"Hang in there, Han..." he said as they rushed to the hospital. He knew that she must have only sprained it but just to make sure nothing was broken, he insisted on bringing her to the hospital.

Seo Joon had to help her get dressed first before helping her out of the hotel and since she had a hard time walking, he had to carry her all the way downstairs. Hannah was both feeling embarrassed by what happened and was also bearing the pain on her ankle. Seo Joon swore that the hotel was going to pay for it. How dirty was their hotel room to have that huge rat?

Newlife Hospital

Hannah and Seo Joon are at the emergency ward for the doctor to arrive with her x-ray results. She had been quiet the entire time since they have arrived there and he had also been worried sick as she did not stop crying since she twisted her ankle.

After much waiting, the doctor finally arrived with x-ray films in his hands. He set them up onto the x-ray lightbox and told them that there were no fractures. "Don't worry, the pain will subside soon since it's only a sprain. However, you need to rest and don't put pressure on it. Put an ice compress on it for fifteen to twenty minutes every few hours to reduce the swelling. Also, elevate your foot. Follow the rest on this list and you should be fine."

"Let's just stay for a couple of hours before heading home." Seo Joon suggested to Hannah so that she could rest for a while.

He asked a few more questions regarding the medicine that the doctor prescribed as he did not want for her to depend on painkillers and the doctor answered him patiently. When they were finally alone, he sat next to her on the bed and looked at her. Hannah was actually covering her face because of too much embarrassment. How could a sexy night turn into something like this?

"Why are you hiding?" He caressed her arm gently.

"It's embarrassing," she muttered under her hands, still refusing to look at him directly.

Smiling, Seo Joon understood why she was acting that way. "Can you look at me for a second? I want to tell you something."

"No."

"Come on…" He tugged on her.

"No."

"Please?" Seo Joon held her wrist and gently pulled it down until her red face showed. "That's better."

Hannah pursed her lips and tried to look at her man despite feeling very shy. She wanted to make it up to him for being indecisive about his request yet it turned out to be a disaster. What a shame.

Seo Joon brought her hands up to him and placed a kiss on each of her cold hands. "You are beautiful... and sexy… and you don't have to try so hard just to please me. Though I gotta admit, you showed some pretty hot moves back there, I'd like to see them again." He winked. "It was hot."

Hannah laughed and rolled her eyes at him. She covered her face again. "I won't do it again. I will be reminded of what happened tonight."

Chuckling, he reached for something from the pocket of his coat. "Then let me make it up to you," he said.

Hannah felt his hand trying to lower hers once again as he added. "Look at me,"

Slowly, Hannah lowered her hands and what she saw made her feel like she was floating in bed. It was not what she expected to see so she was very much stunned that it left her speechless.

She did not know what was the appropriate reaction and so looking at the beautiful piece of diamond ring in front of her, all that she could do was sob.

"Han… I know we've both been talking about this and I have always been thinking of how I should be popping the question but, you are special. And no grand proposal could ever match how special you are to me. That's why I've been carrying this ring with me everywhere. I just… I just want you to know that I love you. And whatever decision you make… whether you are going to come with me overseas or not, you're the only woman I want to marry and spend the rest of my life with."

"Joon…" was all Hannah could say.

"So… Hannah Chu, will you marry me?"

Looking back into Seo Joon's eyes, Hannah could see him clearly. There were no pretenses. She knew him since they were kids and they know each other inside and out, yet there is still a lot to learn about each other. She loved him and her heart yearns for him just as much as he does for her. So without thinking further, she nodded her head at the same time that she sat up and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love you, Joon. Yes. Yes, I will."

Just like Samantha and Daniel, Seo Joon and Hannah shared a love so special. No matter what happened in the past, at present or in the future, they have each other.

Seo Joon and Hannah have been talking about getting married for the past two years. And Hannah knew that he was going to ask the question soon and was only waiting for it. She also believed that love doesn't choose the place and time.

In that hospital, in that bed and at that time, was just as perfect as any other.

"I love you." Pulling back, Seo Joon held her close and kissed her soft lips. It was the sweetest kiss that night; the first kiss as an engaged couple.

Hannah made some space so that he could join her in bed. Seo Joon let her lay her head on his arm and they cuddled on that small hospital bed.

"I think this bed is more comfortable than the one from the hotel." Seo Joon just couldn't resist commenting. "At least there are no rats in here."

The two of them laughed once again.. Though this time, they were definitely going to remember this night differently.
