The morning I revealed the night in a dungeon called Stairs to the Sky. I woke up a little around eight o'clock at the time. Mira exchanged morning greetings with Gilberto, who was awake earlier, before washing her face in the creek for breakfast that had been prepared.
It was the same meat as last night from morning, but if I tried it on my mouth, it stuck in my stomach without any problems.
Meat in the morning is a snack, too.
Mira rubs her belly when she looks down at her body and puts her hands on her abdomen, squeaking emotionally "Is this young?"
A little late, Heinrich also begins his meal with a blurry trick like a bear awakened on the way to hibernation.
"Breakfast is a day's work."
By the time I finished eating, my awakening was over, and I showed my usual steadfast but somewhere adorable face.
Then the three of them, who quickly cleaned up their bunks and camp tracks, stand in front of the stairs leading to the sixth floor.
"Now, the goal is to arrive in Heaven's Abandoned Capital before sundown. And since the sixth tier, the B rank equals. Let's go."
"Don't let your arms buzz."
From upstairs it flows downstairs like a cold breeze crawling. In the middle, repeated whispers of the wind echoing on the long stairs carve multiple folding creepy scales.
But the three of them heard the wind blowing, and stepped up to the stairs.
About an hour up, the Miras kick the demons, and again up, sweep and continue. Between the sixth and ninth layers, there was also a greater variety of demons, and their collaboration became certain. But still no man can withstand the Black Knight's Rigid Sword, and Heinrich's blade flies his neck every time it is shaken, silencing without a voice if Gilberto releases an arrow.
A hunter who sharpens his power to calm and settle, a samurai who has trained even more as an advanced adventurer, and a sage who is the highest ranking magician. When these three men are aligned, they will not be stopped by easy combat power. Especially for Mira, it takes a lot of work.
That's how you keep going up from the fifth floor, about six hours. Finally we arrive at the tenth floor of the stairs to the sky.
The tenth layer was narrower than the previous floor, and there was no demonic appearance there.
The light that lights the floor is blinking like a dying bulb, and its cold light occasionally illuminates parts like the invisible puzzle of the whole thing.
Its unpardonable light circles the wall transmission of the floor at equal intervals, and the membrane of light stretched from the wall does not reach to the center of the floor, so that it can be plundered and float a vague contour.
Whenever the light repeated light and darkness with no law, it seemed like a separate, detached thing there.
"Finally. Let's call it an operational meeting. By the way, does Mr. Mira know the boss here?
"Um, I know"
Sitting on the edge of the stairs, Gilberto asks Mira. Mira also answered so briefly as she stepped off the Black Knight's shoulder and threw her feet on the spot.
If you try Mira, it's someone you've attacked more than you know.
"Then talk fast. The boss here doesn't do anything until he moves. And when it moves out, it strikes by dancing in the sky and sending down an electric shock. In the meantime, always be thorough in protecting your movements and knock them off when you've planted a glide. Is this it?
"How itchy, but I have no objection to the awkward"
Gilberto's methods of warfare were precisely iron plates against the boss of the stairs to the sky. The electric shock that shoots out is fast, but there's nothing inevitable if you keep moving around. And if a certain number of lightning strikes don't strike, they'll launch a gliding attack from the sky. That moment is the most opportune moment.
But this time, there was someone here who could cover the iron plate.
"No, there's no need to protect it. Because I will go directly and slap him down. Lord, prepare yourselves downstairs."
Mira says so lightly without changing her expression in particular, mouthing a newly sourced sweet berry ole to loosen her cheeks to its sweet, sour and flavorful taste.
Gilberto remembers Pegasus and Garuda summoned by Mira in those words. And Mira's prowess was also shown so far. Mira's proposal is certainly arguably one of the means by which we can counter it in the sky.
"Well, speaking of which, you are. That's faster. Okay, please."
"Um, I'll take care of it"
Thus, after finishing the operation meeting and taking a small pause, Heinrich led the way to the center of the floor.
One, two, three steps.
The closer we get, the shorter the interval of brightness that blurs our surroundings becomes.
The uninterrupted contours gradually began to illuminate and take shape in the residual light.
Nestled in darkness, it's not white, it's not black, it's gray.
As we get closer, we can see the size. That's enough for the three of them to look up at their jaws, three times the height of Mira.
