurt? Itch?"
Samantha touched it with her right hand and wasn't sure when she got it. "Not really. Is it huge?"
"It's a small one. Let's put an ointment on it later."
"Okay."
Daniel continued to unzip her dress and it fell on the floor exposing her almost naked body.
Turning her around, he picked her up again and placed her on their luxe king-size bed.
Samantha chuckled when she thought of how eager her husband was, "You are getting impatient, Mr. Cho."
With a sly smile, Daniel hovered over her lips and spoke, "Mrs.. Daniel Cho, it is only our duty to consummate our marriage."
