He took a deep breath.  First things first.  "You said we were damaged?"

The systems monotonous voice answered him," The ship's life support will fail in 1 day.  Thruster 3 is offline and all weapons systems are destroyed."

"How far is it to where we can make repairs?"  He asked starting to panic.

"27 hours." The System stated emotionlessly.

That was going to get old fast.

As Ice heard the system proclaim the time to his death he paniced for a moment then forced himself to calm down.  "Is there anyway I can fix the life support?" He asked the system.  

Suddenly a screen appeared in front of him. 

 Survival Task: Repair the life support.

After reading the screen Ice of course hit accept. It really did not seem like much of a choice.

"You have 3 options to repair the life support system they are as follows:

Reach a inhabited planet with a repair facility. Difficulty: Impossible

Use Ship radio to get help from a nearby ship.  Difficulty: Uncertain

Buy a repair kit on the System store.  Difficulty:  moderate." 

The System stated as monotonous as ever.

Ice listened to the system closely before asking about the radio.... only to be told there was no ships in range of the small system on his ship.

"And what about the store?" He asked becoming exasperated with his situation.  

"Store Unavailable during initialization process." The System informed him.