One step, two steps, and finally a foot touches the central area. At that moment, the lights, which were repeatedly abruptly short brightness, disappeared leaving only tickles and remnants behind the retina.
Abrupt darkening. A voice without sound leaks into the darkness of silence and creaks. And the sound of just a tiny bit of metal rubbing.
Like dead, like sleeping, but also something similar to fetal movement was certainly there.
Darkness stirs people's instinctive fears. Decades or minutes if you try it in time, or two or three seconds? Blue and white light filled the entire floor abruptly, just as it did when it was dimmed.
Stronger light intensity than ever leaps into pupils that were defenseless and stimulates the brain.
Heinrich stares at the front with his eyes narrowed. Gilberto reaches for the arrow as he holds his hand. Mira slowly opened her closing eyes and looked to the gatekeeper of Heavenly Abandoned Capital.
It was like a lean goat and a wrinkled old woman. He carries stone spears and stone shields in his hands and has wings on his back that resemble birds. It's a stone statue.
"Okay, we're gonna keep our heads together."
Gilberto takes a slight distance as he says.
Shortly thereafter, there was zero sound similar to the voice of a small, midnight house heard from a stone statue.
Eventually the whole thing starts trembling and gradually amplifies, with fine running fragments splashing. From beneath the gray, a matte black body skin appears, which spreads wide like ink staining the cloth in seconds.
Shards, one, two, and countless peels and falls, piled up like rough snow on the floor.
A single plank-like shard hits the floor and scatters flashly. It was the part that covered my face.
And at the next moment, when the blue eyes that were lying down were opened, the bursting roar caught in the atmosphere and sounded all the way to the spinal cord.
Shortly after that, the stone armor, which still covered half of his entire body, smashed, and the staircase boss to the sky, the gargoyle keeper, spread its black wings wide and jumped.
"You're right. Okay, Mr. Mira. Please."
"Well, be prepared."
Gilberto follows the trend with a throwing arrow in his hand as he follows the gargoyle keeper with his gaze. Heinrich also held a knife with both hands, always pointing his cut at the enemy.
Gargoyle keeper dancing through the universe like slipping wings.
Almost at the same time that hand with an electroluminescent stone spear moved, now Mira herself jumped up into space.
"Nah!?
He breaks the look Gilberto was letting him strain, and opens his eyes as if he were a fish. It was Mira herself, not Pegasus or Garuda, who jumped to the gargoyle keeper. Heinrich doesn't seem to have an open mouth.
But you can't even notice how those two are, and Mira runs through the universe with the gargoyle keeper in her sight. Every step of the way will surely lead the girl's body up and narrow her distance from the enemy.
The gargoyle keeper turned to the tip of the stone spear that immediately changed the target to Mira.
Immediately afterwards, with flashes like flashes, a roar filled the area as if the whole floor was ringing.
To thunder strikes more than you can imagine, Heinrich remembers the hallucinating tinnitus and re-distracts you.
Gilberto looks for Mira as she glances at her face. I can't just take a thunderstorm like this. I regret that we should pack up more stories about what kind of methods of warfare we will take.
But it was a complete concern.
There was a big white shield in the front of Mira. That was the sight that seemed like a hallucination, with a slight thunderlight similar to dust scattered around it to prove what had happened just before.
The sumptuous aftermath drifts into space, dominating the moment while the time feels like it's fallen out.
Everyone there, Gilberto, Heinrich and even the Gargoyle Keeper, were focused on understanding the impact of the lightning strike.
But only one person is taking the next action.
It's Mira. I immediately jumped over the shield to make sure I prevented a lightning strike, spreading my legs around the shield without even noticing the flipping skirt. That was a short time before the partially summoned shield of Holly Knight vanished.
What are you going to do, yes, when Gilberto thinks, Mira disappears neglectfully like a comma dropped.
It was due to the skill "shrinkage" of the fairy magician. The activation condition is that both feet are touching something that is scaffolding.
Mira scaffolded her shield and made a sharp approach to the gargoyle keeper's pocket. And Mira's fist sticks out without getting her hair in between. It's a "wind wrap" blow that wreaks havoc on a wild storm.
The gargoyle dived in just a few moments after restarting the stone spear, unable to unleash a thunderbolt, and forced the stone shield to forcefully interrupt, forcing it to be incomplete.
The surface of the stone shield is carved and scattered with a blade of wind so as to sharpen it with a twist. But while sacrificing a stone shield, the gargoyle keeper succeeds in hitting the universe hard with wings and moving up to escape Mira's fist.
