Samantha felt like their call had just become an indirect phone sex. But she was not going to complain at all!
Who is she to complain when she's having the most entertaining conversation with her sexy husband? "How do you make everything so sensual?" She questioned.
"Only because I'm talking to you."
She scoffed but was clearly amused and flattered. Daniel always knows how to give her compliments, he is always generous with it. "Is there anything else on the list of 'my needs', darling?"
"Oh there are so much more that I can think of but probably the one that we might need soon is a new bed." He answered, a smirk formed on his face when his imagination drifted of to something wild.
Her brows furrowed when she heard him, 'Why would we need a new bed?' she wondered. The bed was obviously new as they had just bought it when they moved to the villa, along with all the pieces of furniture and appliances. "W-why do we need a new one? Do you not like that bed? Didn't you choose it yourself?"
"Yes. However, to satisfy your every need, last night's strenuous exercise must be followed. I'm afraid our bed isn't going to handle it." Daniel spoke as if he was discussing a business proposal, very serious and sharp.
The moment that he finished the sentence, Samantha burst out laughing as she found it very hilarious. 'Is he for real?' She wondered, wishing that she could his face right now.
But when she recalled about what they did last night, she gulped when she thought of having to do it again and again. Instead of the bed, she was sure that her body was definitely not going to handle it!
Her laugh had suddenly died down.
Noticing the change of sound from the other end of the line, Daniel knew that Samantha was feeling nervous. 'Did I scare her?' He chortled as he imagined her current expression.
"Honey, don't think about it too much. Let me worry about it for you." He declared.
"Stop that. I'm still really sore! I had to walk very slowly when I stepped out of my car because I was afraid that I would suddenly collapse."
"I'm sorry. Why don't I make it up to you?"
"And how would you do that, Mr. Daniel Cho?"
"You can think of anything that you want and I will grant it to you."
"Deal."
The corners of their mouths lifted as they agreed. The two of them had just seen each other several hours ago and they were already talking on the phone like they had not seen each other for a long time.
"Are you not busy, Mr. Cho? You seem like you have a lot of time."
"I will always have time for my Mrs. Cho. What about you? What were you doing before I called?"
Samantha glanced at the papers on her desk and pouted a little, "Paperwork. You? What are you doing right now?"
"Thinking about you."
Samantha laughed once again. "What are you thinking about me?"
"About what I'm going to do with you."
"Daniel, you are so dirty. Why are you thinking about that right now?"
"I meant the training. I'm thinking about what exercises I'm going to do with you, you know… I'm planning out the course. You're the dirty one here, what did you think I was thinking?" Daniel Cho teased, his smile evident while he answered.
"You're mean. I wasn't! You are!"
"Whatever floats your boat, honey." He responded and then continued, "By the way, I promised my people that I will treat them to dinner tonight. I want you to come with me. Will you?"
"Mr. Money Bags is flexing? Why would I miss free food? I would love to join you. As long as it's okay for me to be there, why not honey?"
Samantha looked at her calendar and saw that she was going to meet Hannah at the coffee shop for a bit. "How about I'll meet you there instead? I have to drop by at the Busy Bean after work."
"Okay then, I will see you there later. Be safe." He said. They said their goodbyes before they ended the call.
As soon as their phone call finished, Samantha received a text message from her best friend Hannah.
Hannah: [ You're still stopping by later, right? ]
Samantha: [ Yes. After work. ]
Hannah: [ What time? ]
Samantha: [ 5 30 ish. Why? ]
Hannah: [ No reason. See you! ]
After Hannah's reply, Samantha continued to go over the documents and picked up where she left off. She had so much work to do but she wasn't complaining because she was in such a good mood. However, just as she had started again, she received another text. When she looked at the screen, her expression turned bewildered before she snickered.
Hannah: [ Your sister's coming after her work. Can you come over after she leaves instead? ]
Samantha was just about to reply to tell her best friend that she had sent the message to the wrong person when probably Hannah realized what she just did as Samantha received another text.
Hannah: [ OH SHOOT! ]
Hannah: [ Sorry. ]
Hannah: [ SHUT UP! Don't even tell me anything. ]
Hannah: [ I'll see you later. Don't reply. ]
Samantha just laughed at how silly her best friend was acting.
Hannah likes to tease Samantha about anything at all but now that Hannah is dating her best friend's brother, she had become a cute person who flusters easily.
The day went by so quickly and Samantha felt a little drained because of too many documents that she had to go over and sign for the entire day.
Entering the Busy Bean Café, she was greeted by the staff and saw Hannah from behind the counter.
"You're here. What do you wanna drink?" Hannah asked when Samantha was nearing.
"Just chamomile tea. Thanks, Han."
The two of them sat at their usual spot near the window and each had their own cup of warm drinks.
"Oh right, here." Hannah quickly retrieved something from her bag and slid it on the table over to the opposite side, in front of Samantha.
Samantha was sipping her tea when she glanced at what she was giving to her. It was a small minty green envelope that looked like an invitation. "What is this?" She asked when she picked it up.
"Senior high school reunion. They sent yours together with mine as none of them knew how to contact you."
Samantha pursed her lips as she thought about their high school life. She didn't make a lot of friends then, and even though she kept to herself most of the time, she was still often talked about in school.
"Do I have to go?" She asked.
"We should go, S. Whether you go or not, they will always have something to say."
"Then if that's the case, why should I go? It will be just the same anyway?"
Hannah rolled her eyes, "We must go. That way, we can at least control what they will have to say. I'll give them all a piece of me if they try to bully you! You can't keep running away from things that you don't want to face, S.. Besides, it could be fun! Let's treat this as our mini-getaway. What do you say?"
