"One of my men discovered an old temple where the 23 hoarders went missing." a man in general uniform said, "It took us a lot of time as the area around has magical fluctuations which made our equipment... Unuseable."

"Should I congratulate the Empire for finally discovering an ancient structure?" a federation man replied.

"I must admit the carelessness on our part but you, you have no say regarding this. Your federation shit was created by the people of the Empire!"

Federation man: "And so was the Kings. All of us were under them, so what about the greatness of the Empire? You can't talk."

Federation man the second: "I heard there was a commotion in one of your cities-"

With a clank, everyone went silent. An old man with a big crown made of 01RE, a precious material for disrupting magic, slowly walked.

If Vorjax was here, he'd go; "No wonder he walks so slow with that big-ass crown."

He would forever never understand what's with mortals trying to look powerful using big things. If he does so, he can just send a planet and crash it.

"His Majesty the Emperor has arrived." an attendant called, which made everyone- except the federation, rise from their seats. "Long live your majesty."

"Let us start." The Emperor said, "The old temple, what happened in it?"

The general from earlier stood, "Long live your majesty. My men have started to investigate the area, by the looks of the temple it should have been made by the Temple of Light, and have existed even during the kings' reign.."

With the kings mentioned, the Emperor's calm face cracked. He's the <whatever number> generation of Emperor, and he knows it himself about the deeds of the Royal Family. As a <whatever number> generation of the Royal Family, he cannot be compared in terms of power to the previous monarchs.

Considering the records hidden deep in the royal family showed the impeccable power of the kings, without that man, who are they, mortals to stand against them?

The man continued: "We found some scriptures in the temple and strangely enough, there was no mechanism in it, though we're still investigating the scene further."

The man then showed a hologram of the scriptures, it was written in the ancient text that cannot be read.

Certainly, the royal family has records of learning the ancient text. However, there seems to be a barrier learning it as if it was banned by the man.

What the Emperor and the Royal Family didn't know is that, if a person mentioned anything in that ancient text, the king would kill them in a matter of seconds.

This also explains why they could not read any of those books.

"You may dismiss your subordinates." The Emperor ordered before turning around to walk back to his chambers, accompanied by the rest of the members of staff.

When the Emperor reached inside his chamber, a man followed him: "Your majesty, the scriptures show a series of writings, most likely the records of the Kings."

"Do you think the hoarders had something to do with these scripts?"

"The only useful thing General Lan said is that the hoarders did not destroy the temple."

Emperor: "A temple that has stood for thousands of years be destroyed by mere hoarders?" he mocked.

The Emperor hated the fact that they acted like puppets, only moving and can only improve with minimum capabilities because of that person.

Yet whatever they do, they cannot afford to offend him. Because all of their glory came from him.

...

After the Emperor left the conference, the people of the Empire soon left after him, leaving the Federation.

"I can't stand these Empire men acting like they're all good and holy when their whole power came from the remains of the Kings!"

"Doesn't matter, the King of Greed has arrived and will bring doom to his land. Soon, everything will fall under the natural order again."

"What do you think they'd do about the King's appearance?"

...

In the Temple

The silver-haired man glanced at the screen and saw several videos of Vorjax, and to his surprise, Vorjax has already accumulated millions of fans in a short time.

Most of them came from the Federation, something he isn't bothered of. Ever since the Empire was split, it was long known by them, the higher-ups, that the Federation was made of the King's believers.

It's just that the Royal Family did so much protecting the news, and used their own powers to hide everything from the people.

A knock came, and the silver-haired man didn't even bother glancing as the door was opened. An old man in a robe with a staff entered, "When will we start moving the plans?" It was the pope.

Silver-haired man: "Just let him play."

The 'him' he meant was obviously, Vorjax.

"By the time we move that monster would have already destroyed our foundation for the God!" The pope said in a bad tone, with obvious no respect towards the silver man. "Oh dear God, please forgive this man." He prayed

All of a sudden, the pope was, as if choking, floated in the air with his hands around his neck. His face from a healthy glow, to a deathly pale.

"Let me remind you who I am." The silver man said, "I made you, neither anyone here can live without me." he whispered calmly, which made the pope even more frightened.

No one can understand a person's limits when even they are angry, they're calm.

"Let him play. You and the other ants can just stand and do your role." He added, making sure that the priest heard him clearly.

Before the pope could reply, the silver man walked up to the pope, put an arm around his neck and pushed him towards the screen.

On the screen, Vorjax was wearing a white robe, standing gracefully with his long-clad hair.

"He's mine."

Silver said, "And the rest of your lives will serve me. Do you see now, how easy it would be for me to kill you?"

The room fell into silence, and only the sound of the blood drizzling down from the pope's neck could be heard.

The silver man turned his head away and left the room, leaving only a trail of dead spiders in his wake.

As always, the silver man knew exactly what to do next to make sure someone wouldn't dare to try to defy him. Though they can just kill them directly, but it would be no fun.

He has to make sure that Vorjax will be entertained until the time comes and they met. After all, what Vorjax loves is something called fun.

And the silver-haired man will give him something fun.