But that's too much of an unexpected and forceful circumvention, a move that needs to be suddenly braked to avoid collision with the ceiling. That meagre amount of time, stiffness to the point of finishing just one breath, became a deadly gap for the gargoyle keeper.
Six black-dyed swords surrounded the gargoyle keeper and shook it down like a squid.
Understanding the inevitable, the gargoyle keeper raises his arms and accepts the black sword as if it had been painted and consolidated with destruction itself.
Six tall sounds echoed over each other, like they struck each other with metal. The murder blade chooses the black epidermis so that it can be pushed into the ground with simple violence, as if the swelling and gravity had doubled.
That's an overwhelming force. But against all that power, the gargoyle keeper managed to withstand the black sword in exchange for one arm.
With his useless arm hanging sloppily, the gargoyle keeper stares abominably at Mira with his blue eyes. That is not just intimidation. For in his eyes dwells the thunderbolt of heaven, which is the trump card.
Gargoyle's consciousness converges into the blue eye.
But the next moment, when its body leaned heavily, the gargoyle keeper sucked into the ground like an exhausted bird.
"Here they come!
"It's your turn!
The cause was an earlier six-continuous attack. A black sword was tearing apart one of the wings of the gargoyle keeper.
Watching the war, Gilberto captures and runs out of the falling gargoyle keeper, and Heinrich swings gently to the drop point to untie his neck.
A black chunk makes a dull noise and is slapped to the floor. The shock at that time runs all over his body without neighborhood, but the gargoyle keeper nevertheless turns his blue eyes to heaven to wander his gaze in search of the abominable intruder who dropped himself to earth.
In the eyes of the gargoyle keeper, the two men are not shown. Baked memories are of a little fist that created a vicious breeze, a black, heavy sword that devours your arms, and a girl with silver hair and prickly eyes that also resemble Light Falls.
Mira was attracting the awareness of the gargoyle keeper with its presence. Gilberto and Heinrich were thus able to spare themselves the greatest blow.
Gilberto shook three arrows wide in his hand, throwing one after a sigh of breath. Arrows that go as sharp and straight as rays pierce arms with legs and stone spears.
A gargoyle keeper who lays low with his body massively disfigured and kneeling in a vibrant shock from unconsciousness.
So Heinrich, with his sword on the upper stage, shook down his blade, quietly as if he were an intervener, but with a temper that he would swallow a moment.
The brilliant half-moon sword flashes lingered in the moment of touching the floor, but the heavy response conveyed had certainly cut the torso of the gargoyle keeper apart.
On the body that falls to death, runs, just plain white, and descends into the bright white dust that is dyed up.
The blue eyes remained glowing, but the focus never matched anywhere, and he kept staring at his own death.
The battle with the Gargoyle Keeper, the boss of the stairs to the sky, was thus over.
"Where's Lord Mira?
Unwrapping his remnants, Heinrich looked to heaven for the appearance of Mira, this useful actor. Then at the end of his gaze, a pure white angel descending.
"Looks like he's been tailored. Thank you very much."
"Mira made it a lot easier for me"
Fluffy without sound, Mira descends leaving a sweet smell of sweet berries. Gilberto greets Heinrich with a bitter smile as he looks up in love.
"That was running through the universe, but could that be the work of a fairy?
"Uh-huh, yeah."
"So what about that shield that suddenly appeared?
"You're a subpoena."
"... I see. I heard that the Summoner Dumbleffe also manipulated the Immortal Arts, but the boulder is only a disciple."
Gilberto, who is also deeply influenced by the ability of the magician, found at first glance that Mira's movements belonged to the magician, due to previous information that Dumblrf was a teacher. And when you become the disciple of the best magicians on the continent to its overwhelming smell, you just wrap your tongue around whether it belongs this far.
Then Gilberto took the stone spear and the blue stone from the white sand,
"This is Mira's share."
If you say so and throw the blue stone, the stone that draws the parabola will fit into Mira's hands in different dimensions. At the center of that stone, a discharge like static electricity seemed to glow from time to time.
The blue eyes of a gargoyle keeper are an emotional product for Mira, as they are a gem called a thunderbolt bead with powerful lightning power and are available for refining.
"Is that good?
"A legitimate consideration worthy of the job. We've had enough of this spear."
Gilberto says so, protruding Heinrich back into reality with the stone clash part of the spear that Gargoylekeeper had. Were you listening, Heinrich was deluding himself not to be noticed by a face stained with bright red, shaking his head vertically.
"Finally a destination."
With that word, the three look up at the heavily closed gate at the front.
It is a substitute that can only be discerned because it is near the ceiling and the years have passed, or because the fine workmanship is coal-fired and it mimics people to an unfortunate extent.
Still, however, it was well equipped with a sense of intimidation that only deserved to protect the ancient capital, the Abandoned City of Heaven.
A metal mass in the shape of a somewhat disproportionate box sits beside it, and Gilberto, standing in front of it, pierces the stone spear in his hand in the hole at its center.
From the back of the hole, the sound of a jizz leaks as if it were Zenmai, followed by a roaring voice of the entire box, a shake like an earthquake propagating the three legs.
The box was some kind of device. If you activate the stone spear as a switch, the light generated from the box spreads to the wall behind you like a peacock feather and crawls around endlessly vertically. And when he disappeared as he accidentally stained the other side, the figure of a man floating at the gate appeared as a wolf looking up at the blurred moon.
When the moon shined as if it were real, the line ran to break the center vertically, and the gate opened to be torn apart as it sounded dull.
The cold light leaking from the gap shoots on the floor like a blade, and Mira, standing just in the center, narrows her eyes to escape the sunlight that fills her sight.
"Okay, let's go"
So Gilberto stepped out to the opening gate. Heinrich answers briefly "um" and goes on later. And Mira also slipped out of the dim dungeon, beneath the sunlit sky.
The exit from the staircase to the sky is situated on a high altitude, with a wide and long stone staircase leading down. Looking back, there was a gate that seemed to have crept through Rock Mountain, and it had already started to close as it made a noise that pulled something together.
Gilberto and Heinrich have zero unspoken breath overlooking the view forward on such stone steps.
From the tip of the stone steps the streets, like a group of mushroom fossils, continued far and away. There's no sign of a person, on the contrary, there's not even any sign of a creature. It is an incredible place where people's hands have been missing for a long time, but green has not eroded.
"Is there still a day? Looks like you got here a lot earlier than planned."
"Thanks to Lord Mira, the battle seems to have ended quickly."
"Oh, as much as I appreciate it"
When Gilberto holds the tilted sun to the edge of his eyes, he checks the current position on the map.
This place hasn't changed at all.
Looking at the familiar streets, Mira throws her gaze far away. In the direction of the destination, the Temple of Crystals.
"Though we got there early, it's going to be a delicate investigation. First of all, do you want to base today and then easily check the scene?"
"Uhm, that would be good"
As Gilberto makes his plans for the future, he will identify a point from the map where he is likely to be based. Along the way, he turns his gaze back to Mira.
"By the way, Mira, what do we do after this? We've reached the Abandoned City of Heaven, but we're still headed to our destination?
"Hmm, I guess so"
Asked by Gilberto, Mira thinks only a little.
The purpose of this visit is to recover the sharpened scraps of the roots of the Michigi tree that would have been left behind in Seoul Haul. It is an easier task to digit than to attack a staircase to the sky. If you fly off this scene in Pegasus, it will be over in about thirty minutes. Considering the journey to this point, it's an overly lame purpose.
By contrast, Gilberto and the others can call it the real deal from here on out. It is an investigation into the inexplicable phenomenon of the forest disappearing, which was discussed.
"At the corner, I'd like to see the phenomenon and what the Lord is investigating."
That's what Mira replied. It's not a game event or anything, it's a real breath-taking world move. Mira, who has still come to this world short but still touched on numerous realities, was greatly attracted to its interest.
"Have you been interested in eating the earth? That's a good thing. Then I'll tell you everything I know!
Gilberto is forced to interrupt Heinrich as he begins to change his expression, even though he says he has gained an endorsement, and to show off the speculation he has led from the confirmed location and climate.
"There will be nothing to talk about here. First, we have to base ourselves."
"Sure, you're right. See you then, Mira, for the lecture."
"I just want you to give me a break for the little hard stories..."
The three thus cut clear winds with their shoulders down the stone staircase, entering the city of the abandoned capital of heaven like a failed white candy worker.
The sky mixed with nature and vision was blue until it was clear, and seemed to creep into the body with clear air as a shin.
